And with that, it was over. Taketori felt the tension ease off himself like his bones re-assimilating into his body from their unnatural positions. Whomever this Disha was, she was not a warrior. Looking at her unconscious form, Taketori took the burlap sack Atsuko threw at him and stuffed her in, poking an air hole while he was there. He slung Disha over his left shoulder. As the young researcher who had stayed behind was helping Atsuko sort through files to take, Taketori's interest wandered back to the pack of material that had been emptied into the minecart and caused the green spark. He looked among the other bodies of the guards they had taken out for any other packs, as well as pieces of armor to create some make-shift armor. Piece-meal, of course. He did not need too many pieces, he just knew of a few martial arts styles that required armor to learn. Any wealth he came across while searching through the bodies, be it anything from some ryo to a golden tooth or jewelry, Taketori would take. He'd say a quick prayer for each one he passed, but the dead had no need of such material belongings. It was better served with the living.
Once he found enough un-damaged pieces of armor to salvage and perhaps a pack or two of the anti-chakra device from the guards, he'd rejoin Atsuko and prepare to finally depart these tunnels, body laden with scavenged loot, equipment, and of course their prisoner.
First Class: Bloodline ____Discipline → Thoroughbred: Your maximum chakra pool and maximum stamina pool are both increased by {10} points, and you receive an additional {05} points to each pool whenever you rank up. Additionally, when you perform bloodline techniques above Rank D, you are refunded {05} chakra or {05} stamina, depending on which energy was used. ( If chakra was used, you recover chakra; if stamina was used, you recover stamina; if both were used, you recover both. ) Second Class: Taijutsu ____Discipline → Berserker: Your external training and devotion to taijutsu has allowed you to have moderately increased Strength and Fortitude, making attacks overwhelm physical taijutsu techniques of the same rank or lower. Additionally, your hardened body allows you to utilize your physical taijutsu techniques to negate ninjutsu techniques of the same rank or below.
The great volume of papers gathered seemed to be primarily ledgers and bureaucratic documents that were too dry to sift through unless someone was really dedicated, but there were a few items of interest among all that. Unfortunately, those items were in code, but they included the contents of Disha's wastebin, some more medical logs, and various communications. The guards had next to nothing in the way of salvageable technology, but there would be a few pieces of serviceable light and medium armor. A few of them also wore dog tags from some of the minor hidden villages, but more still were unmarked save for tattoos on their chests and backs. There were plenty of kunai and senbon lying about the area, enough so that picking up 50 of each wouldn't be too far-fetched. There was surprisingly little jewelry to go around, with a few of the guards sporting polished iron rings and small silver earrings. Many sported small daggers and clubs, and the ones with the tattoos each had a katana marked with the Shinjiro brand somewhere on their person.
((Go team! Mission clear. Some last coded messages inbound, along with one that I messed up last time.))
Artemis couldn't muster the will power to do much. She was sitting cross legged, part of her thigh in contact with the snow summoned by Shalamoana. Since she last saw Zetsu at the surface, she had not moved. Her leg was definitely cold, her pants partway soaked with the slowly melting snow, and she couldn't even feel the numbness the cold offered her. Her face was blank. She would only appear to be alive if one stared long enough to see her inhale, hold it, and exhale. There was a restlessness that slept in her lack of motion, a tiredness that could make someone's bones ache just by glancing at her. The researchers, despite all that they'd been through, despite all of their questions about their liberators, would not bother to ask them to her.
She could not experience the time passing by. One moment, Houou. Another, Atsuko. In one heartbeat, Zetsu was with her outside. In another, he was back inside where the rest of her family was. Where Houou would always be. A voice long in the back of her head cried out to gather the ashes of him and spread them along the base, let them foster a garden and house some vibrant life like Houou always had himself, by breathing and laughing and loving.
She sat, blank stare and still, simultaneously hyper aware and completely oblivious to any sounds of warfare that might have echoed through the tunnels and to the outside, where she was waiting. Her team would either arrive, or they wouldn't.

Atsuko moved to Artemis, he could see plastered on her face just how much pain she was in. He to felt that pain but he was putting on the bravest face he could for her. They could morn, but first they had to get out of here. Offering a hand he'd help her up, eye's baring sympathy but also a necessity to move.
Once Artemis was gathered the entire group would exit the tunnels, hopefully not having to return anytime soon.
