In a good way.
Those on facebook with me know this already, but there was this movie I adored as a kid. It was a musical called Rigoletto and the music was beautiful. Sweet, with a classical feel to it. There are two songs I have sung since then, but just randomly when they popped in my head. One, called April Child, I sing to the kids, but it is half in Italian. i have always wanted the sheet music to it, but the music was never published.
Well 20 years later i start looking for it again. I find a website for these films that the movie came with (it was a video club basically) and they did have a song book but said it was all in English and I want the Italian as well.
So I'm looking and looking and stumble on the website for the production company of the composer. Producers and composers are not always synonymous, but I sent off an e-mail ******** composer just emailed back with scanned in images of the songs! Just gave me his s**t no questions asked. We have been chatting back and forth via e-mail for 20 minutes now.
Guy is super nice even if he is a mormon. LOL
Turns out he does a ton of gaming soundtracks, which sound pretty fabulous.
