[ Round 1 ] Bowling Alley: [Winner: Kamiya]

[Ergo War]

An old site for recreation, now in disrepair. Despite the passage of time, though, the wooden bowling lanes are still smooth and clear. A few bowling balls are strewn about the floor, but shoes are nowhere to be found. Aside from the occasional column, the arena is very open, though the ceiling does not permit much jumping.

As Chokichi entered the battlefield, he looked around for his opponent. Not seeing him, he decided to put the odds in his favor. Sitting his dummy down he made several hands signs and focused his chakra. "Kiri Shikaku no Jutsu... Kirigakure no Jutsu" The room suddenly became filled with dense fog. No one except Chokichi would be able to see now.

Kamiya walked in and was directed to place his dummy down. his blindfold helped his other senses pick up the subtleties around him and he could tell from the echos that the room was open but with a low cieling. this would bode in his favour he hoped though he didn't know the strengths of his opponent and that could be troublesome. he did feel a bit of a mist on his face and thought it odd but didn't attribute it much as it wasn't overly hindering him at present. he could hear the sound of breathing somewhere though he couldn't immediately tell where it was. he needed to attune himself to his surroundings to be able to pinpoint details.
"hello fellow genin. i do hope you are ready to enjoy this."
he said with a slight undertone of ego. he would remain in a lose stance where he would easilly be able to perform whatever he deemed needed to be done.

When Chokichi's opponent entered the battlefield he performed another set of hand signs. This time he activated Shihouhapou. "Hello, it's nice to meet you. I'm going to try my best as long as you do too..." said the teen as excited as ever. His voice would come from all directions making it hard to pinpoint his exact location. "What village are you from?" The teen then used Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu and created three water clones. Two of the clones began silently moving to get on both sides of the ninja. The third one stayed in front of Chokichi just in case.

Official Description: Creates one or multiple identical copies of the original out of water. More similar to Kage Bunshin then a regular Bunshin, water clones are capable of attacking, except each clone is roughly 1/10 the power of the original. The water clone can perform one Jutsu that the user also knows once. It must be a water elemental Jutsu. One solid hit will destroy the clone. This is stronger than the Maruton version.

Kamiya was not enjoying the fact that it sounded like he was having to face a lot of clones. to him it seemed to be the only explanation for the exess amount of vocal distorion from various points in the room. this ment that he would need to focus on trying to defend against as many people as possible.
"I should think that if you have already begun to surround me my village is not important anymore. i do say however. you certainly seem like a fine person so i'll warn you now. back away now. you dont want to be hurt."
Kamiya announced not expecting that the other genin would in fact back off. kamiya however was not planning on causing light of this situation. the genin had done nothing wrong as far as Kamiya could tell and as such he did not wish to bring evil upon the poor boy.

Both of the water clones made hand signs and water formed in their hand. The water then formed into a whip. The clone proceed to swung the whip at the genin, hoping to grab one of his limbs. "I'm not afraid to get hurt... If I was afraid to get hurt I wouldn't have signed up for the Chuunin Exams or I would have already forfeited. Am I wrong?" The third clone grabbed a kunai from its pocket and threw it at the genin. The kunai had an exploding tag on it so that when it drew close to the genin it would in mid air sending him flying backwards and probably hitting the dummy.

Kamiya bent back anticipating the whip's target and let the whip snap in front of him. then he would seemingly be struck by the explosion which would have knocked him back. however instead he appeared directly behind the genin having swapped places with the other genin's dummy. this switch would be done while the explosion was still around and as such would make realizing what had happened a very delayed realization. without hesitation and not letting a single moment slip he would strike out at the closest target which would be the real genin. he would aim a roaring iron finger for the center of the boy's back along the spine. this sudden attack would mean a limited range of options for defence as there would be a large amount of surprise involved. also the opponent's dummy would be struck by the explosion and be sent back instead of Kamiya however he had positioned himself before the explosion so that when he'd made the switch the dummy would simply be blown to the ground instead of into Kamiya's dummy.

One of the water clones noticed something was off and signaled Chokichi. When Chokichi's dummy was put in the way of the explosion, it quickly used the Substitution Technique to switch places with the dummy, taking the hit of the explosion. The clone then turned back to water. Noticing the signal, Chokichi knew that the genin would try and get close to him. He used the Substitution Technique to switch with his other water clone across the battlefield. The water clone would take the hit to the spine and sent falling forward. Then it turned back to water. The determined teen then ran to grab his dummy, putting it under his arm, and performing another string of hand signs. Damn I knew I should have learned more useful techniques.

Kamiya noticed the substitution just as he was hitting and wished he had realised that might happen. he could hear the genin moving around from everywhere around him. however he knew where the dummy had ended up and would run towards it. he kept his arms ready to counter an attack if needed. once he would reach where the dummy was the dummy would have been picked up as he could hear and so he tried to place himself between his opponent and his own dummy.

After Chokichi performed a string of hand signs, four water clones appeared around the battle field. All the same time, all the clones reached in their pockets and pulled out six kunai each. When Chokichi gave the signal, all the clones throw their kunai at the blind genin.

While the weapon were being thrown, Tobidougu Soujuu no Jutsu was used allowing the teen to control all the weapon with the wind. He had twelve of them aim for the opponent from every direction. If he were to try and dodge, he might have ended up getting hit by a few of them. The other twelve would aim of the genin's dummy.

as soon as Kamiya saw the clones being made he knew he'd be attacked and likely so would the dummy. he threw down smoke bombs to cover his movements and ran to the dummy and moved it. the smoke screen would cover floor to ceiling and would prevent the kunai from being placed properly which meant that they also wouldn't be able to be manipulated properly as the target wouldn't be visible. while in the smoke Kamiya would make 3 clones using the illusion clone technique and then would throw 4 kunai at the clones and then would charge out with the clones surrounding the genin and would then simultaneously charge the boy and use the dragon fang technique to knock him into the air. however two would seem to go for the dummy that was still being held. neither of the two going for the dummy however were in fact Kamiya but the genin wouldn't know this.

As soon as the genin pulled out the smoke bombs and threw them to the ground, Chokichi quickly cancel the Projectile Control Technique and made them all fall on the ground. Knowing he was going to be attacked soon, he used the Substitution Technique to switch places with one of his water clones. After switching places with his clone, he was unable to see what was going on. Suddenly he attacked in the chest by a kunai and fell to the ground, but he didn't stop there. What the hell!? He started making more handsigns as he tried to get up from the ground. Inhaling deeply, Chokichi messed his chakra with the air. As he exhaled, a powerful stream of wind was sent from his mouth into the direction of where he was last standing, which is where the genin is. I CAN"T LOSE! NOT HERE!

Kamiya having successfully struck the clone found it would simply fall apart as water after taking the hit. realizing this he would leap back towards where he'd come from and throw down a few more smoke bombs part of which would get blown away by the wind technique used by the genin. based on the movement of the smoke along with the destruction of his clones. he would have a rough estimate of where the genin was and would send a volley of 5 kunai spread as a fan in the boy's direction. hitting the genin or the dummy didn't matter to him. he then quickly entered bokuho to ensure he could easily maneuver himself when needed.

Chokichi quickly made several more hands signs. This time it only took him a few seconds to do it because he was no longer trying to waste time. Three water clones formed in front of the teen, but one of them got hit by the kunai that the genin threw. Turning it of them back into water. With two clones left, they moved in front of the teen and performed a string of hand signs. As they finished the hand signs, the clones blow out a jet of water from their mouth. The jutsu was supposed to be used as a barrier for incoming attacks, but the clones used it to fill the building with water. This would push the genin back, he would be unable to get to the teen even if he wanted to. Chokichi then performed a string of handsigns, not wasting any time. His chakra released into the air and the winds began to form a ball in his hand. He jumped up above the water walls and threw the ball at the dummy and the genin. The ball would explode and cut them multiple times.

Kamiya was not expecting the genin to attempt to flood the building. using the tree walking technique he leaped to the ceiling and clung to it then ran to grab his dummy before it could get damaged. he would then use his back to take the two wind explosions sending pain through his system and causing a slight pause before he threw more kunai towards the genin forcing him to either take it or drop below the water wall. he then ran towards him at full speed. he would then aim to destroy both the clones that were flooding the room so there wouldn't be more water. and at the same time he threw two more kunai at the genin both aimed at the dummy. he was begining to become frustrated as his back bled forth but knowing that the other genin had taken a kunai to the chest ment that the other genin would be in about the same pain as he. just as the kunai left his hands he would step into a strong stance and as the ceiling wasn't very far from the ground he would be in range of a melee strike at the boy by now. striking out quickly with his free hand he grimaced in pain as his roaring iron finger technique shot forth aiming for the escape route of the genin should he wish to protect his dummy. by twisting his body for more power he would be able to also protect his dummy by showing only his body to the opponent.
