Tell me what you're reading at the moment? Is it any good? Who would you recommend it to?

Im currently reading the third and final book in The Gemma Doyle Trilogy and I am really enjoying it! It's set in old London times where women were made to wear corsets and gossip was everyones favourite hobby. On the day her mother kills herself for reasons beyond comprehension, the young Gemma Doyle discovers she posses an unknown power and her life becomes a crazy adventure she would never have anticipated. She's sent away to a new school for young ladies and it's from there that the real magic begins! I would recommend it to anyone who likes fantasy, mystery, adventure and anthing else of the sort. Fantastic read heart

I'm currently reading the Divergent Trilogy-- Just finished the second book. To break it down:

- Dystopian society, takes place in Chicago
- The society was divided up into 4 "factions" or groups of people:
-- Amity- Those who have an aptitude for friendliness and peacefullness
-- Candor- Those who believe in honesty
-- Abnegation- Those who are selfless
-- Erudite- Those who believe in gaining knowledge to succeed
-- Dauntless- The courageous and daring

- The division into factions happened because Chicago was overrun by crime and became so corrupt that they created factions so that everyone would know their place and have a hand in building the society.
- Children are born into their faction and follow their parents until they're 16, I believe. Then, they take a test to determine which faction they have a natural longing for and finally, get to choose their faction and go through a process to determine if they are able to survive in the faction.
- Of course, there are those who fail the process and are known as the factionless.

- The main character, Tris, is a Divergent, meaning that she tested to have more than one aptitude for a faction, and has to struggle to keep her Divergence a secret, or else it'll bring trouble.

I would recommend this book to anyone who is into Dystopian societies or futuristic, settings. There's also a little romance that grows stronger as you read on throughout the book. I love it s far!

I'm really into books with a dystopian society right now. There's also a movie for the first book of the trilogy, Divergent, coming out this March. I definitely want to see it~

Oh and have you read The Fault in Our Stars? My friends have been recommending it to me, but I haven't been able to pick it up yet.

Im currently reading the third and final book in The Gemma Doyle Trilogy

I really love this trilogy. Definitely books I need to pick up and read again.

As for me, I'm currently reading The Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson. It's a spin off of a trilogy he wrote called the Mistborn Trilogy. It really good so far and I loved the trilogy before it.
I would explain it but I'm terrible at giving summarize of books.
Let's just say it involves swallowing metals that gives some people magically abilities, wars between kingdoms, love, and an tough female main character.

Oooh those books you're reading at the moment sound intriguing! I shall look them up to get a better idea of what they're about but I'm a sucker for magic and stories of fighting kingdoms. It sounds like it's definately something down my alley emotion_kirakira
