I think this is the right place to post this?
Tell me if I'm wrong!

Please, read it all...

Okay, so I have an English Bully. (Bull dog)
I've had him for about 2 years and I love him dearly.
Lately though, he's been in "dire condition".

See, English Bullies don't do very well in the heat because of their
smushed faces. Well, anyone in So-Cal right now would know it's been
about 100 degrees out all week.

A few days ago, our central air's compressor broke and it'll cost a couple
thousand to repair it. Seeing as how that's a lot of money, we've been
hesitant to call a repairman.

Plus, tomorrow, I'm going away for about a week to watch my grandma's
animals. My dog, literally, has panic attacks when I'm gone. And he won't
eat, sleep, he'll sit at the door and cry. Yesterday, I went out and when I
came back home, he could not get up because he was in distress. I got him
cooled off and calmed down...

Here's the big issue:

We have no air at my house and I will be leaving again.
This time, not for a few hours. He's going to be in a lot of distress.
My grandma said I could take him with me since she has air, BUT her
wiener dog constantly fights my Bully... I don't want any of them to get
hurt! I can't leave him home or he'll probably die, if I take him with me
there will be dog fights, if I take him with me and keep one dog in the
kitchen-- that dog will be in distress. My dog will want to sleep with me but
so will grandma's dogs!

(Her wiener dog get's panicky too.)

I don't know what to do. I'm terrified that my dog will end up with a heatstroke.

Any advice would be helpful.

Hmmm... sounds like a rough situation. Even though the dogs may fight, I would suggest taking your dog with you. (Unless you can have a trusted friend watch the dog?)

Something my mom told me she read about was that if you play some sort of noise for them when they're alone in a room (such as a radio playing music) they will feel more calm. Sooo... if you end up having to keep your dog in the kitchen, you could do that to keep it calm.

As for the sleeping problem, just shut the bedroom doors when you guys go to sleep with your dogs?

Or you could try sending it to one of those pet places that will watch your pets for a while when you are gone. I forget what they're called.

I Love Bad Puns

I'm more than likely to take him
with me, I couldn't let him keel over alone.

I never thought about the music thing? I'll try it when I bring him over...
I'm gonna try to see if they can get along, my dog gives warnings
when he's about to fight... Such a jealous dog. They're all finally
neutered so maybe they won't duke it out? If they start, one of them is going
behind the gate.

I was asked not to keep the dogs shut out because, like I said,
they get panicky. (Especially the wiener dog) So, idk if I should.
None of the animals like to be alone, asdfghjkl they're like babies.

Also, all my irl friends are out of the country for summer. ;n; Agh...

P.Ss- I thought you were gonna make a pun with the "rough day" bit.
Lol.

Oh. >.< Well for the music thing, it doesn't have to be loud. It's just like background noise so the dog doesn't feel alone. Hopefully it helps at least if worse comes to worse and a dog does have to be separated.

And if the dogs do fight... Hopefully your dog won't Bully them too much. cool sejkbhdkrdbkj Made a pun that time

Well, maybe just for your dog you can like... just have him in the room with you to sleep with you and just keep your door shut that way the other dogs aren't shut in. Then when you are up and awake, you can let him out/take him where he needs to go.

Ah! I didn't even think of a pun for that xD

Well, hopefully everything works out for you though.

It never told me I had a reply
;w;

Anyways, I left today and brought him with me.
He did Bully them. TROLOLOLOLOL
So, he's behind the gate-- throwing a hissy fit.

I've sort of figured out what I'm gonna be doing, for feeding so far.
I'll try to keep them apart since my dog is the one who's starting s**t.

Which I will be posting about in a rant on here after this reply
cool

Update #1

Okay, so, I finally left home and am at my grandma's house.
I did bring my dog with me, hoping they'd all get along.
(The air is still out at my place.)

Since my brother is on summer vacation, he wanted to go with me
and since there's no air at home, mom and dad joined us too.

Anyways, when we got here, Jeffe (my dog) ran up the driveway, smiling.
So, I let him in and all of my grandma's little terriers jumped on him. I thought
he was gonna get pissed and bite, but he was good! I was proud. ;w;

But then, as we were all sort of settling down, Jeffe started eyeing my
grandma's wiener dog, Toby. Toby has been GOOD the entire time!
He hasn't started anything, which he usually does... Well, Toby jumped off
the recliner chair onto the loveseat, where I was, and Jeffe LUNGED at him
from below. This was out of nowhere...

About 30 minutes later, Toby came back to the loveseat to sit with me. He
curled up at my side and sat on the leather arm.... Jeffe came out of nowhere
and tried biting him. (He only has like, 4 teeth?) Toby got up and started to
growl, so I grabbed his collar and clamped his mouth shut with my other hand.

(Stupid, but I would rather be bit than allow two animals to kill one another.)

Noah, my brother, grabbed Jeffe and pulled him away, but lost
grip of his collar. Jeffe came back at Toby and when I tried to pull Toby back,
I pulled his collar off. They started fighting but my brother and I broke them
up.

So, my mom made me put Toby behind the gate. It wasn't fair, but
it was better than letting them all duke it out. So, maybe 20 minutes go by
and nothing. Everything was fine. By now, my mom was sitting beside me
on the loveseat with Milly, another one of my grandma's dogs, on her leg.
(She had the reclining foot thing out, Milly was on that.)

Again, OUT OF NOWHERE, Jeffe ran up to Milly and tried to
bite her on her little fat leg. "Wtf are you doing?!"
So, at this point, I've had it with Jeffe starting s**t with these dogs.
They're all tea cup terriers and he's a 100lbs Bully. One of them is gonna
end up dead.

So, I made Noah pick Toby up and I locked Jeffe behind the gate.
Where he then proceeded to throw a hissy fit. He's huffin' and puffin',
pacing, making stinky face, just being a child. I would've sent him back
home but now he'll be ALONE in a hot house. He'll probably die.

Fml.

Ranty-rant-rant
I am done. Officially. When the two damn dogs started fighting,
Mom said they'll just work it out. Wtf? They're not people, they're
not gonna shake hands and hug it out.
I can't believe someone could
be that stupid. They're not gonna be friends. And, omg, she just sat there
when they fought again. (When I pulled Toby's collar off) Um, hello?
Did you not see the teeth on that wieney dog? You could carve a <******** pumpkin with those fangs. I'm responsible for these animals
and you're trying to force me to keep them together? Go home.

And another thing, Noah. 2 Hours to dinner, you don't need to
be eating. And you definitely don't need to give me attitude when I tell
you that it's nearly dinner time. I'll drive your spoiled a** home.
Better yet, you can walk in the heat since that's all you've been complaining
about.

"Turn the air down lower!"
THERE'S A NOTE ON THE BOX THAT SAYS DON'T GO BELOW
75! BE GLAD I TURNED IT TO 68! B(

Stop making a ******** mess in the kitchen too.

Geez.

Update #2

Okay, so, after we had all the dogs separated and my dog, Jeffe
was behind the gate he threw a hissy fit. Literally. He started foaming
at the mouth and out his nose, he was breathing heavily and wouldn't move.

It pissed everyone off. Basically, the dog nearly killed himself because
he was somewhere else.

I know I probably sound like an a*****e, but I've had a long night
and don't have anymore patience to pretend to be nice.

( I will get to this in a moment.)

He got so worked up that my dad had to carry him to the car. He
would not move and kept trying to roll on his side when we did.
I told my parents that I don't want my stupid dog dying here, so they
took him home.

No more drama with the animals, right?

Rant:

I was extremely tired after the ordeal with Jeffe, I just wanted
to relax a little. But, no. When I went to bed, I slept in my grandma's room,
all the dogs came with me. All 6 of them. The best part is
that half of them are too fat or too small to jump up on the bed. So, they
would sit by the bed and growl, whine, bark, until I picked them up.
THERE IS A FRIGGIN DOGGY STAIR RIGHT ON THE END OF THE
BED THAT THEY DO KNOW HOW TO USE. Even better, they
kept jumping off the bed every 20 minutes to run down the hallway barking.
Then, they'd come back and sit by the bed and b***h. OMFG.
I gave up on sleep at 3AM. I'm so goddamn tired and angry.
I'm just like,"I hate these dogs. I'm going to eat them. I'm going to
eat them because I hate them."

My mom thinks I'm kidding too.
I swear to whatever God there may be, when Noah gets up, I'm
keeping the doggy gate up and he can watch these little monsters.
