Clones, everyone loved to use clones. Well if that was how it was going to be, but first there was the gust of wind to deal with, Knives jumped and got low as he could into the ground to minimize the effects, rocks still smacked him around but his armor and the sand shield was able to help as well, he still didn't understand how that was happening, the fences where he had just stood would be pretty much removed from the effects of the great wind. Knives would get to his knees in time to catch Shito rushing forward with a dagger at him. Once again, reach would be to his advantage dagger against his sword. He quickly drew his blade to parry the dagger to the side and kick Shito in a directly just enough to miss Knives and continue running towards where the fence would have been.

The clones would take the brunt of the damage from the wind as they were in front of Knives when he dove to the ground. At least for now, that was one less thing to worry about for now as he got back to his feet readying himself blade drawn looking at Shito with a grin.

With out his opponent knoticing, Shito was able to exhale his wind chakra on to his dagger making it longer and sharper. So when his opponent parried his dagger it was able to break his opponents sword. (idk how strong your sword is) Shito was still pushed back though and when he landed and stopped, he held his chest. "I can't believe that missed you." Shito said as he was catching his breath. "Are you getting tired there?"

"Oh nicely done, very nicely done. Normally that would have broke a blade, but you see this is a very special blade from one of my village's greatest sword makers." He smiled enjoying one of the best fights he had had since Rouran.

"How tired am I? Oh not too much, but you seem to have enjoyed that beating from earlier" he chuckled before quickly throwing one of his own knives at his opponent as a feint, with the knife lose Ken would build chakra in his now free hand move on his opponent, moving in low to jab his leg with the chakra filled hand. His sword slashing to keep his opponent off balance.

Shito quickly dodged the thrown knife and watched as his opponent built up chakra. Once his opponent was close enough, Shito quickly used body flicker and managed to get behind his opponent. Shito formed two wind chakra spheres, one in each hand. Shito threw both of them straight at his opponent followed right behind with a couple shuriken and one kuni with a smoke bomb attached to it. Shito hoped that his attack would finally have an effect on his opponent.

Knives would chuckle as his opponent body flickered and he landed where his opponent had been and noticed the wind spheres he would attempt to roll to avoid direct impact, but the blasts would still rattle him some as smoke would also fill the area from the smoke bomb. He coughed a bit before gathering himself and sensed where his opponent was sending burning leaves to interrupt his sight and then sending one last knife punt at his opponent's upper legs, while his eyes were irritated from the burning leaves.

It was at this moment he was grateful for the sand shield of the demon they had placed inside him. He also chuckled at his opponent, who was a good fighter and if he had would he would be glad to fight along side this opponent.

Shito reacted fast, he creates a large gust of air pressure sending it flying right for his opponent again. Shito was able to use his jutsu just before the burning leaves got to him. so the burning leaves and the knife would be sent right back to his opponent. Shito was surprised that with his two huge attacks that he never hit his opponents dummy. Shito then threw two kuni for his opponents legs. Shito took out ten shuriken, five in each hand, and exhaled his chakra on to them. Shito jumped up seemingly at the same time as he exhaled, and threw them at his opponent at the same time.

Once Shito finished his attack, he thought to himself, 'This is a really strong genin. He has a lot larger chakra amount then other genins I've seen. He is certainly one I would want by my side in the future. Shito took a fair number of steps back and held his chest. He was in a huge amount of pain from this battle.

The sky rumbled. All active Ninjutsu froze in the air, and then disappeared. Projectiles and weapons would fall to the ground as if they suddenly weighed a ton, but the effect was temporary and they would soon lighten. The reasoning behind this event was soon clear: the judge, a middle-aged man with a thin goatee, stepped out of nowhere and cleared his throat.

"The time limit has been reached," he spoke loudly. "Neither dummy has been hit, but a winner must be decided."

His eyes glazed over for a moment before he delivered the ruling:

"It was a close match, but the gentleman from the Sand will be advancing to the next round."

With this, he disappeared once more. The two Shinobi were free to return to the waiting area for rest, recuperation, a hot meal, and healing if they needed it.
