The story of Eyan starts out in the misty village of Kirigakure. Born from two parents he still doesn't know the names of, Eyan was always a weird child. Though he had blue hair, he seemed more of a blonde to everyone else. And yet he somehow got past the academy. The truth is, they didn't even plan on him becoming a shinobi. They both owned a restaurant and thought he'd join in the family business, but he instead joined the academy after he saw the flashy techniques the kids were learning.
Unfortunately, after enrollment, Eyan found that being a shinobi wasn't all about flashy moves and explosive techniques. There were tests. And lectures. And long hours of studying. And reading! Half the time Eyan was either asleep or zoned out. Still, after numerous punishments and wake up smacks, he gained some basic knowledge of the shinobi world. Knowledge that he'd never use in the future- or at least not purposely.
But there was one thing Eyan payed attention to and excelled at. It was field testing. Since Eyan liked to learn by doing, he found excitement with the flashy ninjutsu and especially the combat assessments. Unfortunately, Eyan was only good with his hands. When he was given a weapon, it was like his body told him to fail. That's why he hated every time he was given a kunai or a shuriken and told to throw. It's thanks to this hatred that he came to hate weapons altogether, only carrying one for emergencies.
Now as you can imagine, it took more than flashy techniques and taijutsu to become a ninja. Things like stealth and deception weren't completely foreign to Eyan, but when it came to planning and anything involving literacy, his brain just shut off. Yet somehow, Eyan managed to graduate with his limited skills.
