XXXXXAngel sighed and tucked her blonde hair behind her ear. She got out of the car and smiled to her older brother. "Thank you, Alucard. I'll see you this afternoon.", she told him. He smiled and waved to her as he drove away. She sighed and pulled out her walking stick from her back. It was one of those easy fold up sticks. She tapped it on the ground as she walked into the school.

Nick rushed to school from his house as he had woken up late and had missed the bus again twice this weak. Nick was always a klutz and was a fool for a personality, but he always knew what was going on. The care-free personality was always an act. When he arrived he screamed with enjoyment "I MADE IT!!!~" He ran to the schoolyard were he saw a beautiful but seemingly awkward girl. "Is she new here?...Never seen her before...wait a...is she..." before he could finish his thought his friends had bumped into him with a grin "you were almost late Nick! We were bout to ditch you!" one of them said as they raced him and he grinned "I'm the one that helps you with your studies so be thankful!" He said as they went to their first period and school started.

XXXXXAngel finally found her way to her first period and smiled. She knocked on the door and waited for a reply. "Oh come in dear.", the teacher called. She opened the door and used she stick to find her way to the teacher's desk. She had the same classes as Nick without even knowing him. "Now class be quite please. I'd like everyone to say hi to our new student.", the woman called. The room got quite and Angel smiled. "Hello everyone, my name is Angelique Dupree. I come from France.", she said sweetly. "Can I ask you something?", a young girl ask. "Yes?" "Whats with the stick?" Angel raised to the stick. "Oh, this? I'm blind you see. So it helps me see around while at school, because I can't bring my seeing eye dog.", she giggled. The teacher nodded. "Yes, thats right. So I want you all to do you best to help miss Dupree. Nickolas, please help her to the empty seat next to you.", she called.

Nickolas was asleep when the teacher called him out so one of his friend threw a book at him yelling "Dude wake up already! Ya gotta escort the new girl" When he opened his eyes he was due to grumpiness as his hair was not done. It only added to his appeal, as the girls all whispered and giggled "He looks so handsome" or "He looks cute awake." As they giggled one of Nickolas friends grinned at Angel and said jokingly "Angelique meet the sleepy prince! Don't pay much attention to him as he's always just nappin' and stuff!" Nickolas rumpled a few cuss words at his friend before he grabbed Angels hand and let her to her desk. Her hand was gentle and warm and reminded Nick of a pillow, which he really wanted right now. "Well Annie...er Angelique nice to meet ya hope for the best to you, ya need something ask my dweeb friend over there..." He said as he sat her down and went to his desk were he dozed off to sleep, his classmates giggled as his friend bickered. As the lesson started he secretly went off to dream land. He was a lazy, smart...but fun guy when rested.

XXXXXAngel giggled at the sleeping boy. She could hear him sleeping she didn't have to see it. She smiled at his friends and nodded. "Sleepy prince or lively prince either will do for me. I don't judge anyone. I can really only by you actions and personality. I can't see you.", she joked with a wink. She didn't mind being blind she was born this way. She took Nick's hand and followed him. It was warm and inviting. She blushed a small pink she really didn't touch people's hands. "Thank you, Nickolas, right. You can just call me Angel if you want.", she said sweetly. Her french accent floated around the room and guy stared at her. She sat down and listened to the teacher and smiled when she heard Nick fall back to sleep.

XXXXXWithout realizing it she had made friend with both Nick's guy friend and female friends in class. The bell rang and Angel gathered her stuff. She heard Nick still sleeping and giggled. She gentle tapped his should and smiled. "Nickolas, wake up class change.", she giggled. She pulled out her list of classes and ran her fingers over the braille writing. She read music. For normal people there were printed words off beside the braille. "Does anyone have Music class next?", she asked sweetly.

Nick woke up well rested as he yawned "I've got Music...actually Some of us get the same schedule so I think a group of us are going I know I am..." He said getting up and feeling energized. two the female friends of Nickolas went up to Angel and smile. "We have have the same schedule as you Angel we'll go with you!" said Mary, the other June squeaked "umm..uh huh...yeah...we'll go" Nickolas chuckled as he grinned "Man already making friends I see...anyway meet Mary and June, you don't need to tell them apart since they stick to each other like glue...That weebo that spoke earlier is my friend Marc...Josh is absent but you'll meet em' later, come on we'll walk with ya." Nick said as him and his friends walked with Angel. Marc pouted most of the way as they walked down the hallway through many people who weren't in the previous class whispered about Angel and her blindness and called her freaky and weird. Nick and Josh gave them cold stares as Mary and June walked beside Angel. When they arrived to the music room it was barely any people there. "Kids in this school never sign up for music and take gym instead...but this class isn't bad..." Nick said sitting down near angel and his friends.

XXXXXAngel smiled to have made new friends already. She could feel and hear the others talking about her and sighed. "Don't worry about them. I'm used to the name calling. But really being Blind is a blessing if you ask me. I can't judge people on how they look that way.", she said sweetly. Once in the music room she smiled feeling around. "I signed up for music because I like to sing. Even though I'm not that good at it.", she giggled.

"Ah Well that's good cause me and you will be singing, it's a good thing too otherwise we would have to pick a different song for our monthly routine...I'm the only one who can sing the rest of the kids play instruments...I actually signed up cause I'm too lazy to run...hehe" Nick said as the teacher told him to come up to the podium and begin singing his piece for the duet song. The teacher smiled at Angel and softly spoke "Ms. Dupree dear you will be singing a duet with Nickolas, he'll sing his part as you memorize your part, it's a free sung song so just pitch with the music and you'll be able to flow with it...Ah Nickolas start your part now as Ms. Dupree memorizes her part...remember Nick! Strong in the beginning and end otherwise you'll sing in vain!" Nickolas nodded "I gotcha Mrs. Lefer...I gotcha...MARC HIT IT!" As Marc began his tune the rest joined in as Mrs. Lefer swayed the pitches. The song was magical melody that flowed through the hearts of all the students playing. It was beautiful but once Nickolas started to sing it became Magical, his voice was soft as a bird but his pitch stood as stone, it made many in the hallway halt in amazement, he was in focus that surprised most who peeked through the door.

XXXXXAngel smiled and nodded. She ran her fingers over the piece and smiled softly singing to herself in her head. Once Nick started to sing her head shot up. She knew this song. She knew it by heart already. She smiled and closed her eyes. She started to sing along with him. Her voice sound almost heavenly.

Nickolas was shocked when Angel began to sing, she was amazing, better than he was. The kids stopped playing as they wanted to desperately listen to the two sing, they were a great pair, a match made in heaven. Teachers and students came by to see where the voice was coming from and they all smiled as they clapped to the rhythm of the song. When the song ended Nick chuckled with delight "Thats a nice voice you got there, you'll make a great member here, As for me I think I'll get some practice later on...heh." He said as he patted her head and went to drink some water. Though he felt uncomfortable with the crowd of people coming in to congratulate the room for a great song, Nickolas hated crowds and didn't want to be part of the crowd.

XXXXXAngel blushed a bit when he patted her head. Then she felt all the people around her. She started breathing heavy and looking around. Though she couldn't see anything. She could feel it and it a was clear it was making her uncomfortable and she wanted to run.

Nickolas came into the room and as the others talked with the people who rushed into the room he gently grabbed Angel and pulled her out of the room. He pulled her with so much force he accidently fell taking her down with her. He shook his head but when he saw Angel on top of him he blushed and helped her up. "Are you alright...you seemed a little clustered, anyway like I said nice singing you've got a real talent there...you should use it more often...well see ya around!" Nick ran as the bell for lunch rang and everyone went to eat, Nick never sat with his friends for he went up to the roof were he could see the sky better and he would eat his regular convinence store food in silence, he felt he bothered his friends to much and hid away whenever possible.

XXXXXAngel was surprised by the sudden pulling. She knew it was Nick by the feel of his hand. She smiled and waved as he took off. "Thank you.", she called. When lunch came she didn't want to eat with everyone else. She was tired of the stares she felt. She sighed and found her way to the roof. She found it by the fresh air smell and sound of birds. She smiled walking over to the railing and leaning on it. She started to eat from her bento box she had made that morning. She heard someone else on the roof. "Who is there?", she asked turning around.
