I am TERRIBLE at decorating cakes.
Just gonna frost it kind of messy like with white frosting and decorate it with simple little daisies.

I don't know how anyone makes any food look pretty. @_@ Last time I tried to frost cupcakes it was the hottest of messes. My mom (she's a chef) does that kind of thing all the time and I'll just look from her to the food like neutral

Like seriously, I don't understand. THIS CAKE IS FOR SOMEONE'S BDAY THOUGH, IT MUST BE PRETTY.
Atleast I have enough faith in my baking skills that I know it'll taste good.

Use wax paper to smooth it out. Or some kind of flat, wide utensil. They make specific tools for it. We have them at work. Once you get the hang of it, it's super easy.
