Eric and I have this huge thing of grenadine we use for drinks, and earlier this week he put some in a can of cream soda. I tasted it and it tasted JUST like cotton candy. It was really good, but also overwhelmingly sweet. I don't think I could drink a whole can, but it was unique & tasty nonetheless.

That sounds good right now. I've actually had cotton candy soda before and you're right, it's good but you can't drink more than a few sips at once.

I was wondering if that was already a thing they made! I've had that Jones bubble gum soda, and candy apple soda, but not cotton candy. do you recall the brand?

During 2003–2006, Shasta sold soft drinks called Shasta Shortz that were marketed to children. Shasta Shortz products were again packaged in 8oz 'mini cans' instead of the typical 12oz soda can, and had sweeter and more candy-like flavors.[7] Flavors included Bubble Gum, Camo Orange Creme, Chillin' Cherry Punch, Cotton Candy, Rah-Rah Root Beer and Red Grape Stain.

Some kid brought it into a rehearsal in those little cans when I was in high school. I'm sure some other company has to make it, though.
