Is it just me or has the meaning of XL for women's shirts changed? o.o; ~swears a few of my new shirts would have been under L a couple years ago~

Then again these have been character t-shirts and those tend to be form fitting,but come on even then there would have still been room...xP

I think that the only thing they really change on women's shirts by size is length and (once you get up to the X's) room for bust.
I can wear size S a lot because I'm short and I don't have a lot in the breast department. (though I prefer men's size M so I don't have to worry about the length or my stupid shirt riding up; unlike a lot of girls in my area, I don't like to show much skin)
I think the general aim of all clothing companies is to make us feel fat when we're obviously not.
But maybe I'm just paranoid.

I hope I can stretch out these shirts enough to make them lose like my older shirts,but at the same time wondering how the hell two of my newer shirts already have a hole in them...same area too,right at the seam...~rather peaved since they were brand new~ >>;

What you need to do is buy the next size up. Especially if it's cotton; cotton shrinks when washed.

I think the same can be said about pants too! I went shopping for a new pair one day, a nice red color too. Went to try it in the dressing room and it was way too big width wise around the upper part for some dumb reason. I tried a smaller size down one, and it was still too small-ish! Ugh! Pants these days just aren't sized properly any more! -_-* Pardon the rant.
