Thine Hollow Kingdom... ((Me & Russian Heartless Fox))

There exists a legend in the country of Stonehelm, a legend as old as time itself.
The legend has been told for many generations now, but, the legend may be more real than what people believe. he legend is this:

"On an dark and stormy night, a coronation was held to crown the new king. The prince, Zarin, was 18 at the time. Everyone loved the prince and were overfilled with joy at the sight of his coronation. But, tonight was not like any other night. The three neighboring kingdoms formed a secret alliance to vanquish the prince and king during the coronation. As the coronation began, a group of assassins invaded the throne room, where the coronation was being held. Everyone was slaughtered before his very eyes. Tears streamed down his face as he watched this horrendous scene play out before him. Then, the assassins came toward him. After witnessing such an event, it is no surprised that he finally snapped. He killed the group of assassins and in his fit of uncontrollable rage, destroyed the three neighboring kingdoms. Ever since then, he stopped aging and is forever 18 years old. He is now known as the Hollow King, siting upon his throne made of the bones of his enemies, in his castle, surrounded by the graves of the 1500 people who were killed."

Little do people know that the legend is true. Though, the believers are long dead. Now, its just a tale to frighten little childern who misbehave.

It is now present day and a new tradition has begun at a certain highschool. Every 16 years or so, a incoming freshman, is dared to spend the night within the Hollow King's castle. To prove they did so, the must bring back something from the castle. _____ just happens to be that unlucky freshman. You see, she doesn't mind the castle or anything like that, but she doesn't believe that Zarin is still alive. Though, will her mind change when she actually meets Zarin himself?

The Hollow King himself, Zarin hasn't left the castle in ages, yet he is contempt with that. He knows how the teenagers do the so called tradition and how they steal his stuff. Yet, he doesn't care. Though, on _____'s night, he catches her. What will happen now?

Unlike the others who would be scared and skeptical, she gladly accepted the challenge. However, on the night Lilynette goes into the castle she has no idea she is about to run into the Hollow King himself.

It was a dark and stormy night, just like all those years ago. Zarin, the Hollow King, sat upon his throne of bones in the throne room. He sighed to himself and got up from the throne. The torches throughout the castle were casting shadows on the walls. Little did Zarin know, he was about to get an unwanted guest.

Lilynette arrived at the castle looking up at it for a moment, it was dark and gloomy looking but she was not discouraged. She walked into the castle and pulled the flashlight from her pocket turning it on before she pulled down her hood. She looked around a bit shinning the flashlight before she noticed light coming from one of the halls. "Someone....is already here?" she thought as she walked towards the light, just thinking it was going to be one of her classmates there to scare her. Lilynette stopped once she saw the shadow of a man bigger than her and was probably a senior, she pressed herself against the wall and turned off the flashlight wanting to see if she could get the jump on the mystery person before they could get the jump on her.

Lilynette arrived at the castle looking up at it for a moment, it was dark and gloomy looking but she was not discouraged. As Zarin walked out of the throne room, he noticed a brief flash of light. That didn't look like lightning. As he walked toward the source, he didn't notice that he walked past Lilynette. He stopped and couple of feet away from her, looking around.

Lilynette smiled a bit seeing the figure come up and walk past her. Once he was past her she went behind him and turned on the flashlight. "Boo!" she yelled out, not to loud but loud enough to echo through the house. From behind the male seemed the height of a senior nothing really stood out about him. Lilynette stood behind him placing a hand on her hip, "Honestly, trying to scare the new girl on the night of her dare. You people need to get more creative..." she said trailing off a little bit, annoyance also in her tone.

Zarin, who flinched a little, turned around and looked down at Lilynette. He raised his eyebrow, wondering what she was talking about. "Young girl, what are you doing in my castle?" As he said this, the torches grew brighter to illuminate the hall better. "You better answer quickly."

Lilynette looked back up at him again and she noticed the torches, but she kept her cool. "I'm here fr the dare remember? You don't expect me to believe you are King Zarin." she said still a bit skeptical of all this. She looked around for a moment, eyeing what would be easy to take back as proof.

Zarin, stepped closer to her and smiled at her. "Oh? So your one of those bothersome highschool kids? Well if you don't believe me, I may have something to show you proof. Please, follow me." Zarin began to walk past her, expecting her to follow.

Lilynette sighed gently, "Might as well humor you..." she said following him through the castle. She watched the walls seeing how old they were, the castle really stood through the test of time. It was almost breathtaking to see this old style of architecture. "Where are we going...?" she asked him after a few more moments of silence.

Lilynette sighed gently, "Might as well humor you..." she said following him through the castle. She watched the walls seeing how old they were, the castle really stood through the test of time. It was almost breathtaking to see this old style of architecture. "Where are we going...?" she asked him after a few more moments of silence.

Zarin looked over his shoulder at her. "Be patient, we're almost there." As the two walked through empty halls, past kitchens, studies, and guest rooms, they made to their destination. A garden, and in the center, two graves. "Young miss, meet my father, William Carter, and my mother, Gwen Carter." On the headstones, the life span ended at a certain date, which was over 400 years ago.

Lilynette looked at everything peeking in on a few rooms, the place seemed pretty lived in for being abandoned over 400 years ago. She went into the gardens, happy the rain had stopped and she shined the light on the graves. Her eyes widened and she covered her mouth looking from him to the graves. "No way.... You really are him aren't you?" she said backing away a bit. She would run if she could remember the way out and if she could grab something on the way out as proof she was ever there.

Zarin smiled and nodded. "Yes, I am." He took a step closer to her. "Are you going to run away, screaming at the top of your lungs? Or are you going to take something from and then run? Well, go ahead and run. I'm used to be called a monster."

Lilynette looked away from him her eyes shifting back and forth from him to the way back inside. "I wouldn't say screaming.." she said trying to seem like it was a joke. "A-A-And I wouldn't say you are a monster....just....just..." she said actually a bit frozen in her tongue twisted state. Her green eyes shifting everywhere as she backed herself into the wall rather than a doorway. "But...why didn't you catch any of the others...?" she asked him the question just rolling off her tongue.
