Not new drinks to me, just ones that I've never made myself before.
My niece was supposed to drink with me (she's 20!!) but she backed out as I was making my first drink, and Eric doesn't drink, so I'm drinking alone lololol
BUT
First drink:
Strawberry basil mojito. SO GOOD. I sliced and pre-soaked 3 strawberries in bacardi light rum and a tiiiiny bit of strawberry soda for 2 hours
Then put them in a glass, ribboned 3 basil leaves, and added 1 spoonful of sugar, the stuff the strawberries were soaking in, and some of the rum & club soda. Oh and also a bit of lime juice, and then some lemon juice because i ran out of lime.
It's reaaaalllly good! Not sure what I'm going to make next, but I'm going to try to document them all here

3rd drink - amaretto sour. pretty simple. half amaretto, added sweet & sour mix, lemon juice, and some maraschino cherries & juice. DIG IT.

4th drink - whisky sour
part whisky, part lemon juice, part 7up, little bit o' sweet & sour & 1/2 tbs of sugar.
least favorite so far, even tho i usually love whisky, think i used too much

5th and possibly final drink - dirty girl scout
1/3 irish creme
1/3 creme de cocoa
1/3 peppermint schapps, because i didn't have or want to buy cremem de mentha since it's gotta be similar

I'm a total baby when it comes to alcohol but isn't amaretto cream-based? That sounds like it would be horrendous with anything sour.

ok i just tried to stand up and it was really difficult. eric tried to dance with me and i had to ask him to stop. then i had to come sit down. xD

Undecidability I'm a total baby when it comes to alcohol but isn't amaretto cream-based? That sounds like it would be horrendous with anything sour. no actually...you should give it a try sometime! I don't really know how to explain it right now, but i love them, definitely.
