NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!
1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!

Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to make ANOTHER rp to try again!

It was a flier that had been around the campus while he was familiarizing himself with the environment here. It was advertising for 'First Aid', a useful skill among students to have, especially a survivalist such as himself. The flier had stated that the class was called 'First Aid 101' and was being taught by an authority figure known as 'Professor Cricket'. If this was anything like the field class with authority figure Moira at the junkyard, there would be other students there and would certainly be eventful. Though, that would be putting it mildly. Taking the flier, the hellhound demon made his way with the directions to the classroom.

He stared at it as he went.

"Where's..." He stood at the middle of a crossroads and could see the dormitories and other buildings. He hadn't the faintest idea. Looking at the paper, he let his own instinct take him along.

Opening the door, he noticed that the authority figure was present and she all but smiled. Inviting him to take a seat to begin the class.

He sat alone. His large arms crossed his chest as he watched the authority figure speak.

"A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it."

Exactly as the flier had said. Looking down at the table, he noticed a white drape over an object on the table. With a swift jerk, the drape flew aside to reveal the mentioned dummy. The x stitched over the placement of the eyes were comical at least. The teacher had given the instructions and wrote a list of possible ailments that the dummies could be afflicted with. He was certain that he could deal with most of them, at the very least in the minimalist of ways. To be certain, he checked around the desk to make sure he had some essential materials he figured he would need for this class.

Looking around the room, he noted that the authority figure had set aside areas of bandages and jars of ointment and other medical supplies, Uru felt that if he needed anything it was present in the room in order to carry out most of the treatments he could call to mind. Then again, he had to think further than wrapping an arm between two pieces of would, using vines and mud... here was more sophisticated with bandages, castes, ointment, and a skeletal model hanging by a medal stand.

He kinda wondered if undead students found that comical or offensive...

Fever.

From what he recalled, it was the body's response to foreign bacterial in the body. However, Undead and Ghosts are usually unaffected by the ailment as bacteria are normally in one and the other is voided of it. However, those with blood pumping through their veins, their bodies respond in a way out of defense. Similar how the body works to burn calories thus heating the body, the body does a similar effect where the body heats up in order to kill or hinder the bacteria within it. If what the authority figure said was true then this dummy would have similar symptoms and he would have to act as such. However, growing up, he learned that a fever was a good thing, not necessarily a bad one. The downsides were dehydration, headaches, and pains... but those were treated with herbs and medications and water. Was he suppose to do the same things here?...

The hellhound stood from his seat, the chair pushed back with a sound of metal against the floor. Rolling up his sleeves, he took a cloth and soaked it in cool water. Ringing it dry, he placed it upon the dummy's forehead. With this, it should cool the head down, the most vulnerable place during a fever is the brain and thus regulating the temperature there should suffice for the moment.

Some medication such as pain relievers are necessary if the victim has significant discomfort or pains associated with the fever. If anything, it would help the groaning and whining.

Placing a cup of water nearby to signify that fluids is necessary. When the body heats up, the water in the body becomes sweat and is a part of the body's defense to keep itself cool. The water would help hydrate the body.

Uru stood back as he looked at the dummy. The body was resting on the table, a wet cloth upon it's forehead, water seeping into the material. A bottle of medication (well, there wasn't anything in it) placed nearby as well as a cup of water. He believed he did what was sufficient enough, but he felt like that was too easy...

Removing the medication, he was sure that if any student had a fever would man up and deal with the pain. He added an extra glass of water because being hydrated was uberly important. Next, he resoaked the towel and replaced it upon the forehead to make it more wet and more cool which is better than a slightly soaked rag.

Better.
