my bf pretty much just walked away.
so i just accepted it and moved on. now im in a relationship with an old friend of mine
but now my ex just wants me back. its like he cant accept the thought of another guy likeing me. he says all he wants is my love but he admits he's a compulsive liar 75% of the time and this is the 3rd time we've broken up

help? what can i do in this situation?

Seems his insecurity is an issue. And honestly, if he's admitting he's a liar or has lied. I'd have some issues with that as well.

Secondly, if you both have broken up over 3 times and he still hasn't changed he's behavior then unfortunately it's not you that has the problem. It's him. And you have known this friend for long I'm assuming, yes? That in itself seems much better for you. Do what makes you happy dear. You should be with someone who can love and appreciate you as such.
