Maybelle was born to an old farming family on the outskirts of Konohagakure. While they were inuzuka, most chose to simply live on a farm with their animals. Maybelle was the same way until she began to ultimately understand what her animal as saying. Maybelle's pet Cordelia wanted to be a ninja like her sister. With no reason to turn down Cordelia, Maybelle accepted the terms and with that, the two went on to become ninja, even if they were already getting older.
