It was sheer luck and attention to detail, that alerted Zets to the small panel on the face of the tube. Instead of tampering with it, he would simply make mental note of the exact location it had been in. ‘this can’t be good. I need to get this intel back to Kara, but first...’ His thought trailed on as he watched the pair exit the water in quite a rush. It didn’t even seem like they were looking back, which was advantageous to him.
The very moment after the second individual was hoisted out of the water, Zets clasped his hands together activating his kekkei genkai. Suddenly, beneath the thick mud would emerge five thick roots that entangled themselves beneath Zets’ feet, forming a makeshift platform. The roots then became to rise Zetsu to the surface of the water, aiming for the exact location that the HIV’s exited, closing the distance quickly. Zets’ thinking was that the water was already heavily disturbed, so it wouldn’t be strange for his movements to be present. Luckily, due to the roots emerging from the mud, there would be a cloud of sediment to mask him ever so slightly, in the already filthy river. Stopping just short of the shore, Zets would watch the pair’s silhouettes closely through the murky water, awaiting his opportunity to exit the water and continue his pursuit.

The duo didn't seem the least bit interested in the river now that they'd exited it and were busy shimmying out of their wetsuits when Zetsu reached his observation point. They stashed the outfits behind a loose stone in one of the bridge's supports, then wandered back toward the street in plainclothes, looking for all the world like a couple of average joes. Their departure would come not a moment too soon, for just as they started scaling the banks, Zetsu would feel an almost electric tingling throughout his body and the platform beneath his feet would snap off of the roots holding it in place. The wood had rotted all the way down to the riverbed. Splinters were fraying off of his wooden platform as the rot spread to it, too, though whether it would break apart completely before popping him up to the surface was up to how he reacted to this development. Would he fortify his platform, or would he let it crumble?

His perfectly timed ascension to the rivers surface would prove to be in vain. Just as he watched the pair shed their suits Zets had planned to activate his roots again, only... he would be engulfed buy an unexpected sensation. It was a wise choice to aim for the point where the last HIV was hoisted up, as this placed him within a few feet of the shore. Anticipating the worst, he wouldn’t hesitate to push off of the now crumbling platforms and reach for the shoreline just out of reach. Panic took over during that in-between time, forcing him to exhale some of the air in his longs. He had never experienced a sensation like this and it frightened him to think of what this could mean, was this a precursor to something worse? Would he make it in time? That split second almost felt like minutes to the unsuspecting young man. His legs would thrash underwater in order to assist in converting the last few inches, his teeth clenched as tight as possible in the gut wrenching process.
Emerging on to the shore, belly down, Zets clawed at the earth in order to pull himself free of the strange sensation that the river was now emitting. Once his legs were free of the water, Zets turned onto his backside and used his legs to push himself further away from the river. Almost as if he were afraid of the water forca moment. ‘i’m good, I’m good!’ He reoeated in his head as he flexed his fingers and toes, trying to shake off the tingling feeling.
“Turtle, checking in, we’ve got some strange activity on the riverbed. An unknown divine descending deep underground, in pursuit of the HVI’s as we speak, Switching to secure channel 2, comms will remain open but do not initiate contact unless I give the all clear.” It may have been crowded but They couldn’t have gotten far and he knew exactly what they were wearing under those wetsuits. As a precaution, Zets knew that he would stick out like a wet thumb if he carried on like this. Just behind the last support column, he would clasp his hands together and activating his kekkei genkai once again. Wood began to emerge from the surface of Zets’ body, spiraling from head to toe until he was completely covered. This technique would end with a puff of smoke, leaving Zets to appear as a dry, common female carrying a wooden basket filled with flowers.
With that, Zets was beginning to fall behind, and his targets gaining too much of a distance. Making a split decision, Zets formed several hand seals and and activated a stealth technique to work in unison with his kekkei genkai transformation. With all of the moisture trapped within the wooden shell, and an extra layer of stealth, Zets began a half sprint into the crowed. He would continue after the HIV’s until he was a safe distance behind them to observe their movements.
Despite of all his fear and worrying, nothing overtly bad would occur to Zetsu after his platform rotted away, apart from a few pieces of trash that hung off him when he pulled himself out.As soon as he was disguised and properly hidden amongst the crowds, no one would even bat an eye at him, not even the people who seemed the type to otherwise take advantage of a young woman. Zetsu's targets would saunter along the streets on a suspiciously familiar path: the same one that led back to the nice (in a manner of speaking) apartments he had just visited earlier.

Goosebumps traveled up Zets arms and neck once he realized that the two missions he was handed, probably went hand on hand. Leaving him filled with regrets about how he approached the man from earlier, Zets now knew that he needed to be even more cautious. ‘I’m such an idiot. Of course Magnus wouldn’t need me to collect a simple debt for him. ITS MAGNUS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD’ He would scream inside his head out of frustration. Now, there was only the matter of finding out what these scumbags were up to. After his slip-up, the UHV was probably on alert. Lucky for him, they’d think he was a misguided debt collector.
Things would get dicey if Zets were to just blatantly keep following the men, but he had no way of keeping tabs on them once they were out of sight.there was only one option and it would be a risky one. Clasping his hands together, Zets would appear on the outside as a young girl praying for some sort of miracle. He would even mumble to himself to make the girl seem like she was chanting a mantra or something. However, in actuality he was simply casting a jutsu belonging to his kekkei Genkai. After several seconds, a small seed would be formed inside the palm of the girls hand. With this, all anyone in the crowd would see, was a young woman racing through the crowd in a rush. Intentionally, she would plow through the pair of men, slightly knocking them off balance, but not completely knocking them down. Using the element of surprise, and slight of hand, she slid the seed under the collar of the individual that was tampering with the panel at the riverbed.
Coming to a halt, the attractive young women would turn and give a deep bow of respect to the pair of men. “PLEASE FORGIVE ME SIR’s, I was careless in my rush to get these flowers home to my sick father. Please have mercy.” He called out on a flustered feminine voice. Zets wouldn’t linger to long and barely gave the men time to start their response. He then sprinted off, as fast as a young lady would, leaving the men to their their business. While he would make his way to the very same back entrance that he used for his escape earlier. Sliding in he would stop to catch his breath within the wooden exterior he’d created. He now had a direct line to the HVI’s location and everything that would be said here on out. After catching his breath, Zets made his way to the top floor, attempting to access the roof as his vantage point.
