So, a couple of weeks ago my crush confessed to me.
And I told him I felt the same way. He looked pretty happy when I told him.
But we didn't really start going out after that. I was going crazy cause he suddenly stopped talking to me a few days after. I thought he was avoiding me.
But I worried over nothing because he suddenly texted me saying he was in Hawaii right now. I was so happy when I found out he wasn't avoiding me.

A week after that--while he's still in Hawaii--he texted me and asked if I wanted to go out with him. I couldn't contain my happiness at all. I agreed to it but two days after that, he told me he was drunk when he asked me. He said, "I'm sorry, I like you, but I don't think I should be in a relationship."

Sooo much burn. I felt so embarrassed for getting all happy over him asking me out like that. Should I just get over it?

You have every right to be upset.
I don't know how to empathize here, because I haven't been a situation like
this, so my advice is probably s**t.

If it were me, I would look for a way to forget about this.
After all that, he doesn't deserve you being upset over him.

I agree with Brommiel on this one. I've never been in that boat but I think you should move past it. I know it burned but obviously he doesn't feel entirely the same way as you do and you should find somebody who will and want to partake in a relationship. Drunk texting isn't really a good excuse in my book.

That doesn't make sense at all o.o he confessed to you and then you confessed to him and now he's not wanting to be in a relationship? Not sure what exactly to make of that either.

It's understandable to feel embarrassed and upset.

If I were in your shoes I would probably think, "What a jerk!" and do my best to move on.

It's your choice on what to do, and we can't decide that for you.

Ouch! That really sucks.
You have every right to feel upset.
I would say its better if you move one.
He isn't worth it if he is going to use the drunk card as an excuse. :/
I'm really sorry this had happen to you.
But look at the bright side of this, at least you can learn from it. Don't take what guys say or ask seriously and actually question them about it. and hey! be glad that you confessed your feelings towards him, I know for a fact that takes some serious guts. Believe me... I regret not confessing to middle school crush that I had for nearly 3 years...
