Kay9214 SS2-SITH LORD Kay9214 SS2-SITH LORD Kay9214 Yep. Every last word. Including the last section. After the happy ending. >.< I liked the extra section. It was fitting. Did you read Wind through the keyhole? I don't think I have. I didn't like either ending. The ending was a little screw you dear reader, then the happy ending a big screw you dear reader, then the final ending was a hahahahah you just got trolled dear reader. xD Wind through the keyhole was just published last year. It takes place between books 4 and 5 i think. It's a pretty good side tale for the series. I think it fits in well. As for the ending. I think it had to end that way. I can't imagine any other ending. To me, him ascending the staircase of the tower was the real true fit ending. He was finally there and was able to reach the top. Those books were probably the best written books i've ever read. I also like how King places his characters in his other books. It is a real treat. He was there... And then he wasn't. You're talking about that closure of a definitive ending... Which with what happened next, there was most certainly not. O.o I loved the series. And I love the universe... The way the stories intertwine is great. The whole multiverse thing that weaves its way through. And how he basically made himself a reality god in the story, as a hapless frightened nobody, was pretty interesting. xD
Maybe King just didn't want his adventure to end. So he just hit the repeat button.
The Universe is great, The whole time aspect and how technology has gone backwards really makes you think. I remember reading Insomnia and the whole boiled down to saving one kid. And that kid had such an impact on The Dark Tower. |

Haha, the way the Crimson King is defeated his kinda anti-climactic, but it kinda speaks volumes that in the end, he's basically a sad old man trapped with a box of magic grenades.
Yeah, Insomnia was pretty good, even by itself.
Which book is it that the guy's supposedly being led around by some alien from the future to save people who are important from early deaths? Is that King, or am I getting these mixed up? |
