Morrison Octagonal Common Fighting to the death never looked so Grand
The Morrison Octagonal Common is the premier fighting ring, and one of the select premier attractions to Sasagi City, drawing warriors and ninja from all around to compete in their many illustrious tournaments. These tournaments draw huge crowds, often growing to giant purses and large amounts of prizes to be awarded to anyone who braves the ring. The battles follow three separate divisions: The open Division, Caster Division, and Physical Division.
The ring itself is actually an enclosed cage about the size of a "square" football field. The walls are actually large and durable bar fences with a large amount of voltage running through them. In this ring, their are only 3 ways out: Tap out, knockout, or bleed out.
Special arenas will be set up through a unique portal in the outer halls of the commons, leading to the Jigen Arena. When signing up for a bout, or challenging someone, please quote the Mod.

The six competitors of the Morrison arena all exited together in a unison of laughter and cheer. Another glorious day of battle and bloodshed for the savage and bloodthirsty spirited men and women. "You got me good there, Fred, but tomorrow I'll pay ya back that I will! Hahaha!" One of the fighters announced. They were all excited to go drink at their usual location after their matches, but stopped abruptly at a new appearance in their daily routine. A motionless boy made of paper stood in their path. He was in an odd pose. "What's that?" One of them asked. "Looks like a statue made out of paper." One of the female fighters pointed out. One of the fighters approached it and touched it. His strong, calloused finger indenting the smooth milky white paper. From somewhere else a sad melody would begin playing. "What in the ********' hell man?" One of the fighters asked. The music had no actual source and it irritated one of the fighters. "Just smash the ********' thing and let's get out of here...C'mon Mack les go!" Mack was the man who had touched the paper statue. But Mack couldn't speak now could he? What had happened to him, his friends wondered. The approached him and suddenly he sprung back at them. his face was being consumed by...Paper! Every breath he attempted to take caused the paper to recede in his gaping mouth. He pleading muffled by the paper. "GET THE THING OFF OF HIM!" One of them shouted. The music kept on playing. Who was playing the music? Where was it coming from? So many questions yet they were much too focused on helping their poor friend. And as one tried prying the paper from his face this fighter would find himself also prey to the paper and become entrapped in it's snare. "WHAT THE ******** IS GOING ON!" A female fighter shouted as the two fighters struggled on the ground in an attempt to free themselves. From seemingly nowhere a boy would appear as paper birds converged together. "You little s**t this is you ain't it!?" A female fighter shouted before advancing upon the boy. But before she could reach him she'd find her arms being held back by long tendrils of paper. She struggled to free herself as her body tensed up. A lone tendril of paper caressed her body. She now realized that everything around her was paper and that her friends were all trapped in cocoons. The unfortunate men from the beginning were all but dead from asphyxiation. "What have you done?!" She shouted as paper began consuming her body as well. "Shhhh it's alright. Just let it consume you."
To anyone not affected by the genjutsu, Toya had cast on all of the fighters the events were extremely odd. They would have witnessed basically Toya beside the paper statue playing the flute while everyone reacted to seemingly nothing. Toya would then destroy their things just as the boss man had told him to and then take some trophies for himself. Trophies being the heads of all the fighters. He'd stuff them all in a large bag made of thick paper and sling it over his shoulder. The white becoming stained quickly, but the boy would repeatedly apply more chakra to reconstruct the paper. "Oh silly me." He told himself as he realized he could just make the paper water proof.

Atsuko arrived at the Morrison arena with his small group in tow. They had waited until thursday night as had been mentioned for the big fight. Besides the spot they also seemed to have a very plain description for the man they were looking for. Atsuko still wasn't quite sure how they would go about this but figured they'd have to wait and see for any opportunity to arrive first.
With it being a big night he was expecting a crowd and likely to have to pay his way in but wouldn't know until they finally got to the front of the building.
Ninja Passives • Noble - While his sharingan is active Atsuko is able to identify when a genjutsu is being cast if the jutsu is being cast within his sight-line. It does not allow him to know what is being cast and he must still pay the appropriate cost to avoid or break out of the genjutsu.
• Mangekyou Sharingan - Active / Hypnotism: Can view chakra brightly and see their shapes distinctly from other ninjutsu. Can see the type of chakra being used, be it elemental, bloodline, clan, or Maruton, and also reports the strength of the jutsu prior to it actually being launched. Genjutsu defense remains the same as before. Does not stack with other defense boosts. • Amateratsu’s Cloak: Katon techniques produced by the Uchiha, not just bloodline ones but all, are turned black. These flames burn hotter, longer, and oddly brighter than others. Confers a reduction to seals needed for fire techniques to 1 instead of what should usually be necessary, and converting normal katon into Uchiha fire, effectively converting them into bloodline techniques at an additional 5 chakra per rank of the technique. Confers any bonuses to katon to bloodline techniques that involve fire as well for the same cost increase. • Illusory Prowess - This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha and adds a single secondary sense to any genjutsu cast by the Uchiha, at their discretion. • Targeted Immunization (Fear) - Immune to the fear hazard. Uchiha see a lot of terrible stuff right?
• Lost Robes - Able to seal abilities within the robes, Stored Below Large Tomoe // Kamui Small Tomoe // Small Tomoe // • Foresight - Can negate fuin used on the wearer by paying double the equivalent cost up to S rank. This ability will trigger automatically (still taking up a activation) if the proper amount of chakra is still had by the user of the robes. Automatically OR manually both take up activation.
• Blade of Peace - Gives twice the normal regeneration for out of combat and twice the regeneration when in combat as long as the user is not using any activation's. Can also be extended to allies within a radius of 50 feet.
• Undertow - Any physical attack that follows a dodge is treated as a counterattack and will break the opponent’s stance if not properly defended against. Only breaks stances up to the user’s maximum trained rank in the Hard or Soft Physical Formless Styles. • Embrace the Brine - The student can add both Fortitude and Reflex descriptive increases to the rank of their stance when determining whether they would be knocked out of it by an attack. • Every Inch of Sail - When defending against unarmed strikes, the student’s defensive strikes can slowly overwhelm an opponent’s passive defenses, reducing their passive Fortitude bonuses by an amount equal to the student’s passive Reflex bonuses the post after they attacked the student.
• Insight Rain - The user will practice extending themselves into the atmosphere, in a sense. After much dedication, the user develops the ability to sense hostile intent in the immediate area. As to where, however, they cannot be sure.

To say this was a big night at Morrison would be an understatement. The crowd filling the stands--even at its quietest--was loud enough to be heard from a block away. Just looking at the place from the outside, however, there wouldn't appear to be much going on: aside from a few thoroughly stomped-on mud puddles from some rains earlier in the day, there weren't any signs that there had been a lot of people in the area, and there were even some staff members taking smoke breaks out front.
The billboard out front read:
"TONIGHT WARSHIP VS. THE CRIMSON FIST GRUDGE MATCH OF A LIFETIME BETWEEN THE WATERFALL AND THE GRASS"
Just inside the front doors was a chalkboard bearing pricing information for seats. Every option was crossed out except for "The Sticks - 50 Ryou per head". A bored-looking teenager in a bow tie and blazer sucked on an unlit cigarette behind the counter.
The alleys on either side of the building were grungy even by the standards of Sasagi city, each steeping in its own stew of horrid smells. They were fenced off from the street, and a sizable amount of refuse had built up at the base of each fence. Paper, cardboard, and things rotted beyond recognition were dissolving into a wet goo that clung to the lowest links in the fencing.
The left side appeared more or less empty, save for a door without a handle and a waste bin. If any of the group decided to watch for a short while, a waiter would poke their head out and toss some table scraps into the bin. Exactly when that bin had last been emptied was anyone's guess, but the odor was practically visible. What might have made this noteworthy was that food service was only offered to those in box seats, which were typically reserved in advance for quite a pretty penny.
The right side smelled much less offensive, but looked worse. There were a few sets of doors leading into what were presumably locker rooms, based on the few boxers loitering about the place half-dressed. Pools of mysterious liquids--perhaps blood--rotted wherever the pavement dipped. The fallout of particularly rowdy matches--broken chairs, stained clothes, teeth--had been haphazardly shoved against the opposite building, just far enough away that the doors could still open.
And yet, for all that, the great stone edifices of the arena were remarkably clean. Perhaps even recently scrubbed.
A great roar erupted from within the arena. An announcer shouted something that didn't have a ghost of a chance at being heard.
As Mi-jin approach the building with Atsuko and Xi, the noise had become more apparent. Pawpaw lifted his slender head and sniff at the air as Mi-jin stop at the sign. Reading was still a hard task for her and her mouth open and closed as she soundlessly worked the words over her tongue. "pawpaw, can you read this?" Mi-jin whisper as the large possum slobber over her shoulder. Equally confused until the wind carried over strong smoke from the staff cigarette. Wrinkling her nose at the fumes, Mi-jin waves her hand as she back away toward her group again.
Mi-jin surveys the room the best she can. It was loud and there was a lot of people, She reached out for Xi sleeves, so she wouldn't get lost. Pawpaw, on the other hand, was surveying the scent of rotten blood and food. Dropping down from her shoulder and dodging the legs of the attendant and staff as it stood on it hind legs. Meaty paws reaching for the edge of the bins to tilt the treasured content inside.
"Pawpaw!" Mi-jin could only yell out the possum name before the marsupial duck his head into the garbage can. "Pawpaw, grit back 'ere!" Mi-jin said again. Mi-jin grabs the possum around the middle, but the possum struggles to eat the garbage from the trash. "Pawpaw, stop squirmin'"Mi-jin scolded.

Atsuko surveyed the area carefully, all of the noise and clutter made it hard to really take it all in. The benefit of such chaos was they'd likely be able to go unnoticed unless they really tried to draw attention to themselves. The shishin never really wore any fancy attire or clothing that could make them appear to be village shinobi so he felt safe at least for now that they wouldn't be targeted.
During the transition from bar to arena they had parted ways with Xi. She had other business to attend to it seemed and Atsuko would not keep her. However he did feel the need to get more help if it was all possible. Activating his communication piece he spoke softly into it, "Juya can you hear me? This is Atsuko reporting in. We are currently at the morrison arena and need assistance if at all possible. Xi has left us for now so it is only myself and Mijin"
Well Atsuko spoke he made sure to keep pace with Mijin as she chased after her possum, a small smile creasing his lips as he watched the antics of the creature and waited for a response from Juya.

Mi-jin pulled the possum from the rubbish bin and she inhales quickly as she could smell the rancid odor coming from pawpaw open mouth chewing. Her arms tighten around the large marsupial middle and took two steps away from the trash bin that got knock over by pawpaw long tail. “Wa, c’mon! Really?” Mi-jin half-shouted as she places the possum on the ground. Quickly trying to pick up the fallen trash to put back into the bin. Feeling her hands get a step on by the crowd and making the task twice more difficult. From her lower viewpoint, Mi-jin notices the door close to her will open. The next time it open, Pawpaw had snuck inside, following the scent of food. “Oh no you don’t!” Mi-jin grabs the door before it could close and slip inside.

◇ She kept her head down for most of her trip to where she was now, her hood pulled up and her mask on as she jogged forth. It was easy to see where they were with her sight, byakugan giving her a radial view of her surroundings for a good few miles. It allowed her to escape a mugging or two while she went about her way, making her thankful she was born with such.
The young shinobi slowed down a bit when they were in normal view, her hand raising to wave at them before she stopped a few feet from Atsuko. Mijin seemed to be occupied with her opossum in the meantime, the door to the kitchens left ajar as the two had scurried inside on after the other. Would that be okay? Only a bit more time would tell she supposed, hear turning to her leader so she could talk with him. "So what're we here for? Where should I get to?"
As she asked, her attentions had expanded to more than just where they were. Ranged sights would become enhanced with Chizu as she looked through the stadium filled with the excitement of many. It was so loud that any number of crimes could be committed and no one would be able to hear it. Perfect for sneaking as long as everyone's attention was elsewhere; and it would from the looks of the contestants. Ever scanning, her eyes would search for anything that seemed amiss; unusually high chakra pools, information on those specific individuals such as bloodlines and elemental affinities, secret doorways or smuggler holes, the two paths in front of them and what were behind the doorways, and even under the stadium to see if there were any connecting pathways that weren't just for sewage. On top of that she would also look to see if any security was around, human or otherwise, that may be a hindrance to their movements. Information was always a must on missions and the sooner they had it, the better.

Atsuko was so busy with sending the message he really hadn't seen where the others wandered off to immediately. Eventually Junya appeared, much to his relief, and he waved in return.

"Though....we may need to track down Mijin. Hopefully before she gets into trouble"
With that last sentence said he motioned with his head for her to follow and moved towards the kitchen back door, hopefully in time to stop whatever madness might be happening beyond.

Chaos. Pandemonium. Both were words that applied to the kitchen before and after Mi-jin and her possum entered the kitchen, but the texture of the disorder was distinctly different after its appearance. Shrieks could be heard, people screaming about a rat, and plenty of personages both recoiling from and chasing after Mi-jin and her pet abounded. Food was in no short supply here, from greasy corn dogs to greasy burgers to greasy fries, it was a heaven of caloric gluttony. Dirty and poorly lit as the kitchen was, there were plenty of scraps to be found. That, and a very angry waiter, who would start chasing the pair around almost as soon as they entered, armed with a pot lid, a wooden spoon, and all the obscenities he could muster. He seemed to be particularly angry about the possum.
Juya's scan of the crowd would turn up precisely that: a roiling mass of thoroughly excited bodies. There were a few notable patches of Chakra, namely in the announcer (a short-ish woman with a sizable pool who seemed to be using it to amplify her voice and perhaps put on a transformation; she seemed to have Soul Release abilities), the fighters (who weren't using it at all, but one of whom had a hazy air of Black Steel Chakra about him), and small amounts in a random smattering of people in the crowds and among the staff. Juya's eyes would seemingly unfocus when passing over the front row, causing her enhanced sight to temporarily stop every time she looked there. There were a few paths that weren't so much hidden as they were just unused, mostly leading to different exits in the alley. There was one flight of stairs behind the building that led to a squatter's camp in the sewers underground.
Mi-jin's commotion had caught the attention of some of the staff. A couple from the front of the house would saunter out to watch Atsuko heading toward the door, but it seemed to just be another day's worth of gossip for them. A couple members of the sparse security staff headed from the arena toward the kitchen.
“Pawpaw!” Mi-jin was focused on pawpaw, but she was aware of how much trouble she was in. Pawpaw was like a fat kid in a candy store with the amount of food out in the open. Food that was much more tastier than garbage. “I promise, he never acted like this before.” Mi-jin tried to explain as she attempted to grabbed the possum and prevent any harms from reaching her furry friend.
Pawpaw, on the other hand, has lept on the counter and shoved as much greasy food down his throat before scrambling to the next available space. His food lust driving him to insane speed as he lept on one waiter back. Digging its claws into the man shoulder as it panted heavily from all the running.
“If you just stand still, I might be able to grab him!” Mi-jin circle the waiter, but the possum used the waiter as a springboard to launch further into the kitchen. Searching for more scrabs as it dodges capture once again.
