Due to a contract between her family and , Willow often works with Ren and to hunt down and capture or destroy craftier and more well hidden monsters. She also serves a lesser known purpose, which is to be the conscience of the group and to keep the others from going too far off the moral deep end.

Sable is Ren's fiancée, and honestly a bit of an anomaly in the sense that she seems to be just another ordinary woman with no real knowledge of what lurks in the dark. The woman lives her life day to day, barely scraping by with the money she makes from selling her art - which means her drawings - online. She tries to keep her head down and out of notice, which is pretty much the best thing to do if you live in Las Muertas and can't affort several bodyguards, but somehow always seems to attract trouble wherever she goes - and not always just from the local criminals. Is there more to her than meets the eye? Or is she just a genuinely unfortunate lady with bad taste in potential homes?----

Introduction
Humans like to think that they are atop the food chain, that they are in control of both themselves and the enviornment that surrounds them. They've long forgotten that they are not alone in the world, that there are far nastier things hiding in the shadows. Nasty things that are just waiting until you're vulnerable and alone, ready and ripe for consumption. Well, most humans anyway. A select few are vaguely aware of what goes bump in the night. Fewer still of those individuals actively fight back against that which preys on humanity, fighting and rightfully fearing the unknown.

The story takes place in a fictional city known as Los Muertas, a mixing pot of cultures, ideals, and lifestyles. That does not mean that it is a decent, let alone good place to live whatsoever. Las Muertas is notorious for it's incredibly high crime rate, expensive prices, and its corruption. (Think what sort of place you'd get if Las Vegas and Holliwood had a dumpster baby, but with New York styled buildings.) The main attractions are the night clubs, casinos, and fancy resturaunts - but most people tend to focus on the former two. Prostitution is extremely common in these parts, and drugs are pretty easy to get one's hands on for the most part. And, as was implied in the paragraph above, there are ******** monsters hiding in the shadows just ready to strike. The best part is that they're all masquerading as humans, and that you never know who is a genuinely clueless mortal and who's a bloodthirsty beast who wants to rip out your intestines and eat your spleen. (Or, for the sake of fairness, who's not human but still relatively uninterested in yo' stanky a**.) |

Rules
Common Courtesy
Everyone in this roleplay is expected to be respectful of one another. This means several things. For example, if one has an OOC disagreement with a fellow roleplayer that cannot be immediately solved or dropped under any circumstances, the dispute should be handled PRIVATELY and not in thread. Another expectation that's being umbrella'd under this rule is that everyone will roleplay responsibly and avoid any unnecessary godmodding or cybering in-thread. The former pisses everyone off and is an easy way to get banned, and the latter is best taken to the PMs lest one also wishes to be banned. Be nice, realize that how one character treats your character in RP has nothing to do with how the RPer actually percieves you, my word is law, and blah blah blah blah you get the point.

Also, don't spoiler any important lore or main storyline twists without my explicit consent. It might seem stupid, but this is also grounds for getting one's a** permabanned from this thread.

Yes, monsters exist. Yes, monster hunters and psychics and all that s**t also exist. No, not everyone is going to know who's what or how certain factions work. People playing average citizens aren't going to be immediately told what species of monster are currently written of or how magic and things like that work. People playing monsters might be told how a couple of species work or the basics of "underworld" politics, but they'll know nothing of how the monster hunters are organized or their goals. Anyway, the point is that certain information will be kept from roleplayers unless they are playing a role in which that knowledge would be relevant to. If you are playing more than one role and your characters are of opposing factions, it is fully expected that you will handle that knowledge responsibly and not use it to godmod or spoil others on information that I haven't approved of being publicly revealed at that given moment. Speaking of which, if a given character is a psychic or a monster it is expected that he or she will hide their true identity. Vague hints as to their true nature may be shown, but it is required that they be written with the illusion that they are a "regular" human. In other words, you'll be tricking your fellow roleplayers into thinking you're a normal human if you can. You might be ousted later on in RP, but that's how things start.

Factions
Due to the deceitful nature of many factions, it is required that anyone who wishes to be a monster or the like PM me and discuss with me how things will work. If you want to be a species of monster I have already written information on, I will give you everything you need to know on that sort of monster and let you make your profile. If you want to be a species of monster I have nothing written for, you can either plan it out with me, let me write it, or I can give you important information on how monters and magic work and let you write the species info out yourself.
The only people who won't be required to hide their affiliation will be Monster Hunters and Civillians, although the former aren't to spoil the secrets of their faction in thread until I say so and the latter are highly encouraged to make their humanity ambiguous if at all possible. (And by that I mean make your character act suspiciously, so no one knows for certain who is a creepy crawly and who isn't.) If you are at all confused about something or need help, feel free to let me know and we can discuss it via PMs.
If you do not discuss with me your ideas/plans for your character's faction beforehand, I will assume that they are an ordinary human. If you don't want to be an ordinary human, TALK WITH ME FIRST. It's not that hard to do, I promise. I don't bite. Unless you want me to, that is...

Profiles
All profiles are to be PM'd to me, Animeprincess_9400. The title/topic should not be blank or have anything to do with Creepy Crawlies. Instead, you should highlight this sentences so you can see that the topic/title of the PM should have something to do with the seven deadly sins.
When sending in a profile, after discussing your plans and the faction you want with me via PM, you should only use the profile template that I have provided. It is expected that you will fill in all the information asked, and that you will not bold the entire thing or forget to pick a color. If you don't know how to change the color of your text or how to URL an image if you are using one instead of a detailed description, tell me so I can show you how. Sloppy profiles that have my code messed with incorrectly will be sent back until they are fixed.
Filling in the information shouldn't be hard, because most of the sections that need filling in do not require complete sentences by any means. The most you will have to write is three or four sentences (probably vaguely) describing your character's personality, interests, ect. - which is all in one convenient section.

<To put it simply, Justice is a very serious woman who happens to be quite the workaholic. She's dedicated and persistant in anything and everything she sets her mind to - which can come across as single minded obsession to some. In fact, she has absolutely no tolerance for distractions or tomfoolery when there is work to be done. This gets even worse when one keeps in mind her complete inability to sugarcoat things. As harsh as she can be, though, she isn't a completely dislikeable person. Justice often donates her spare funds to various charities, and is in fact far less hateful towards nonhumans than her brother is. She has this strange philosophy that all have a time in their life in which they can be redeemed - their prey have just simply passed that point of no return. She has no dillusions about what she does being "right" - but she isn't so naive to think that it isn't necessary either. So I suppose all this boils down to Justice being a very taciturn woman with a good head on her shoulders but would probably benefit from relaxing a bit more.>
<Distractions, Distractions, Distractions. Justice does not like her coworkers or teammates getting distracted by something trivial or too unrelated to the task at hand. As a result of this mentality, she's grown to hate Sable quite a bit due to the effect she seems to have on Ren. She holds no pity for the majority of the monsters she hunts, as she wouldn't be after them if they weren't attacking someone or actually trying to properly integrate into human society. Laziness angers Justice to no end, as does the thought of a monster - or any unjustified criminal really - getting away with their crimes.>
