Personality: Eros has always been known in mythology as the mischievous, youthful god of love who flings his arrows freely and true, both to prank and to bring people together. Unlike his counterpart Anteros, he doesn't necessarily have a concern with true love, though he himself has found it in his wife, Psyche.

Needless to say?

All that myth was true.

Eros is definitely a bit of a mischievous prankster when it comes to most mortals, finding delight in causing drama and watching love or lack of love unfold. Unrequited, mutual, betrayal... he likes to watch it call on film. With other deities, though, he tends to come across as the most stable of the Erotes--maybe beside for Anteros. He sees those who surround him as people who need to look internally and maybe chill out a bit ... or stop sobbing ... or sleeping with everything on the Isle...

Eros's Story - Major Milestones and Plot Points
  • Marriage to Psyche - As the story goes, Eros fell in love with a mortal, and she fell in love back. Psyche ended up becoming a true goddess, just like Eros, allowing them to get married and live immortally with each other.
  • Mother's Jealousy - Venus, though, did not really like Eros' new woman, and so, she worked out to make their lives as miserable as possible. It was unfortunate that she succeeded, eventually, in an event where she supposedly proved that Eros' and Psyche's new baby, Voluptas, was not really theirs. The wedge was successful, and Eros and Psyche were separated.
  • Temporarily... - After years, which normally seemed like a blink to such immortals, Eros couldn't stand it anymore. Without Psyche, his life was miserable and dragging. When thrown into a competition to find him a new woman--in Venus' intention, anyway--he purposely tried to throw the competition, even as he kept winning the rounds. Eventually, he threw that all aside and begged Psyche to forgive him. It worked.
  • Presently... - The family of three has been reunited, Eros thrilled to have Psyche back. However, Eros is not necessarily pleased with what the separation of his family was caused by, and is a bit embittered.


Future Plans & Plots
  • Rebellion - Thoroughly sick of his mother, Eros has finally put his foot down and reunited with Psyche, as well as discovered the presence of his daughter, which has been nothing but liberating. With this new sensation of rebellion!, Eros is wandering around actually exploring the isle and occasionally causing a bit of trouble...

Personality: They say the apple never falls too far from the tree, and Ignatius is no real exception. Like his father, he was born and raised a friendly skeptic, questioning the world around him actively while continuing to remain friendly towards those in the world he is questioning. He's a fairly amiable type, who has no trouble getting along with those around him... and honestly, wants to.

This includes people of all types and of all belief systems, which innately puts him in conflict with the leaders of the Light Faction, and those that they believe in. His family consists of people from all alignments, Light and Elemental alike, and so he finds himself distancing himself more than the normal person, to the point of refusing to devote himself to the point of refusing to get a power.

This makes him stand out as a bit different than others, having no definite allegiance except to his own. To those who dislike those who question and have no definites, Ignatius conflicts. However, he tries the best he can to get along with everyone, curious, exploring, and amiable to all.

Ignatius's Story - Major Milestones and Plot Points
  • Childhood - Born to parents Texas Pete and Saffron, Ignatius was raised by Texas Pete with cousin Mikasi and older cousin Vangelis. This has resulted in a rather worldly young man with perspectives from all around the Isle, one that is amiable but serious, and one that has learned to be curious about and question everything.
  • The Cave - Ignatius and Mikasi, searching for one of their fae uncle's treasure troves, ended up stumbling upon some odd events with the faun and the Holy Squires instead. While Mikasi was eager to go, this event opened Ignatius' eyes to the Earthmother--of which he heard from Vangelis--to the Fauny Princesses, to the Holy Squires' missions ... and how much the faun seemed to want to be away from them.
  • Presently... - Ignatius spends most of his time with his family, specifically with Mikasi, with whom he can be found with the greater majority of the time. Despite everything seeming normal on the exterior, on the interior, Ignatius has been questioning everything he hears around the Isle more and more. Why are the Lights so haughty? Why do some of the faun seem so nervous around him?


Future Plans & Plots
  • Rebel - Ignatius isn't exactly what one would call ... faithful to the Guardians. It may come from being raised with a skeptic father and a faun and nymph "brother," but either way, he can seem outright dismissive of the faith-driven authority these days, even refusing to get himself a power. This could create some interesting head-bashing with fellow Blood Pae. And don't necessarily let this be mistaken for an inclination to the Elementals either...

Personality: Zyzair isn't exactly one of those friendly faeries, nor is he one of the mischievous ones. In fact, it could be argued that he is just the opposite.

It could be argued that some of it is related to the environment he finds himself in. A mechanical man in a world full of water and humidity can have some trouble managing, and although he is learning how to, he keeps having all sorts of things thrown in his direction that only make that more difficult, and it shows in his bitter, stoic, and occasionally frustrated demeanor.

His frustration has bled out into other areas of his life, and even when he's not frustrated, he has trouble finding happiness in much of anything. Everything seems to be a bit of a drag and perhaps even more of a nuisance, and that reflects in how Zyzair behaves towards everyone he meets. He can be a bit hard to get along with and even harder to get to know, but once one gets in, well ... they will find that they've found someone who truly feels out of place on the Isles, and wishes things could make more sense for him.

Powers and Abilities
  • Electric Field Generation - Zyzair is able to create electrical fields in his surrounding area, originating from his wings. These fields can do damage to anyone around him who cannot resist or utilize electricity in the form of electrical shocks and burns, and can be used to give extra fuel to his secondary power.
  • Conductor - Zyzair's body is naturally conductive and can handle currents of electricity. This allows him to send out electrical shocks or power/charge items needing electricity to run, including generators.
  • Strong Magic Shield - Provides temporary cover from assault, in addition to providing some effective camouflage.
  • Magic Volley - Creates several, small, concentrated magic orbs that explode upon impact, causing mild damage and knocking opponents back. Limit of 3 uses in any battle and can easily be countered by other Factions' shields.
  • Apparate - Zyzair can transport himself to any other location provided he has been there before and can clearly see it in his mind's eye. Time of day or light conditions do not apply.

Zyzair's Story - Major Milestones and Plot Points
  • Sadron - Zyzair's first mistake on the Isle was probably going to the party where he ended up getting drunk and sleeping with Sadron. Zyzair hates water in the first place, and can't stand things that live there even more, because electricity and water don't miss. Unfortunately, he did, and ... now he has two kids.
  • Nashe - Of course, he only knew of the one, and that was Nashe. He continues to have trouble dealing with her even til this day. When raising Nashe, Zyzair tended to keep his distance, pulling her away from the water and trying to ignore the constant fishy reminder she gave him of the mistakes he had made and the fact that she was of water. Their strained relationship pushed Zyzair into deeper turmoil.
  • Presently... - Zyzair is a rather bitter fae, not finding much in the way of joy, but rather sarcasm. He snarks at most things and ignores the others, keeping his distance from most things as a bit of a recluse.

Personality: As a Holy Squire, Nephi has dedicated his entire life to the Guardians. He is dedicated to the cause, dedicated to the Guardians, and dedicated to those who make sure to follow the Guardians' every word and will. This can make him a very driven person, with a one-track purpose on anything that may aid the Guardians in their cause and in their wills.

Consequently, anything that is unrelated to the Guardians' needs may be met with a chilly demeanor. It is not that Nephi is a cold person. On the contrary, there is much passion and will in his heart--but unless he can see the way to make an advantage of something to the Guardians, he sees no purpose in it. With every situation, though, he will try to find something that will assist their cause, and if it does, Nephi will dedicate himself to it as strongly as anything that came directly from the Guardians themselves.

As a leader, Nephi is more of the tough type, a stickler for the rules. He does not take disobeying people well, and will be quick to brand them in case their actions next time are even worse. This can be in the most literal sense, if he uses his mark of justice, but he will be quick to maintain and update lists of those who are both concerning and those who should be lauded for their brilliant efforts and faith.

In specific missions, Nephi acts as an infiltrator, scout and information-gatherer. He prefers to stay unseen, though when he must act, he acts swiftly, bringing down any heathens before they have a chance to see who took them out.


Weapon: His main "weapon" is a belt of sorts, containing many different vials, some of poisons and some of inks. He keeps a blow dart gun on him. Nephi also makes use of small weapons, mostly along the line of daggers and short swords.

Powers and Abilities
  • Mark of Justice - Nephi can draw an indelible mark on another Pae'il, stating which behavior that will activate the mark. If this behavior is done, that Pae'il will be cursed.
  • Cleanse - a spell to cleanse taint, but with limits.
    - Note: A pae can only fully cleanse another pae that is one stage (or more) younger. In order to cleanse beasts or Pae'il of equal age (same stage), they have to weaken them first by battling. Players of tainted Pae'il do have the right to refuse cleansing.
  • Holy Aegis - a self-protecting shield that will deflect one attack per battle. If the attacker is a stage older, it will only deflect half the damage.
  • Light Lance - a sharp and focused beam of light that can be fired from a weapon and pierce magical barriers. It will harm whoever is behind the barrier, but not destroy the barrier. It will take all Holy Knight's concentrating their Light Lance together to weaken a magical barrier enough to break through. (as adults. Teens are half-strength)
  • Pure Light - a simple healing spell that will heal minor damage and restore some energy. Can be used on anyone, and will act as a damaging spell if cast on a member of the Dark faction.

Nephi's Story - Major Milestones and Plot Points
  • Sickly - For a long time, Nephi was not up to snuff with the rest of the Squires, spending most of his time in the City's Healing House. This has resulted in him being rather behind on what the Squires learned, but no less determined, keeping up with his studies from the sick bed he found himself in.
  • Presently... - Nephi, now, is back on his feet, ready to show the Guardians that he is ready to become one of their Holy Knights. He acts with determination, almost tunnel-visioned in his determination to show that his disadvantages have not left him unable to keep up.

  • Squire - Nephi is a Squire of the Order of the Light, and needs interactions with many Pae'il as part of his training. He had an extended stay at the Falassion Healing House, and may have a reputation as ... sickly, but make no mistake, Nephi is better than ever and is ready to gather as much information as possible.

    Personality: Nashe has grown up in a rather awkward fashion.

    She is well-aware of where she came from. So far as she is aware, Nashe was a bit of a drunken mistake of her father's with some kind of ... fish. Naiad? And as a consequence, he isn't particularly fond of dealing with her watery side. Nashe has felt like she needs to push aside part of herself and her existence for a long time, which as resulted in Nashe seeming a bit more closed off than most. She is afraid to be fully who she is due to her father's dislike of water and all things related to it.

    She's a bit of a shy type, having trouble meeting people or getting into conversations, though once she does, she's barely able to stop. Once she can tell she will be accepted for who and what she is, Nashe is an enthusiastic friend who wants barely anything more to spread that with giggles and long conversations and debates about the world. She is naturally nervous, though, about opening up, and will spend a lot of time observing before she even dares to step forward.

    • Electric Eel - Nashe has bonded to the electric eel, giving her the properties of an electric eel. She can send out strong, but brief, pulses of electricity to trap or stun her target. She is also capable of electroreception -- generating small electrical fields and pulses and detecting distortions within those fields and pulses, similar to echolocation.
    • Electric Net - Nashe, like her father Sadron, has the ability to create traps. She can infuse her traps with electricity, making it so her traps can stun or injure their trapped target.

    • Life with Zyzair - Zyzair let Nashe know fairly early on that she was a mistake and that he hated the water. It was understandable to Nashe once she understood that electricity and water usually shouldn't mix, despite how they seemed to mix in her, but that did not make it feel any better, and she became a shy sort.
    • Presently... - Nashe is now a teenager who still lives at home with her father, but she knows this is not all she is. Her eyes are turning outwards, in hopes of finding more like her or more who will understand.

    Personality: Introspection, thy name is Cheyenne.

    Often, Cheyenne will seem to be in a situation, but she will not truly be there, her mind on everything else that she sees and even that she imagines. She has a very active mind, constantly reasoning and understanding and jumping to conclusions based on what she observes in her environment. This does not make her an excessively active participant in her own reality, but for someone who can freely leave the reality, who does that surprise?

    Cheyenne can seem to be almost overanalytical, too obsessed with details and making sure everything works out with each other. It can annoy others, really, who would like to talk to Cheyenne instead of hearing her criticisms or unwelcome "tips." But with someone who will go toe-to-toe on her in logic, she will grow excited, eager to debate and learn.

    Perhaps it is fitting that someone so obsessed with learning gained the ability to reality jump, allowing her to see what the situation would be like if maybe just a few things were tweaked a bit differently... if she chooses the right gate, anyway.

    Personality: Flitter is a lot like the images her own name invokes: soft flying in the breeze, sunny days and butterflies. She's kind, polite, and naturally loving, a soft contrast to some of the harder natures that can be seen in the faun leader or some of the faun men. Flitter is the type to immediately run to help anyone in need, guiding them to what they need or who they need to help them out.

    It could be argued that Flitter is a bit of a mothering type at times, wanting nothing but the best for her fellow fauny, and now fellow faun as well. This can lead to her sometimes being a little overzealous, especially when it comes to patching up problems or even relationships. Sometimes, she can even cause new problems! Still, she is a lover of romance, so it is hard to deter her, especially when she sees someone or someones that could benefit from some assistance.

    This new world has awoken a curiosity in her, one that leaves her excitedly flapping her wings and zipping around to find out everything and anything she possibly can. This has made her someone who probably asks too many questions, and those who ask too much can often find themselves in situations they do not want to be in, or finding out things they never wanted to know. That doesn't seem to stop her, though...


    Weapon: Her clouds, if she chooses to design them that way.

    • Cloud Creatures - Flitter is able to manipulate clouds at a molecular level, moving them and morphing them into small creatures and constructs that can assist her in her day-to-day life or attack if necessary.

    Flitter's Story - Major Milestones and Plot Points
    • Equestria - Before arriving on the Isle, Flitter lived with many fellow ponies in the world of Equestria. She spent much of her time with fellow ponies Cloud Chaser, following the Mane Six around in the background to find out more of their adventures and even poke in curiously as she believed she was needed.
    • Presently... - Losing her home was devastating, but never let it be said that Flitter would not take this as a new challenge! Flitter immediately dove into the society, poking to find out as much about her new family and friends as possible while keeping her arms and heart open for the faunies who were arriving, just as baffled as she was.     However, living on her own has left Rhiannon with a very minimal understanding of Pae'il society. Any attempts to speak with her would probably leave the other feeling like she is very slow, broken, clunky sentences with incomplete thoughts all she is truly able to chain together.     Personality: Inanna can come across as a bit like a mystic -- distant, connected to something outside of reality, pulling in insights that no one would ever dare to guess with just a basic understanding. In truth, Inanna is no kind of mystic, nor does she have a crystal ball which she will pull things from, but despite her fairly new arrival to the Isle, she is wise in a way that most others around her are not.

    This woman likes to work with her hands, finding it comforting to create things that are both of use and of beauty. She admires beautiful things, especially those things that seem far off, but are still so visible and beautiful from the Isle below. She feels a deep connection with the stars, and is often awake at night, sitting on the beach and staring up for hours as she makes connections and stories.

    Inanna can seem a little detached from the surface of the Isle sometimes, head off above the clouds. This can make her a bit distant and absent-minded, even coming off as a bit out-of-sync sometimes when she misses entire parts of conversation. In truth--the world is so vast. Why spend time focused on the little things when there is so much more to accomplish?

    It's not because she's terribly shy, or an introvert, or anything of the sort. Honestly, she just is. She prefers her own company, and that is always how she's lived. Ever since she was young, Ixchel learned to rely on herself fully and completely, not dependent on anyone else for anything--or so it seems, anyway, as that is as much as she lets herself let on.

    When around others, she isn't necessarily awkward or particularly friendly. She likes to get her business done and get back to reflecting on her own, or being on her own, or just insisting that she can take on the City all by herself. Actually, in all honestly, with people, besides for being a recluse, Ixchel is fairly average. Nothing seems too off about her or suspicious, just ... average and polite.

    That isn't terribly surprising, though. How could a Goddess of Seduction be anything other than mischievous and amused easily? Some part of her relishes causing drama, so long as she finds herself benefiting from it--even if it is just by amusement! On the other hand, though, she does feel a sincere sympathy for these mortals--especially as her mother was once one--and so will use her abilities to assist them on occasion as well.

    As a goddess of seduction, she is naturally rather, well, seductive. She tends towards heavy eyes and charming looks, and has a way with words that can occasionally rival one of her own uncle's. Though Voluptas would be lying if she say she absolutely abhorred the physical pleasures, she is not necessarily just seductive in that sense, either. She can seduce people into doing things for her without even necessarily realizing that's what she's doing--honestly, that's just who she is!

    Voluptas has a tendency to the content and even playful, especially now that she has found herself reunited with her family and not possessed by some crazy evil Eris woman. The typical mode to find her in, if she's not playing up the seductive tactics, is this one.

Voluptas grew up without her proper parents.
    • Presently... - However, as of recently, Voluptas was freed and met up with her reunited parents, Eros and Psyche. This has put the devious young goddess in extremely good spirits, though it has embittered her further to the rest of her family. Why couldn't this be had sooner?

    Personality: Eknath is much like any other Rakshasa. He's curious, devious, and perhaps a bit darker in nature than the normal demons found on Telrunya. It could be that their connections with the other side leave them a bit less optimistic, but for Eknath, it's simple reality.

    Eknath isn't necessarily outright rude, but he isn't exactly what one would call a "Nice Guy." He's got a bit of a flippant, who-gives-a-damn attitude, and he knows it. In fact, as an odd contrast to his bonded, he is fully confident in it, standing strong with his shoulders squared. When push comes to shove, though, Eknath would be hard pressed to be as horrible as some of the other rakshasa might be, firmly standing in a more neutral territory.

    He will mostly act in ways that will benefit himself or his bonded. Fortunately for Eknath's freedom, benefiting his bonded isn't exactly hard. Honestly, just leaving him at home in his room seems to do the trick just fine when it comes to Lisandru, leaving Eknath relatively free to roam as he pleases.

    • Toxin Extraction - Eknath has the ability to pull any toxins from another Pae'il, healing them of the painful or sickening effects of the toxin.

    Personality: Rawiya has always had a creative streak, making stories about herself and the world around her almost constantly. She spins tales and ideas like some spin cloth, some so deep and involved that even she gets entrenched in them. Unfortunately, her deep entrenching can sometimes result in her getting overly involved with her stories, to the point where she places herself within them. This blending with her power can cause disastrous results.

    Even if other pae don't really want what Rawiya is offering, she tends to offer it anyway. Rawiya is compelled to be generous with everything she has, wanting others to enjoy what she enjoys as well. This results in her being very hospitable as well, even to those she has just recently meant.

    If something exists, Rawiya has probably formed an opinion on it or some idea about it one way or another, and she will be certain to make this opinion known! She has her own mind, thoughts, and feelings on the things around her, able to look at a situation and reason what she should think about it fairly easily. This can sometimes lead to frustration when others do not agree with her, and even the occasional snap judgment, causing her to butt heads.

    Rawiya isn't entirely sure what it means to calm down. She's constantly running at a emotional pace that will likely give her a heart attack one day. The faerie has a tendency to react rather strongly to events, even ones that may not ultimately matter. This has, in the past, resulted in her getting mixed up within her stories and rather argumentative, when in reality she is mostly stuck in the passion and emotion of the situation.

    If Rawiya wants to do something, she has trouble not doing it. She has a hard time maintaining her desires and keeping them wrapped, especially when it comes to the tales she weaves. Without maturity and reason to control them, this has caused her to do a lot of things that might harm herself or, unfortunately, others. Her impulsiveness can sometimes border on compulsion. She will eventually work on getting this under control, channeling it into places much more useful; thinking on the fly is something that Rawiya will almost be able to specialise in.


    Based On: The Storyteller - Rawiya is based from storytellers, who are able to verbally weave tales to engage others.

    Rawiya's Story - Major Milestones and Plot Points
    • History - Up until this point, Rawiya has had a very challenged life. Her creative mind took her for a much deeper spiral than she could have ever imagined, to the point where she became convinced that she was the Pandora of her stories, a so-called vampire that needed blood for sustenance. This drove her into doing a lot of things that other Pae'il would not, or at least appearing to, attacking animals and becoming extremely efficient at it just to drink their blood. In her drive for it, she also ended up frightening Pae'il, and at her worst, outright attacked them.
    • Presently... - The fear that other Pae'il expressed at this eventually got to her, and in her terror at what she had done, she retreated. Falling into hiding had resulted in her losing contact with other Pae'il entirely, left to live for herself on the lands of the Isle. It's only after all this time that she's tried peeking her head back out, hoping that, maybe, some do not recognize her face. If they did, well... she'd have to think on her feet.


    Future Plans & Plots
    • Turning Around - Rawiya honestly just wants to put her past behind her. Her goal is to not somehow scare every Pae'il she meets with her web of lies, bad actions, and stories, and do some good for the Isle--or, at least, some of the Pae on it. To this end, she's going to be putting herself out there, attempting to meet everyone she can and erase a bad reputation caused by a bad story.

    Personality: There were three kids born to the chaotic relationship that was the short-lived relationship of Esmée and Bneut.

    There was Lisandru, the inwards and awkward. There was Caine, the still awkward but not so inwardly turned. Then, there was Alister. The only one of the three significantly extroverted, Alister takes the position of the eldest and the boldest. Casual nearly to a fault, and perhaps equally as daring, Alister loves going to do things and experiencing the world.

    That likely contributed to the fact he wandered away from home as a teenager, only arriving back to Telrunya City long after he became an adult. He's settled down a little bit, but Alister has a tendency to stir craziness, and doesn't like staying still for too long. He'll make excuses to go anywhere, and will sometimes drag people with him for company, even if they protest it all the while.

    No child of Esmée, though, could ever be considered totally on-balance, and Alister can occasionally show a lack of sympathy that can be dangerous. He finds things amusing that likely aren't, and can occasionally be oblivious to the struggles of others if he, himself, doesn't feel them.


    Weapon: Alister tries to avoid violence, though he keeps a small garden knife on him he could probably use in emergencies.

    Alister's Story - Major Milestones and Plot Points
    • Childhood - Alister was one of three children to a relationship that quickly fell apart, getting lost in the shuffle between argument and argument until he just remained with his brothers. Of the three, he was always the one that kept it the most together, even after Bneut was kicked out of the house.
    • Teen Years - Alister was not content to stay at home like his two brothers, though, and eventually started to venture out further and further each chance he got. Eventually, he ventured out so far that he could not find his way back, but it did not bother him. Rather, he lifted his head up and decided to continue his adventures, exploring various places in the Isle and around the Isle as he lived on his own.
    • The Return - Alister found his way back to Telrunya City, eventually finding Lisandru and his new bonded rakshasha, Eknath. Lisandru, thrilled, welcomed his brother back and helped him get established in the City, while Eknath wanted little to do with the disturbance, butting heads with the elder brother at every turn.
    • Isle Events - Alister certainly could find him enough adventure back at the City, and that was proven with Venus' Day--in which he started crushing on a faerie for no explicable reason, made an enemy of a harpy, and got chased out by snakes--and with the Haunted Mansion--in which he found himself haunted by ghosts and needing to get his brother out of control. Honestly, he could say they were a bit of fun...
    • Venus' Afterparty - Alister physically dragged brother Lisandru to the Afterparty to have a bit of fun. They, unfortunately, ended up being spotted by Esmée, and quickly fled to Prisma, who wanted to play hide-and-seek. Adonis then came in and died, though, which rather ruined the fun. Or did it...?
    • Presently... - Alister's day-to-day life is a bit average for him, though he has felt renewed pride in his City with the actions of Raken and others. Perhaps he should find a bit of that excitement for himself?
