Also, he's dressed as a 20th century Japanese schoolboy uniform... But the problems isn't recognizing him, it's finding a tiny scared kid in what would still be miles of vents and such.

that's part of the transporter. You get beamed aboard and you can activate it if you don't want the person to go anywhere : P |
