How do you actually get ice off cars?
  Not that way, apparently.

WHAT THE ACTUAL ********, FLORIDA?

And before any of you get at me for complaining about this:
I LIVE IN FLORIDA. Ice on my car is ******** weird.

And I broke my damn license in the process.

I can't believe it's that cold down there!

Texans seem to be equally inept at getting rid of ice though. One girl I know was posting about getting ice off her car with an ID card and a meat hammer...

I know you know, but it really is hilarious seeing this complaint in January, as someone who lives in Michigan xD

So how do you get ice off a car if not with a credit card? Do you start the car and let it warm up enough so the defrost works? Pour hot water on the car? Hair drier? Use a car cover so the snow does not stick to the car?

OK I can see using the brush, but the white thing on the end, is that what you use instead of a credit card? If it is, shouldn't it be located so the brush cleans up after it?

nah you just go at the ice like no tomorrow and then when it's all clear you use the brush to sweep away the flakes/remnants. It's also just for brushing off snow.
