I haven't been around much and have kinda withdrawn from a lot of people this past year, including people in my daily life, however I still hope everyone had a good holiday season.
My grandmother died in November. That was rough. She died a few days before she was supposed to fly out here for Thanksgiving. I didn't get to say goodbye. Dad told me she was getting bad, so I was going to try and make this visit special, but it never happened. That was three deaths in 2013 for me.
I'm about to celebrate 10 years with my company in March. I've earned two awards this year, one with a monetary reward, and one as just a special 'thanks for your work.' I'm hoping the awards will reflect well on me during my annual review in February.
Brandon and I celebrated 5 years together in October.
My sister if you remember her adopted a cat.
My stepbrother whom you don't know got married in October.
I got all butthurt about the Fallout 4 hoax in November, mostly because it debuted on the day my grandmother fell ill, and it was a huge distraction from grief for me until it was revealed to be a hoax.
