About Married Pae'il
Married Pae'il may only breed with each other. Marriage is a serious decision for a Pae'il to make. Binding one's soul to another is neither easy, nor a matter to be taken lightly. While this bond may be broken if deemed necessary, it does hold risk for the Pae'il whose souls were before so entwined. Pae'il may only be married, or soul-bound, three times in their life (barring extenuating circumstances - must be cleared by shop staff). After that, the soul is too damaged from breaking the previous bonds to be bound to another. As their bond grows, married Pae'il may begin to notice that their connection deepens, allowing one to sense when the other is in danger, or afraid, as well as the general direction their beloved lies, when the two are far apart. Married Pae'il may also experience a slight power boost to their natural magics, as well as the ability to 'share' both powers and energy. More on this below. Marriage traditions can vary from faction to faction, and the types within that faction as well. Please refer to the specific information thread for that faction/race to learn about specific marriage traditions as they may or may not apply to your Pae'il. If, for whatever reason, your Pae'il may not be able to complete the ritual for any particular faction/race, then the deity Hymnaios is available for non-denominational 'Vegas-style' weddings. At the end of the day, the two Pae'il's souls are bound to the other in devotion, and are considered no more or less 'valid' a marriage than any other. Being married doesn't mean that there's nothing new to experience for the two Pae'il. Relationships should be always growing and deepening. Perhaps, the future yet holds new challenges never before seen for the couple...

Soulbound Pae'il Benefits
Married Pae'il may sacrifice their own energy to fuel their partner's unique abilities, giving them a powerful boost. For example, say a Pae'il can create a barrier. Their spouse can add their own energy to the first's, allowing them to create a larger, stronger barrier that could be maintained for longer. This is only a basic example. When married, each Pae'il gains a secondary, lesser ability connected to their partner's unique skills. This ability will generally be shop assigned at the time of the marriage, but if a couple has a unique, fun idea for their Pae, they are welcome to suggest it via PM to the shop mule before the wedding takes place officially. These benefits are obviously only for active Pae'il with unique powers. If a Pae'il does not have a unique ability, then clearly, it cannot be shared or boosted.
