Artificial Insemination?

So, my wife and I are wanting to get me pregnant in a couple years but, are wanting some info now.
We've never done the artifical insemination but, that's what we're wanting.
If it helps any I'm from Washington State. sweatdrop
My questions are:
- Roughly how much does it cost?
- How accurate is the procedure?
- Is there a way to choose the gender you want the child?(We have a boy but, are wanting a girl)
- What are some good sites to check out for all this?

It's probably cheaper in USA, they like to rip people off here (Australia) where ever they can since most healthcare stuff is free.
