Okay I have tried it and I just don't like wine

I was adventurous at Costco today and bought a cheap bottle of rose but it just tastes bad. I don't think it's a problem with the wine itself because they all taste like that to me. BUT I AM CHEAP SO I'M GOING TO DRINK IT ALL. I might mix it with lemonade, though.

Also should I put it in the fridge after I've opened it?

This. My family just keeps them out (unless someone brings over one of those really cheap ones, in which case it gets thrown in the fridge like it's juice xD).

I like most drier wines I've had, not really the sweet ones. But I can definitely see why people wouldn't like it.

Go to the wine shop and tell them what you want. Probably a sweet wine like me.

Try a concord wine. They taste a lot like grapes lol

Don't go for the cheapest, more like a mid line.

I am not a fan of wine, but I have found a few local wineries that have sweeter wines that I like. It's all about hunting until you find one you like.

In the meantime, you can always use the stuff you don't like for cooking.

I've never really been a fan of wine either - the only thing I've managed to tolerate was a sweeter, more fruity summer wine.

But yeah I definitely don't like red wine, white wine is better but still eh? And then I picked this wine because it's a light pink color but it still tastes way too strong. I might ask my fiance's mom to pick out a bottle for me because she knows a lot about wine.

try lambruso, or a blush. they're sweet, blush are usually sweeter, but lambrusco is this sweet red wine with almost a carbonated feel. I love it. And it's cheap.

Addy got this really good blush for this party once, I'll have to ask her what kind it was exactly because it was REALLY good.

If you want to try anything again, may I suggest White Pear Arbor Mist. It is delicious, and sweet. Also, if you have Sprite/7Up, that also goes very well with the wine and lemonade.

I refrigerate everything (unless it's red, as the one time I stuck that in the fridge I got yelled at by my Dad, haha, plus I don't like red) because I like my beverages cold. smile

Wine is for some people and not others, no biggie. Though I daresay I have met many people who aren't into wines that tend to find at least one they like.

You will like sweet reds. Barefoot makes a tasty cheap sweet red if you wanted to give it a try and every more upscale sweet red I've tried has been even better. My favorite is LaDiDah.
