Right now there is only one expression available without edits. I would love to see a few variations of expression as standard unedited options.

This would not only be helpful for customs but would give the new unedited colorists a little more to work with.

I understand that because of the way the templates work this would be very difficult. And I'm not saying it needs to happen immediately. But I also understand there has been some new templates being made lately and wanted to suggest this as an option for consideration.

It would be nice to have expressions like: Serious/Concerned, Sad/Tired, Angry/Upset, Enthused/Joyous on top of the standard fairly pleasant/neutral expression.

The colorists have been doing an amazing job, and I adore all the new things that have been coming our way. I truly appreciate the hard work you all put into this shop and community. Thank you.

Please feel free to offer suggestions of what you would like to see, but do so in a helpful and non-demanding way. Any colorists are welcome to chime in on why this might not be possible and/or their ideas on the matter.

I like this idea smile It may be a small thing, but even small things can still be very nice things smile And given the range of tempers, it'd be a simple nice thing to see a horse that's, say, grumpy... And frowning as opposed to the generic smile smile

I would really love this if this happened nwn.

That way if I wanted an angry face, I wouldn't have to make it half kalona xD. Or take up one of my edit slots lD.

I would also like to say that I am supreamly happy with the edits that have been trickling out since the hiatus, and the true progress the staff have made<3.

Not only in templates, but in making sure each and every one of us feels welcome emotion_kirakira

I definitely think this would be a great thing to have. Heck, it'd be awesome just to have one more stock expression, something more somber/neutral if your soquili isn't the smiling type.

As mentioned in LS once, I'd totally be up for it. Only hard part is the implementing of it *nods*

Yeah, from the sounds of it, it would take going through and removing all the mouth/eyes/ears from the base soquili template and move them into a new layer set along with any of the alternates. The problem comes with then redoing shading templates to go with that and then migrating it across all of the species.

It would be a BIG undertaking, but I admittedly do like the idea of more than just the stock expression available on unedited ponies (and breedings!)

It may be more of an easy change...but I'd love to see long eyelashes/flirty eyes be a template. I don't know if it'd be necessary for males? but maybe XD

I know this is about soquili, but I would *love* to see alternate expressions on familiars. Especially all the smiley ones!

@Nymph - I think they are slowly going through some of the old familiar templates and trying to update them to look more realistic, this should address most of the 'smiley' ones. I could be mistaken, but I'm pretty sure they're addressing that.

The new versions and the new familiars (alligator and porcupine) are all smiling/happy looking ^^ Or, at least, they look that way to me!

It looks like a pleasant/neutral to me, still on the happy side, but not as bad as, say, the old raccoon.

This would be a good thing to bring in too, a little more variation and it would be pretty nice^^
