But when it's below freezing outside, the washer won't drain properly and floods the laundry room.
So I guess I have to wait.
It's probably not supposed to do that.

Move to New Orleans where it never does that. Only the water pipes freeze cause we forget to insulate them because it rarely freezes here. I never insulate the pipes I just pile stuff (wash tub, bags of mulch, feed bags, potted plants ect.) up on them when it gets really cold outside.
