This is a private RP based on Marco's storyline and journey through the Digital World. In other words, this RP takes place in the past and many of these events have already been planned out. You will learn how Marco obtained his digimon, witness his many battles, what characters he has met in the past, his relationships, how he obtained certain ranks/crests/powers, and basically everything that leads to the present Marco.

Location: Vaccine Sentinel Tower

Marco and Iris arrived at the Vaccine Sentinel Tower with attempts to speak with the Virus Busters so they could protect the residents of Toy & Tama town who were previously attacked by Devimon. The duo who were traveling with their digimon were stopped by Knightmon, but after explaining their situation to knight digimon they were granted access into the tower. Marco and Iris hope that the Virus Busters will accept their request for protect of the villagers, but while the group makes their decision they are told to spend the night in the tower. Excited with the unexplored area, Iris wants to tour the tower and learn about its history. Marco agrees to join her while their digimon decided to stay in the room to rest.

The dark haired teen walked down the stairs to the first floor. They were given permission to enter the first and second floor. The second floor was meant for guests and it was where Marco and Iris were given their rooms. The first floor continued the history of the Vaccine Sentinel Tower which was mostly a brief summary of the history in a museum-like floor. Marco walked down the halls with Iris at his side. He noticed many pictures of knight looking digimon, they were probably former members of the Virus Busters. Marco noticed that some of the pictures were depictions of great battles fought by the Virus Busters. Some of the pictures had a description which explained the name of the war/battle and who were the digimon involved. There were also some armor and weapons which were being displayed, but were behind glass covers. Marco was fascinated with the weapons, there were so many weapons and they ranged from dual swords to lances and even shields.

"This is quite a history, but it seems to mostly show vaccine type digimon battling and defeating virus type digimon..." were all virus type digimon evil? Devimon was a virus type and he was a big bad guy, but FlaWizarmon was a virus type as well and he was a good guy. "According to many of these descriptions, the Virus Busters don't really like virus digimon...go figured." Marco joked, but it fell dry since it made him worry that the Virus Busters might not accept their request. "I wonder why..."

Iris walked alongside Marco as the two looked around the Sentinel Tower. A long journey to reach this location was behind them as they has traveled from the Toy and Tama Town area to the tower in the hopes that they were get some form of help from Virus Busters that resided her. After the attack of Devimon, the town needed protection and that was what Marco and Iris sought after. When they arrived they were greeted by Knightmon who allowed them access to the tower they explained the situation at hand. Though they did not sprint into action and instead conversed within the group, at least it wasn't an outright no and they gave Marco and Iris a place to stay for the night. That included rooms and the ability to look around where authorized to do so.

The first floor seem to consist of the history of the tower while the above floor were rooms. Iris looked at the art that adorned the room. She was fascinated by the items and so was Marco so she didn't feel silly gawking. Iris turned her head to look at Marco as he made an observation about how Vaccine type digimon battled and defeated virus type digimon in nearly every battle depicted. Iris chuckled at the joke that Marco made before thinking about the question he asked.

"Maybe they just don't get along." Iris inquired. "What if the really bad Virus type digimon are making trouble so the Vaccine have to come to the reason. Or maybe they're like snakes and mongooses: always against each other just because they are.It's almost sad really."

Location: Vaccine Sentinel Tower

Marco nodded, it was very sad that they weren't getting along. Digimon disputes were not all that different from human problems. The similarities between the two worlds was definitely becoming more obvious as he continued his journey. The history lesson was brief, but it definitely taught Marco the difference in opinion existed everywhere, for example, to the members of the Virus Busters the virus type digimon were the bad guys and the virus type digimon probably considered the vaccine types to be the bad guys. He wondered how long this battle had been going for? According to this old pictures, the battle lasted for several years (who knew how long) and it was probably still going. Marco turned to Iris, "do you want to head back to the room? We've pretty much seen everything we could see here." They had indeed reached the end of the 'museum' and there were no more pictures which could tell them about the past. Marco was ready to turn around and walk back towards the stairs when he heard a rumbling.

"Do you hear that?" Marco asked as he looked around the room trying to find out where this noise was coming from. He closed his eyes deciding to concentrate and eventually he heard the noise getting louder and louder. Marco turned towards a wall which held no pictures, but seemed to be shaking from the rumbling. He instantly moved in front of Iris to protect her from whatever was coming. His digimon were not with them so he wasn't sure how helpful he could be in this situation. "Something is-" Marco was interrupted by an explosion followed by smoke which erupted from the new hole that was just created on the wall. Marco tried shielding Iris, but with all the smoke he wasn't sure what she was protecting her from. He heard a growl then an angry roar, but the smoke continued to block his vision. What is going on? Marco wondered staring at nothing, but darkness.

From the smoke, a pair of red eyes stared at the two humans that were on the ground. A creature yelled again, its eyes glowing brighter from what appeared to be anger. Marco could make out a silhouette of a rather giant creature. As the smoke began to clear, Marco heard alarms going off like crazy. It seemed an emergency was just called followed by a sprinklers activating to put out the invisible fire. The rain did help in clearing the smoke and Marco could finally make out the form of a digimon. A white gorilla with a cannon on its arm, things could not be worse.

Iris thought over what Marco asked her about whether or not she wanted to return to her room since the tour of the first floor was over. She nodded her head, feeling that she could use the rest and some food. Both her and Marco were turning around when she could some rumbling. She could almost feel it to. She nodded her head, nervous, when Marco asked her if she heard that. "What was that?" she asked as she looked around the room. There was nothing in the room that could make sound on its own.

She couldn't believe it; was the tower under attack? Was there a battle going on? Maybe it was an earthquake... Was there earthquakes in this world?

Marco seemed to be ahead of her in knowing where it was coming from as he got in front of her, looking at the wall without a picture on it. Just as Marco was going to say something, an explosion erupted in the room along with smoke that filled the room. Iris started coughing, covering her mouth when she felt Marco wrap his arm around her as she continued coughing. She couldn't see anything in front of her. When she heard the roar, she was regretting not having Ren with her. Iris looked up to see if she could get a visual of something and regretted that too when all she saw was a pair of red eyes peering through the smoke.

She could start to see a shape of something large that was getting closer and angrier. Iris whimpered a little as suddenly the alarms went blaring about and the sprinklers were activated. The smoke was gone but now they were faced with a large digimon that looked like a white gorilla with a gun for an arm. Her eyes widened as she looked at the digimon.

As the two stared, Knightmon appeared on the floor, seeing Iris and Marco on the ground and the digimon over them. "Halt." he said, taking out his sword and getting to attack. Or in this cause capture the angered Digimon.

Location: 1st Floor, Vaccine Sentinel Tower

Marco felt Iris shaking in his arms. Was she shaking from the cold water raining down on them or from fear of the white gorilla with the gun for a hand? Marco wondered if Veemon and Wormmon heard the explosion and if they were on their way? He also wondered if they would be able to make it before this gorilla ripped them to shreds. Marco kept Iris behind him putting himself between the gorilla and Iris so that she would not get hurt. He tried to back away as much as he could until he heard the sounds of the Knightmon approaching. The two knights drew their swords and went towards the white gorillamon digimon giving Marco and Iris enough time to get away. Looking back, Marco saw the Knightmon getting closer to the digimon, but the gorilla raised its gun hand and began to charge for an attack. Marco's eyes widen, "get down!" Marco yelled to Iris as he dropped to the floor with Iris and it was right on time too because the digimon released a powerful blast from its cannon-hand. Another hole was created in the room, but at least any fire that was created was quickly put out by the sprinklers.

"We need to get our digimon and help them out," Marco didn't know how dangerous this digimon was, but the Knightmon looked almost reluctant about approaching this digimon. There will be no need," Marco looked back after hearing that voice, there was no one there, but when he faced forward again a digimon was suddenly standing in front of them. This dgimon was very tall and large in size, but all Marco could see what is broad back and the torn blood-colored dragon wings that came from his back. His body seemed to be made of some gray colored armor, this digimon was filled with muscles meaning he was probably really strong. "Seize this beast now." That single order was all the Knightmon needed before they made their move. With their swords drawn, they immediately closed the distance between them and the gorilla. They slashed the digimon with their large swords and Marco saw blood flying. The gorilla fell, but because it was shaking Marco concluded that it was still alive. The Knightmon made sure not to kill the digimon, but nonetheless they severely injured it.

The sprinklers stopped and the rain was not able to wash away the blood from the fallen digimon. Marco didn't know what was happening, but attacking a digimon with such force to leave an injury like that was almost cruel. "Take the Gorillamon away, we need to return it to the lab," the dragon digimon spoke again and the Knightmon saluted before putting their swords away and taking the digimon with them. Marco glanced at the dark-colored digimon, "what was-" he began, but was immediately cut off. "No business of yours, this tour is over. You two return to your rooms. The Virus Busters will announce their decision tomorrow." The dragon digimon didn't pay them anymore attention and just left before urging them to return. Marco had no choice, but to follow his orders. "We should get out of this wet clothes," Marco grabbed Iris's hand and took her back towards the second floor where their room was located. So many questions were running through his head, but he wouldn't be getting any answers soon.

Iris meeped when Marco yelled to get down and then pulled her down. Before she could question, above them was an attack from the Gorillamon. Iris has been focused on Knightmon so she didn't see the attack that was chraging up until after it was blasting a whole new hole into another wall. Iris was covering her head as she heard Marco mention getting their digimon in order to help. Iris nodded her head but that idea was dashed when a new digimon was heard, saying that it wouldn't be needed.

Iris leaned up to look in front of her. Her eyes widened at the very large digimon that appeared in the room now. The wing span and color alone was terrifying. He commanded such authority. All it took was a command and the Knightmon attacked. Iris watched only for a moment before looking away. She could still hear it so she covered her ears as well. All she could think now was poor digimon. When she opened her eyes again, the Gorilla was beat and very injured. Iris bit her lip. In her mind, the words overkill were running rampant. Iris sat up, her body and clothes wet from the sprinkles. Her shirt was transparent as she shivered from the cold. Marco was going to ask a question but was rudely dismissed. All she heard him tell Marco was that their decision would be told to the two tomorrow.

Iris was silent, thinking about Gorillamon before Marco helped her up and they returned to their room. Once there, her thoughts were more vocal.

"That poor digimon." Iris said as she started to unbutton her shirt, "I get restraining but that just was overkill. I hope it's alright." She then peeled the wet shirt off of her. "Not to mention how rude was that guy. And decision?! You really need to think about helping a village that was previously attacked?! It shouldn't take a whole night or day to say yes we'll help you."

Iris huffed more and more as she took off her skirt and shorts til she was just in her underclothes. She walked into the bathroom. Despite her noise, Ren and Angel were fast asleep. Iris knelt down to turn the water on. At this moment she wanted nothing more than to take a hot bath. Just sit in the water and let everything melt away. With that image in mind, her underclothes were tossed into the bedroom as she sank into the water once it was filled up. She sighed with relief as she went a little lower. "This water feels amazing Marco.. You have to try it..." she giggled as she put up her feet. "Come on!"

Location: Guest Room, 2nd Floor - Vaccine Sentinel Tower

Marco arrived at their assigned guest room following the angry Iris inside. Seeing the Knightmon cut that white gorilla really upset her and he understood her feelings. He did want the gorilla to be stopped because it was causing too much damage and Iris could have gotten hurt, but he didn't think that its capture would be so brutal. What was a rampaging digimon like that even doing inside the tower? The gorilla did not come from the outside meaning that it had to be inside the building from the beginning. The Knightmon were initially hesitant about attacking the white gorilla, but as soon as that dragon man digimon arrived and gave the order to attack then the Knightmon did not hold back. It was obvious that they did not intend on just killing the digimon, but that it was a capture mission. What were the digimon inside this tower doing? All of these questions and no one to answer him. These Virus Busters were not looking very good and Marco was getting too suspicious. However, all of those worries disappeared when he noticed Iris undressing in front of him.

He wondered if maybe she forgot he was in the room due to her anger, but when she invited him to join her in the bath then Marco was pretty sure that wasn't the case. He looked around the room, all of the digimon were sleeping and didn't look like they were going to wake up anytime soon. If all that chaos in the first floor didn't wake them up then probably nothing would. Marco took off his shirt making his way to the bathroom. He saw Iris's last pieces of clothing being tossed to the room followed by a splash. Marco blushed, Iris was a lot bolder than he thought, but he didn't dislike that about her. Once he was ready, he entered the bath and joined Iris.

Iris slept with her arm around Marco's chest. After their bath, the two quickly fell sleep with a smile and a soft sigh. That was until the morning came. She wasn't use to the light being this bright in New York but it was just another reminder that she wasn't home. Then again, it wasn't too bad since she met new people, got Ren and Angel and met Marco. The place was actually growing on her. Iris turned her head to see their Digimon sleeping around enough. It was very nice. Seeing Ren and Angel sleeping together so close gave her a warm feeling as she turned her head to face the sun once more.

That was when she remembered. The council and their decision. She shot up, seeing that Marco was still asleep. She guess she tired him out. Iris chuckled at that but then remembered that she need to get him.

"Marco.." she said as she started to shake him awake. "Wake up, we have to get up. We need to get going. Come on. Wake up lazy bones."

Location: Guest Room, 2nd Floor - Vaccine Sentinel Tower

Marco groaned complaining from being forced to wake up after such a wonderful night spend with Iris. He felt light shining on them which made him not want to open his eyes and instead hide his face in the cover. Unfortunately, his fellow green haired -girl- friend was trying very hard to keep him out of bed. "Just five more minutes," He tried to argue and to make his point, he grabbed Iris and pulled her down capturing her in his arms. He kept her close so that she would not 'escape' while. Veemon and Wormmon were lying around somewhere nearby snoring away. Veemon was the loudest and it was a miracle that Wormmon could even sleep with all that noise practically next to his ear. Marco breathed in Iris's scent with a smile on his face, his mind was slowly waking up reminding him why Iris was trying to wake him up. They were in the Vaccine Sentinel Tower trying to ask the Virus Busters to protect Toy & Tama Town from the current attacks from evil digimon. They were told that a decision would be made today. Indeed he needed to wake up otherwise they would be late.

"Alright time to get dress," Marco announced followed by a light yet firm slap of Iris's behind to help her wake up. Once they managed to untangle themselves, Marco went to look for his pants and other discarded pieces of clothing. While he was changing he threw a pillow, not too strongly, towards his digimon, "guys time to wake up, the Virus Busters will be telling us today and they could call any time-"

Beep, beep - Tamers of Toy & Tama Town, you are being summoned by the Virus Busters, please enter the elevator when ready - beep, beep

A small alarm interrupted Marco as an announcement was made. Good thing he was almost ready, they definitely could not keep the Virus Busters waiting. Veemon and Wormmon were shaking off their sleep as they went into the bathroom to wash their faces. Marco put on his shoes and grabbed his black jacket then turned to Iris, "let's go." Veemon and Wormmon were fully awake now and waiting by the door. Once everyone was ready, Marco left the room waiting for everyone to exit before he closed the door behind them. The earlier announcement mentioned going to the elevator in order to reach the Virus Busters. Previously they were only allowed to enter the first two floors of the tower, but they were now allowed to go higher. Marco wondered how many floors there were and what floor were the Virus Busters located. Once they reached the elevator and stepped inside, the elevator moved on its own without them having to press any buttons. Their destination was already predetermined, but there was no indication about what floor they were reaching.

??? Floor - Vaccine Sentinel Tower

When the elevator stopped and the doors opened, they were greeted by two Knightmon which were their escorts. Silently they followed the Knightmon until they reached a room where they were asked to enter. Inside there was a long table and a single digimon sitting at the far end. Marco recognized the dragon man digimon, he couldn't forget his authoritative aura nor the cold way he asked the Knightmon to attack that white gorilla digimon from yesterday.

"We have made our decision."

Iris was rocking at Marco's body as she shook up, even after he said that he wanted five more minutes. She chuckling, making it seemed like he was a kid oversleeping and she was a mother...okay...Since she was naked, he was a husband that was going to be be late for work and she was his wife...

Now that thought just made her blush as she continue to try and get him awake when he pulled her down, pressing herself against the bed. She looked up at him, blinking as his arms kept her down. When he smiled at her, she returned the smile. Suddenly she gave a little gasp when Marco hit her bottom, telling her that it was time to get dress. Like that wasn't what she was doing for a few minutes.

Iris merely rolled her eyes as she got up to put on her clothes. Unlike Marco's rough approach of waking his digimon up, Iris shook her digimon awake. Ren was up quickly while Angel was in and out of sleep. Marco was telling her that they would be calling her soon when Iris had the alarm that was the indication that they were wanted. Especially since it said 'Tamers of Toy and Tama'. Iris was just putting on her shirt when she heard the alarm. Hearing the announcement, Ren was now wide awake and Angel was almost there. It was only little bit of time before the six of them were ready to leave and see the decision that was made. Marco told her 'Let's go' and Iris nodded her head as she opened the door and left out of the room and walked to the elevator. When she walked into the elevator, Iris could only imagine what floor they were heading to. After all, she has only seen the first and second floor.

The ride to wherever wasn't long. Or maybe it was long but she didn't pay attention to it. When she looked up, she saw the two Knightmon that were her escorts. She didn't question it as she and Marco, and their digimon followed the two until they reached a room. Walking inside, Iris was greeted by the sight of the digimon from yesterday. The one that control the Knightmon.

In a strong voice, they told them that he had made his decision. Iris looked at the digimon with hope. That was until the next words shattered that.

"The request has been declined. Thank you. You may take your leave."


Iris looked at the digimon in disbelief. How could he say no to them. There were digimon in trouble, wasn't it their job, their duty to protect them.

"But why..?" she said as she stepped closer. "There are digimon in Toy and Tama... There are civilians that.."

"The request was properly looked and the decision was denied. There is nothing more that can be done." He then looked at Iris, with a cold stare. "Thank you, that is all."

Location: ???? Floor - Vaccine Sentinel Tower

Marco closed his hand into a fist. The request to protect Toy & Tama Town was denied and even though the dark dragon digimon said that their request was properly looked at he couldn't help, but question the decision. They were told no and quickly shown the door. Iris was clearly displeased, but the dark dragon did not budge from his decision. His face was expressionless, hidden by his mask, but Marco heard his tone of voice and it was enough for him. For the moment, Mistymon would have to continue protecting Toy & Tama Town at least until he managed to get Iris to Network City. He told her that he would take her to the Digital Gate so that she could return home, but he actually wasn't sure if the gate was operational. The last time he visited Network City it was under attacked by a some crazy strong digimon which was destroying the city so he wasn't sure whether the gates were undamaged. However, he told Iris about this from the beginning so it wasn't like he kept that a secret from her.

Back to the matters at hand, there was no arguing the decision from the Virus Busters. He wasn't sure how many digimon made up the group, but apparently this digimon was send as a representative since they didn't see any other digimon. Marco wondered how Veemon, Wormmon, and Renamon felt about the decision. They saw the trouble in Tropical Jungle first hand since they were the ones defending the villagers from Devimon's attacks. "We will leave, thank you for letting us spend the night," their request was denied, but at the very least they were given shelter. Maybe the Virus Buster had their reasons for deciding to not help them. He turned to Iris placing his hand on her shoulder, "we tried, but we should leave if we want to make it to Network City before the end of the day." There was no reason for them to stay in the tower anymore. So they would leave and continued their journey. Maybe they could give the villagers of Toy & Tama Town a call and see if they needed any help, but for the moment it was best if they moved on. Marco got ready to leave, but stopped when he remembering a question he wanted to ask, "what happened to that digimon, the one from yesterday?"

"Gorillamon? That problem has been resolved, Number 275 is being looked over," Cyberdramon looked almost confused probably wondering why the human was worrying about a digimon that wasn't his partner. Marco didn't say anything more; the dark dragon's response was not the most helpful, but at the very least he knew the digimon's name now: Gorillamon. Marco was confused by why Gorillamon was referred to a number like she was some kind of specimen. He knew that trying to get any more information would be useless. It was time to move on so Marco turned around and left once Iris was ready to leave. Veemon and Wormmon followed silently like they were holding something back. Their adventure in the Vaccine Sentinel Tower was over for now.

Iris started to growl. How could he dismiss them like that? Ren clenched her fist but said nothing since she was not strong enough to back up her words or actions. She couldn't endanger Iris and the others. Iris was about to something else and move forward but then Marco spoke. He shocked her by by saying Thank you and that they would leave. Iris turned to him in shock but saw his fist so knew that he was upset like she was but knew that fighting or arguing would not help. She sighed when Marco placed his hands on her shoulder. he reminded her that they still needed to get to Network City. The way for her to get home. She looked down for a moment before nodded her head.

"You're right." she said, ready to leave until Marco asked about the digimon that attacked them. She learned the digimon was called Gorillamon. That made sense since she did have the appearance of a gorilla. Iris didn't like the use of a number using to describe her like she was a commodity. When Marco turned around, Iris followed and then Ren. Iris gave one look back at the Cyberdragonmon and then sighed, their travel to the Tower was over and she didn't feel like she was successful but she wasn't going to give up... Not yet.

Iris was silent on the way into the Network City. According to Marco, this was how she was going to be able to get home. She would be able to return to her family, her friends, her everyday life. Then she paused. Her everyday life didn't include Ren, Angel..and Marco. She would return home and most likely never see anyone ever again. She would return home and wake up to possibly find that this was all but a dream.

Ren looked at Iris as she quiet...Too quiet for too long. "Iris...Are you okay?" Ren whispered. Iris looked at the Renamon and nodded her head. "Yea..I'm fine... Just peachy you know." Ren could hear it in her voice that not everything was 'peachy' but she could assume why Iris was being quiet and went silent as well.

"Marco...do you know where this portal will be?" she asked as looked around at the tall building and made her think of Tron movies. They were large buildings that reminded her of New York. They were under constructions and everything. Did something happen here. It seemed like it was under going some reconstruction. "I mean will it take us another day or two to find it. It's not like I'm in a rush or anything to get back home.."

Marco Sombra de Milagros

I'm still learning about this world...

Location: Main Streets, Network City

After they left the Vaccine Sentinel Tower, with everyone having left with mixed feelings about their stay, they managed to reach Network City without any problems. The tower was not very far away from the city. In fact, you could faintly see the tall tower far in the distance. It seemed the members of the Virus Busters had a great view of the city which was probably how they managed to keep a safe eye on the citizens. Their journey was spend in silence with Veemon doing most of the talking with Wormmon occasionally joining in every now and then. The blue digimon probably sensed the tense atmosphere so he tried to keep everyone's spirits up by engaging in some conversations. Of course his attention was mostly focused on Ren the Renamon, but he would also try talking with the new digimon Pururumon every now and then.

Marco noticed that Iris was surprisingly silent which was odd since the girl loved to talk. He was concerned about her, but he wasn't the best at comforting people especially when he was troubled himself. Iris was probably thinking about the events that occurred in the tower; she looked very upset about how Gorillamon was treated and specially how the Virus Busters declined their request. She probably had a lot on her mind so it was best to leave her alone. Which was too bad since he wanted to hear her voice especially since he might not be able to talk to her soon. If the Digital Gates were operational then she would be leaving the Digital World. Technically he could leave as well, but he couldn't go back home not while he was still carrying Leviamon's sin. The leviathan had a hold on part of his soul and he could sometimes feel an ache near his heart and he knew that it was Leviamon's sin.

Iris finally decided to speak, she wanted to ask about the portal which almost made Marco frown; was she really that much in a rush to leave the Digital World? Marco's thoughts were interrupted by the sound of construction nearby. The last time he was in the city it was under attacked, but that was such a long time. He was glad to see the city was okay, but there was evidence of damage. All the construction was probably happening in order to fix all the damage that digimon caused. He was too busy checking out the construction to look at Iris, but he answered her nonetheless. "The Digital Gate is in located at the center of the city, if we follow this main street then we'll reach the center in no time." Everything might be over very soon...was Iris really okay with that? Was he okay with that?

When Marco answered, she noticed that he wasn't looking at her as he did so. Sure he was looking at the construction but maybe he was holding back something else. She frowned, hearing that the Gate was in the center on the city and they would be there soon since they were on the main route. It seemed like he was ready for her leave.

"Oh..." she said, "Okay... great....Good to know, thanks.." Iris said as she looked at the construction as well in order to avoid the achy feeling that was coursing through her. It seemed that the further they walked the more work that was being done. It peaked her interest. "Did..something happen here. This is my first time here but it looks like they're repairing from something." Iris turned to look Marco. "So did something happen? Like a battle or something?"

"Halt!" Iris stopped in their tracks. In front of them appeared row of rust color mechanical like Digimon with a taller and sleeker Cyborg like digimon, the one that spoke to them, was in front of them. "State you business here." He stepped forward more, making Renamon step in front of Iris. His arms weren't up. If anything, he just looked at the six in front of him and the others.

Iris gulped, did they really like a threat to digimon. "We're just looking for the Digital Gate....Is it...this way...Or are we going the right way."
