Can't you just go in your back yard and pump it from your yard?

Nope. BP already bought the oil under everyone's backyard from the state.

$64 for a monthly bus pass.
Seriously, even if I could drive, I probably wouldn't.

Our city bus service only runs downtown. That's one thing about living in a mid-size town that is very spread out...they are like "You can drive at 14 in this state so start driving". I wish we had better public transportation.

Yeahhhh I'd be worse than useless there. This is probably the smallest city I could live in for decent public transportation. But as long as I don't need to go toooooo far into the suburbs, it's usually alright.
