I bought it just now from the MP.
I haven't looked at the event, but your thread leads me to believe that it requires either a great deal of gold or effort to acquire said hat.

So the extent of this event from what I saw is literally a single page with Jack on it with a list of donation amounts that they want people to give.
Lol. This website has gotten so obnoxiously stupid these days. I'm surprised they're not waving some tiny footed, poofy anime hair'd $400 donation item in our faces.
