What was it?
I bought myself a laptop yesterday. I didn't realize this one didn't have a cd/dvd drive when I bought it and it's been bugging me over since. Also I wanted a 10key # pad lol.
I also bought myself a 3ds but that was kind of an accident. I bought it for Mallory but then decided I'd get her an xl with mario and luigi on it. I could return it but yeah I think I"ll just keep the purple one for myself.
I guess one could be a self-birthday gift, haha

A copy of the "FreeBasic compiler".
OK so technically I did not buy it but it takes me back to a forgotten age, the age of DOS we called it, when the world was new. The age of internet had not yet been born. Epic battles occurred between heroes, now lost in the mists of time, fought with 8bit weapons in mythological RIME Net, father of the famed Email. When 16 shades of gray were plenty for anyone. Printers had but nine pins and tape recorders were repositories for programs and data alike. Men were men back then, if he did not know Basic his computational soul was lost in the luminiferous aether. Analog computers actually existed along side the fore bearers of our modern electronic steeds and the supremacy of Microsoft had not been foretold.
Those were times indeed.
