Oh noes! Are you okay?? D: Also, getting burnt doesn't make you a shitty cook. Cooking food that tastes horrible, THAT makes you a shitty cook. But I'm sure whatever you made is tasty and (hopefully?) worth the pain! :3 What were you cooking anyway?

I fixed it, but it definitely didn't turn out. I was baking a panko-breaded-lemon-pepper-garlic tilapia, but I think my dish wasn't shallow enough because it didn't brown at all but the fish was dried out. So I just made a spicy sauce, shredded the fish and made a sandwich.
The problem was, since I started getting all these problems with my joints, my grip is pretty weak and terrible. So I went to take the pan out of the oven, couldn't hold it one-handed and instinctively grabbed it with my other hand, but my thumb missed the potholder. It's not too bad, but it definitely hurts like a b***h and it's gonna blister pretty good.

Akky the Terrible Deaux As long as you did not burn down the kitchen it is all good. Nah, I did that in high school. That makes you the third person I know that burned down their kitchen. Were you frying potatoes of some sort? That is what the other two were doing. One got the kitchen mostly rebuilt before his parents got back from vacation (he knew a really good contractor). The other, well the apartment complex was a total loss.

Nope. Boiling water. Sounds like a joke but. Yeah. No.
Actually that time it wasn't burned down, I just set the wall and ceiling on fire a bit. It (and half my house) burned down when I was 9 and alone in the house with my sister, but that wasn't my fault.

And besides, you ended up making something that sounds equally delicious anyway! Win-win! As long as it tastes good and you didn't get food poisoning, I'd say you did a bang-up job!
Oof... blisters are no fun. :c I hope it heals quickly! <3 Also, completely unrelated: Your avatar is hella swank <3
