Haha. I have not. My boss asked for a raise for me but I had to wait til my probationary period was over. (see how that worked out lol. )

Yeah see, so not only have I worked there for almost a year and a half, but also I'm the only employee. Literaly just me and my boss. So I feel like, since I haven't even bee offered a raise yet, I should probably ask.

Chances are, if you've been there that long, you can probably ask straight up, especially if you know your boss well enough. The worst he can say is no. Best is a random promotion : D

I actually I think the worst her boss could do is be all "wow how very dare you, leave, get out"
but yeah, in a small business like that? probably just rock up and be like "what up cost of living raise plz???"

I haven't personally, but after a year it's sort of customary. Give it a go and ask ninja

How much though? I make $8 an hour and I would like $9 but I feel like that's too much to ask for already, though I have NO idea.

She said I'll be getting something after tax "season" is over, whatever that means. I have a feeling I'm going to have to remind her anyway. But I've gotten even more responsibilities lately, and she trusts me to leave me working the bakery alone all day, so these are good things.

April 15th marks the end of tax season, so I'd be hitting her up shortly thereafter.
