The droid looks at his opponent and then looks up at the control booth where his controller is. He notices his master's eyes widen as he watches his mistress slash away at his body. He swerves back to avoid the blow and begins thinking this may be a test to see to whom the droids are more loyal to, so he uses a bit of Force-Lightning on his mistress.

Taking note of his master's anger with the mistress, the droid feels it's taking the correct action by attempting to sever the headphones.
