Very fun, but next year, in spite of having to walk across the street, we're staying at the hotel across the street.
Pros:
-Cheaper
-They feed you once a day
-Less noisy (after parties every single night at the convention center hotel. At one point, at four AM I had to open my door and tell three people who were laughing and talking loudly outside my room to knock it off, and this was an hour after I asked the after party across the hall to keep it down.)
-Free cookie when you check in
-Elevators are faster.
-FREE INTERNET. NO RESORT FEE
Cons:
No mini fridge in room to keep liquor cold
No awesome balcony from which I can drunkenly bellow greetings at other people in the convention center
Bathroom isn't as awesome for sex
Gotta leave the convention and walk across the street. This means either braving the cold/rain/weather for the 3 minute walk or carry your jacket around.
Oh and Brandon's at AGDQ 2014. I took his picture on the stream
