Iris was relieved when Swanmon appeared behind Marco and the new digimon in tow. It seemed as though the two were talking about something else before they had reached the hut. Iris hugged Satsuki when Swanmon said to Marco that they were in their hands, take care of them, and they would aid them. How could she... Iris looked down, a grimaced look on a face. That feeling was returning again. Like everything was going to cave in around her. Iris only came back when Marco mentioned camping outside and Nikky agreed with him. "Uh...sure...." Iris said, the words sounded unsure of themselves. "Camping sounds good.."
"You're sure you're up to camping." Ren asked as she watched Hanako serve as DemiVeemon's pillow. Her tail and ear flicked a little. "I think that it might be-"
"I said I'm fine already!!!" Iris said louder than she expected her voice to be. It stunned Ren and it stunned herself as she looked at Renamon. Immediately she regretted her tone as approached Ren. Her eyes said it as she opened her mouth and then closed it before she placed Satsuki in Ren's lap."I'm fine....I can do it..." she said with a softer voice before she walked out of the hut and into the plain as it was touched by the night sky and moon.
Iris stopped walking. Or least she thought she was walking. She left so out of breath, she thought maybe she had ran instead. Iris took a seat in the field, heavily breathing as she placed her hands on her head, running it through her hair. Why was she acting like this? Why was she being so cowardly? She hadn't been like this... this scared in a long time. It was scaring her. She sat there waiting for the world to swallow her up.
"So here you are..." Iris looked up to see Swanmon appearing her. Did she think she was unfit for Satsuki now. Iris curled up into herself as she could hear and the feel the digimon stand in front of her. "You know being afraid isn't something to be ashamed of. But you can't bottle it up...otherwise well..."you'll do something you are ashamed of. Even if it was accidental.
Iris didn't look at the digimon..."I just...need... I need to..-sigh- I don't even know what I need." Iris admitted as she started to pull at some strands of grass. Swanmon sighed before something then took her attention. A little pururumon was making her way towards as she hopped and waddled through the digieggs. "She's here... she's here..." Pururmon said as she panted and then continued her journey. "This little one again.." Swanmon said as she walked over to the digimon. "Should you be asleep?" she asked with a smile. Swanmon went to pick up the digimon when Pururumon waddled her way to Iris, trying to get into her lap. Iris looked down into her lap and then at Swanmon.
"This one here hatched the day after you guys left from that mission. She's been quite the little handful. Very hyper and never holding still." Swanmon chuckled. " This is the longest I've seen her stay still."Iris looked at the Pururumon as the digimon got into her lap and curled up with a soft hum like she was asleep now. "Angel..." Iris said as she started to pet the digimon. "My little Angel...." Iris said as she finally had a smile on her face. a real one. She remembered Angel. Swanmon chuckled once more. "It's seems that you're getting your answers Iris...' the motherly digimon said as she stood up."You have courage young one, remember that."
Swanmon smiled at Iris as she decided to make her leave to leave Iris and Angel alone. It seemed she needed a little time to collect herself.

Speaking with Swanmon made Marco feel a lot better. She was definitely a mother character and the game did a great job in giving her motherly qualities. There was a tale that said storks brought babies to the families, but there was nothing about swans taking care of babies in planes. After he suggested they spend the night in the plains everyone agreed and decided to stay. It was a weekend so Marco didn't have any problems not return his room tonight; there wasn't anyone waiting for his return anyways. DemiVeemon still needed to rest so they couldn't camp outside just yet. Swanmon seemed to read his mind and spoke up once more. "There is a barn near here where I keep food supplies and equipment. Little Freddy has been using it as his sleeping quarters, but it should be plenty big for all of you sleep for the night." Marco smiled and nodded at the swan digimon. Due to their digimon's conditions, camping outside would be difficult, but with this new arrangement they would be able to give their digimon their needed rest.
Marco was caught by surprised when Iris suddenly raised her voice. The atmosphere was silent and his eyes were immediately drawn to her; was she upset? Iris left her baby digimon in the care of Ren and then walked out of the hut. She passed right by him and he turned to chase after her, but he was stopped by Swanmon. He stared at her, but she shook her head and followed after Iris leaving Marco alone with Nikky and Meiling. DemiVeemon stirred in his sleep again and turned from side to side. The warmth of Hanako's leg was comforting so naturally he snuggled against her thighs to receive more of her warmth. Iris's shout nearly woke him up, but the little blue guy could practically sleep through anything if he was tired enough. The baby digimon in the hut started making some noises and Marco was afraid they would start to cry soon. "D-Don't worry, everything is fine just sleep. It's night night..." Marco finished lamely, but his voice managed to calm the baby down enough since they seemed to find his voice pleasant.
He looked towards the plain with concern. Iris was upset about something and he felt an urge to seek her out. Nikky and Meiling were taking care of their own digimon and his partner was being taken care of by Hanako. He felt something tapping his legs. Looking down he saw the new baby digimon and Leafmon looking up at him with curious eyes. Marco smiled at the digimon, their designs were incredibly cute including their smiles. He kneel down in front of them. "Yes?" Pabumon moved behind Leafmon while Jyarimon hopped up and down. "She looked sad," Leafmon spoke almost with a clear voice. "Go! Go!" Jyarimon giggled while Pabumon nodded shyly from behind Leafmon. If his cute little digimon were telling him to go then there was only one thing to do. Marco petted each of them and then stood up looking back at Nikky and Meiling. "I'll be right back," with those words he left the hut and the baby digimon followed after him.

Where did Iris and Swanmon go? He didn't actually see in what direction they left and with the day gone he couldn't really see any path. While walking he spotted Swanmon who waved at him. "If you're looking for Iris then she's right over there." Marco nodded at her and left towards the direction Swanmon pointed with his digimon following right behind him.
"Iris," Marco spoke in relief after finding her. She was sitting down on the grass with a pink bird looking baby digimon in her arms. Leafmon, Pabumon, and Jyarimon hopped towards her and each began to greet her. "Hi! Hi!""Hello...""Hi!" Marco was still standing, but decided to take a sit so that he could speak with Iris more clearly. "Are you okay?" he went straight to the point since he wasn't the type to really beat around the bush.
Iris remained in the silence of the plains and the night as it officially fell. Angel was asleep in her lap as Iris stroked her soft body. The smile she had was weakening. Sure she was calmer but the uneasiness was still there. Now she had to in the fact that she raised her voice at Ren. "They must think I'm a horrible person now." Iris said as she brought Angel into her arms."I hate this..." her eyes started to water up. "I hate this feeling...." She hunched her neck lower as she started to sniffle.
Iris jolted up slightly as she gasped in surprise as she heard her voice. She looked up to see Marco and then turn her head to the side. Was he was going to chastise her. The only thing that catch her attention to make her turn her head was the baby digimon that greeted her and Angel. Iris sniffled as she looked at the digimon. Another weak smile, Iris greeted the digimon. "Hi..."she managed to say as Marco sat down. Iris turned her head to face the front of the plains. He didn't take long before he was asking her if she was okay. Iris gave off a choked laughter.
"Let's see. I raised my voice to Ren. I haven't been on a mission since the one here. I can't think of a mission without having a panic attack and I still have nightmares. Every night straight... of watching that digimon attack us..."Iris looked at Marco. "Yea..." Iris said,"I'm just peachy... I'm so peachy...I'm just...." Iris sighed and fell silent. She then placed her hands on head."How did you get over it..." she asked him. "Everytime I think of mission, I think about Ren getting hurt because I can't protect her...I'll lose her."
Iris put her face in her palms. "And I can't do let that happen."
Iris felt her eyes starting to water up and leak out as she rubbed her eyes. She let out a frustrated groan as she aggressively rubbed hey eyes. "Stupid...stupid..." She looked at Marco and suddenly felt angry and defensive."What you think because I'm a girl that I 'm going to be weak and weepy with no control of my emotions now?! Because you got another coming!"

The digimon remained silent and stared at Iris with curious eyes. She greeted them and even gave them a smile, but she looked sad. Marco listened as Iris answered sarcastically. Their last mission shook her and she was scared to lose her digimon. The battle against Cyberdramon was definitely a surprise and there were moments when the graphics felt so real that he really thought he was in a gruesome battlefield. The sights of their digimon being torn to pieces by Cyberdramon would leave an impact on anyone. How did Marco cope? He would remind himself that this was just a game. He doubted that if he told Iris those words she would feel any better. She was surprisingly sensitive, but looks were always deceiving and she was currently hurting. She didn't want to lose because losing meant her digimon died. The situation was tough and he wasn't the type to tell people to suck it up and forget about the problem. If Iris was talking to him now was because she couldn't deal the problem by herself. Maybe it didn't necessarily need to be him, but he was glad to be here at the moment. Iris got angry at him thinking that he was somehow belittling her. Maybe he thought too soon...
Leafmon, Pabumon, and Jyarimon scurried away to hide behind Marco once Iris raised her voice at him. Pabumon and Jyarimon were just freshly hatched so naturally they were sensitive, but Leafmon was just awfully shy. Marco raised his hands to try and calm her down before the baby digimon started crying. "It's okay to feel scared!" he exclaimed in return, "in this world we are weak. Any wild creature here could tear us apart, but that's why we have to train our digimon so that they can become stronger." He lowered his hands waiting to see how she would react. He looked back at his baby digimon seeing how small they were. "We rely on them, but they rely on us too." His eyes returned to her, "we can't protect them from getting hurt, but we can train them. Give them experience through missions and battles so they can level up and reach the next stage of their power like Freddy's Coronamon." This was the basic in most games and it really was the only solution that he could think about at the moment.
"I say you're doing a good job," Marco commented leaning back to rest on his elbows while his digimon hopped around. "You already had your digimon digivolve to Champion level while mine is still in Rookie level." He looked up at the night sky, "you're already ahead...I need to catch up." Leafmon looked at Iris and cautiously approached her. "C-Cheer up, everything will be...will be okay!" he spoke with blushed cheeks; clearly it took him a lot of courage to speak up to a stranger. Pabumon and Jyarimon soon followed his lead. "Cheer! Cheer!""up..."
Iris looked at Marco, ready to retort whatever words or insults that he was going to tell her. Her expression was anger until it went blank when he quickly told that it was okay to feel scared. Iris stopped what she was thinking and what she was really to do as Marco spoke. His first words wasn't helping his case as he said that they were weak and that a digimon could attack them. Her expression changed as she lifted her brow and gave him a look of disbelief. That was until he said that this was why they had to train their digimon and make them stronger. His hands lowered to the group. Did he think she was going to attack him or something?
At the moment, the first thing he said that made sense was that she relied on her digimon and they relied on her. She gulped for a moment when he looked at her but she didn't shrink away from the gaze. Iris lowered her eyes a little when he said that she couldn't protect her digimon from getting hurt. No need to rub it in there Marco she thought as he continued to try and soothe her. She had to tilt her head at the choice of words he used. 'Experience' 'Level up'? He made it sound like a video game.
Without realizing it, Iris had turned her body to face Marco fully, Angel still sleeping in her lap as she sat on her knees. Her cheek tinted a little at the compliment of doing a good job according to Marco since Ren could digivolve but Veemon could not. Iris looked down at the digimon that came with Marco. Three little plump cuties as they told her everything was going to okay and to cheer up. Iris looked from the digimon back to Marco who was leaning to rest on his elbows.
"That was...that was...."Iris said before she shuttered and wiped her eye. "That was just..."
Before she knew it, she was snorting before she chuckled. It started soft and increased in volume until she was laughing. She was laughing as tears still trailed down the sides of her cheeks."That was the cheesy thing I ever hear as a pep talk and I went to catholic school!" Iris continued to laugh loudly, falling back to lay down full. She continued to laugh until her tears were all dries out from her ducts. She could only try to catch her breath as she wiped her eyes and made sure that Angel was resting on her stomach. Iris let out a sigh as she quieted down from laughing and turned her head to look at Marco again. "I mean that it was like some in-game dialogue or a moment in an action cartoon. I mean you can't just make this stuff up."she said, "Except that part about me being better than you. That's a given and correct."
Iris chuckled one more time before she stared at the stars in silence. "You say that I can't protect Ren and the others from getting hurt..."Iris said, "But how can I call myself her friend and reliable if I don't make the effort to do it." Iris turned her body slightly to look at him and his digimon."But how can I walk into a situation where I know she'll get hurt in..."

Seeing Iris shiver worried him especially since he couldn't see her face to know whether she was still upset or not. She started speaking, but it was low so he tried to lean a little closer and his digimon followed suit. They waited patiently until they heard a snort followed by some chuckling which soon erupted into full laughter. Marco blinked as he watched Iris fall down on the grass from her laughter. The baby digimon started laughing as well and soon enough he was following them as well with some chuckles. Eventually, Marco joined Iris as he lied down on the grass and laughed along with her; maybe what he was saying was pretty cheese. Iris described his 'speech' as some kind of dialogue that would occur in a game. Marco liked to think that he was the protagonist of his own adventure so he accepted her comment as a sort of compliment. She was teasing him which was a good sign that she was returning back to normal. Her insecurities were not gone, but at least she was in a more cheerful state.
Eventually their laughter subsided into chuckles until they ended, but the smiles on their faces did not disappear. The baby digimon were tired so they cuddled together on the grass next to Marco and closed their eyes to rest. The black-haired man stared at the sky which was filling with stars. He would never be able to see stars like this from his apartment not unless he went to the roof. They stayed in silence for a moment until Iris spoke up saying that she wouldn't be a good friend if she didn't at least try to protect her partner. "Well then you guys just need to get stronger," Marco glanced at Iris noticing that she was giving him her full attention so he decided to continue. "How you get stronger? Well that's up to you guys, but if you're always worry about getting hurt -or others getting hurt- then you won't make progress." Marco looked back at the stars, "you have to take a risk...things could go wrong, but something really good could also happen. Isn't that enough reason to try?"
Iris watched as Marco laid down as well, laughing her until they went quiet and relaxed. At this point, Iris had Angel surrounded by the other digimon. The four of them were huddled together, eyes closed. So it was just the two of them talking now. Iris blinked for moment in surprise at the rather 'simple' answer Marco gave her. He was still sounding like a game character spitting her dialogue that was suppose to help her character on its journey. She chuckled again as she laid on her side. She let him speak until he was finished talking. "You have an answer for everything don't you.?" Iris said as she grinned. She moved her hand to remove a stray hair from her face. "Become stronger...take risks... You make it sound so easy... Like a game."
Iris looked down at the ground, thinking over his words but her hazel eyes looked at his eyes directly. "But I guess you have a point. Taking risks...become stronger." Iris suddenly yawned as her hands stretched out in front of her. "There's no reason not to try but I guess it's just that...I lost Ren and the others once... I don't wanna be separated from them again. Ren was my first digimon. We found each other."Iris smiled weakly but blissfully at the statement. "I would give anything to protect her...And not just her. My friends too..."One hand went under her head as the other remained stretched out. Her words sounded sleepy but she continued. "When you have someone to risk it all for...I guess... that's more than enough of a reason to try...Right?"
Before Iris knew it, she had talked herself asleep like the smaller digimon. She had let out a content sigh as her breathing slowed. The hand that was stretched out and fiddled with the grass was just touching Marco's. Her fingers grazing his knuckles. She curled up a little but otherwise remained still. She even had a content look on her face her hair fluttered in front of her eyes once more.

Marco grinned and chuckled a little; he didn't want to sound self-important, but at least Iris was amused. His words were easy to say and they might even roll off the tongue for him, but its not like his words were just for her. He needed to become stronger as well because it wasn't just Veemon and him on this journey anymore. Leafmon, Pabumon, and Jyarimon were part of his team now which brought him to a total of four members to train as well as four mouths to feed. Marco listened to Iris hearing some drowsiness in her voice. "Now whose talking like an in-game character," he teased her, but when he turned his head to look at her she was sleeping. He smiled at the sight before him. Seeing Iris's sleeping face resting peacefully in the grass under the starry sky made him blush a little; she was beautiful.
When he felt her fingers brushing against his hand he flinched a little in surprise. Marco looked down at their hands wondering how long could they stay like this before heading back to the hut? Seeing as the wind was blowing and the temperature was likely to decrease at night then he figured they didn't have that long. The baby digimon were still sleeping and he didn't have the heart to wake them up or to wake up Iris. He looked around trying to see if there was anything that he could use. The only thing he had with him was his all-purpose jacket. "That'll have to do... Marco reluctantly retreated his hand stood up to prepare for the journey to the hut. He kneel down in front of Iris and gently brushed some of her hair away from her face.
===Time skip to next day===
Marco stretched while waiting for everyone to be ready leave. His digimon were by his side playing. DemiVeemon was only able to officially meet Pabumon and Jyarimon this morning and he was very thrilled to meet them. "We're all together!" he exclaimed with a gleeful smile. Pabumon and Jyarimon warmed up to the blue digimon very quickly and he wondered if they met somewhere before. All four of them looked genuinely happy to be in each other's company and Marco was glad to see they were getting along well since it might make it easier to train them. "Together! Together!" Jyarimon matched DemiVeemon's enthusiasm as he hopped up and down. The little red guy was definitely more outgoing among the three baby digimon. Leafmon and Pabumon were quiet, but still took part in the conversation with small nods and smiles.
After his talk with Iris yesterday, Marco made a decision. He was going to stay in the Plains of Rebirth to learn about proper digimon care from Swanmon. He wasn't in a hurry to return to the city to report and Swanmon might still need some help. He was just waiting for Nikky, Meiling, and Iris so that he could say his proper good bye to the group. "Looks like today is going to be a good day."
Iris was gone to the world as she fell asleep. Between the calm but cold air and the grass it gave off a calm atmosphere that was different from the city. Futhermore...she felt relaxed. In front of Marco. talking to him started to ease her anxiety as she was able to actually talk to someone about it. It wasn't the same talking to Ren about it. The Renamon was more fearless than Iris was even though she was the one that got hurt the most. And in this world she didn't have her friends or her parents to talk to either. Sure she had Nikky and Niara -and Marco- but she didn't want to burden them and tried to hide her problem. Guess that plan didn't work. But it wasn't a bad thing either. Talking to Marco... she felt okay. She was still felt afraid but it wasn't overwhelm or like she was going to choke on it. It was at a level that she could deal with.
She didn't stir when she was carried back to hut. Rather she huddled herself closer to the warm body that was Marco she rode on his back. Once they were back to the hut, Ren took over there as Marco laid Iris down. Satsuki immediately went to cuddle and sleep with Iris and the new digimon Angel. The four of them were huddled together under the blanket that was given to them. Iris was surrounded by her digimon as Ren acted as a pillow for Iris and Iris acted as a pillow for Angel and Satsuki. Ren didn't say it but she was relieved as Iris made it through the whole night without waking from a nightmare. The four of them slept until the sun rose...
Iris and Ren were still sleeping, enjoying this peace and long sleep. Iris was curled up into Ren's body, becoming extra warm thanks to the fur of the other. Iris was content and the peaceful look on her face said it. Meanwhile Satsuki and Angel were up and at it. Angel immediately attached herself to DemiVeemon meanwhile Satsuki was looking at the two newcomers. She was intrigued by them. All she could think was them being new friends.

Nikky woke up to the sounds of Hanako's shouting and Kukkii's poking of her face. "Hmm... Morning already?" Nikky asked, rubbing the sleepiness from her eyes. Her mind was a little fuzzy about what had happened yesterday, but that was most likely because she just woke up. What had happened yesterday again? Ah! Iris had an outburst that surprised all who where present, making Nikky think that she should've tried talking to her earlier instead of letting it be. Just as she was going to check on the green-haired tamer, Marco followed after Iris with a clear look of concern. They were gone for a good while and when they came back, Iris was in Marco's arms, comfortable and asleep which reminded her of their relationship... or at least what she thought their relationship to be. Seeing the downcast look on her tamer's face, Hanako could only guess what she was feeling. The plant digimon suddenly started to bark up some random requests to try to distract her if only for a bit throughout the night.
When Nikky got up to stretch, she noticed that Iris was still asleep by Ren's side. The brunette felt a small pang in her heart as she glanced over her friend, remembering the events of last night. Nikky left the hut as quietly as she could so as not to bother the pair. Hopefully Hanako's ruckus didn't wake or bother them much. Marco seemed to already be up as was his team. Nikky felt the same small pang in her heart when she saw him, still not understanding this feeling. DemiVeemon was getting acquainted with Iris' newest addition while Satsuki curiously onlooking Marco's other digimon. Kukkii smiled at the sight of all the little digimon moving about, there was something calming and relaxing about seeing so many cute beings at once. Whereas Hanako simply groaned; there were waay too many baby digimon for her taste and wanted out as soon as possible. She never did know how to handle them after all. "Can we please get a move on?" They still had to head back to the city to report the completion of the mission. She wasn't sure of everyone's plans yet though. Thinking she could ask the already awake Marco before Iris, Nikky and her group approached him. "G-Good morning..." She said, her eyes downcast. A long awkward pause followed before she spoke again. "Umm, I plan on heading back to New Network City to report the mission as complete. H-How about you?"

DemiVeemon stumbled forward when he felt a sudden weight on his back. He groaned a little, but he wasn't hurt or anything. He blinked a little wondering who it was on top of him. "Angel?" he tried guessing. Meanwhile, the rest of the baby digimon were getting acquainted with the furry little fox, Satsuki. "Hello, it is nice to meet you," Leafmon was developing and he could make proper sentences. Pabumon and Jyarimon were still learning, but they could already form words. Jyarimon was the more enthusiastic one among them while Pabumon just kind of observed. "Hello! Nice, meet!" Jyarimon tried to repeat Leafmon's greeting, but he was still learning to form sentences. Pabumon didn't say anything, but he was looking at Satsuki meaning he was paying attention to what was happening.
While the digimon were getting to know each other, Marco remained by the door waiting for his companions to fully awake. The first ones to rise were Nikky and her two digimon; Hanako and Kukkii. He turned to her and smiled warmly seeing her was always soothing. His smile faltered a little when he saw her downcast eyes. "Nikky?" He approached her growing concerned, but then she spoke again which caused him to halt his movements. "I'm not going back," he made that decision yesterday, "I want to stay and learn more about taking care of my digimon." Even though Veemon was growing stronger he did not digivolve yet and he was growing concern that he might be doing something wrong so learning about the growth mechanics of the game would be helpful. He looked at Nikky wondering why she looked worried and sad. He stepped closer to her, "when I come back to the city will you come meet me? I'd like to hang out with you...I mean, we can go on a mission." He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "or something that we can do together." He sounded like he was asking her out on a date and when he realized he tried his best to ignore those thoughts so that he wouldn't start blushing. He wasn't sure how long he would stay in the Plains of Rebirth so he might not see her for a while. He just wanted to be able to see her once he was done learning about digimon growth.
"Hi Hi!" Angel said as she jumped onto of DemiVeemon. "Play..play... let's play!!" The digimon continued to act as if she had downed a bag of sweets when the others weren't looking when really that's how she was.
Meanwhile Satsuki was chatting with the other digimon as they greeted her. "Hello there." she said as she wagged her tail. The Viximon looked from Leafmon to Jyarimon. She walked over to the Pabumon. "It's nice to meet you too." she said and poked at the quiet digimon with her stubby limb.

"Geez Marco...." she laughed as she wrapped the bandage around the other's head. "You're an idiot to rush in like that. You know this right?" she seemed to be scolding him but the smile on her face said otherwise. Her response from the male was to place her in his lap.
"I know but I'm your idiot.. remember." Iris just chuckled. "How can I forget..."
"Please..Help him!!! Please!!
"If that's what you want..."
IRIS!
Iris opened her eyes. That was a weird dream. It wasn't a nightmare like before but it was still stranger than she had experienced. Especially the part with her and Marco so friendly with each other. Why would she be that 'friendly' with Marco. Why would she want to be. Then there was that last part. Iris sat up as thought it over. It was a weird thing to dream about. Iris stretched a little as she looked down as Ren. The digimon looked like she was still tired. Did she wait up for Iris to come back. When did Iris return? There was no question of how she returned..
Iris looked around the room and looked Marco and Nikki talking as he rubbed the back of his head. Like she thought, why would dream of something like that... with someone like him... Iris turned her head as she looked at Ren. The digimon was stirring. "Good morning sleepyhead." Iris said with a smile as she stroked Ren's head. Ren looked up at Iris in surprise as the girl was touching. "Listen..Ren..I want to say that I'm sorry..I shouldn't spoke to you like that... and I can understand if you don't.." Iris was stopped mid sentence as the Renamon embraced her. Iris' eyes widened until she smiled and wrapped her arms around the digimon. "Can I take this as apology accepted?"
Ren looked at her. "Yes you can."she said before she grind her knuckles into Iris' head. "Now don't run off like that again..." Iris winced but then smiled. "Okay I won't...I won't." As the two were having a moment, Iris' device's alarm when off. Iris looked down at the screen to see the digi-elf on there telling her that there was a new mission available. Iris opened the mail and read the content. Iris looked at Ren and then smiled. "Lookie Ren.." Iris said as Ren took the device in hand. "We should get Satsuki and Angel. Maybe we can ask if Nikki and Mar-" Iris stopped talking. "Or maybe we can go ourselves or just with us and Nikki.
"What about Marco.." Ren said.
"Marco will be fine on his own." Iris said, her face was a little tinted at the mention of Marco. "Do you thank him yet...He did carry you here."
Iris looked away from Ren. "I'll thank him...later..." Ren leaned forward and looked at her before grinning a little. "Here I was thinking you and him were friends or at least friendly now. Didn't you two talk and stuff. Don't tell me something else happened."Ren started to tease her.
As expected by the Renamon, Iris shook her head and spoke in a hush voice now. "Nothing happened! We talked and I feel asleep. Besides..." Her eyes looked at the person in question before her dream came up. "I highly doubt... I'm his type anyway...So let's just start packing before I change my mind and give you some babysitting mission."
Ren watched as Iris started to gather her stuff that was kinda spread out around them. Her tail swayed before she sighed and looked at the girl. If it wasn't one thing, it was going to be something else.

Nikky tensed ever so slightly when he heard her call her name. The girl wasn't really facing him so she couldn't really know when he'd start speaking. She was saddened to hear that he had already made plans to stay. "I-I see..." She said with a forced chuckle, a pathetic attempt to hide her sadness. Though what he said right after changed her expression, bringing her gaze upwards with a quizzical yet flushed pink look in her features, finally properly facing him. Maybe she had guessed Marco's and Iris' relationship wrong? It had seemed like they hadn't seen each other in a while when they first reunited in the digital world, to the point that they were acting as if it were their first time meeting. Why did she feel relieved if that were the case? She wasn't sure what to think any more, but she was certainly happy that he wanted to see her again yet guilty at the same time. Ahh so many mixed feelings were frustrating her! "I-I'd like that..." She said with hesitation before pausing once again. "B-But what about miss Iris?" She wouldn't get anywhere if she didn't at the very least ask him, though her wording could have been different. 'Tch... What are we, chopped liver?' The collective voices of children digimon playing about in the plains were really starting to irritate the Palmon. She went back into the hut to seek shelter from her irritants. Hearing some rustling about in the hut, Hanako noticed that Iris and Ren awoke from their slumber. Thinking that she could ask Nikky in her stead to speed things up some, she went to the last people to wake up. "Hey, morning! Nikky plans on heading back to give in a completed mission and Marco is staying here. What do you guys plan on doing?" She asked with haste. She wanted out of here as soon as possible.

What is this new world?
Location: Plains of Rebirth - Swanmon's Hut Date: 5th day
Marco smiled feeling quite happy to hear Nikky's response. He did hear the hesitation in her voice which made him wonder if everyone was okay. She looked like she wanted to ask him something so he waited patiently for Nikky to continue. When she did step up to ask him her question, Marco was surprised. He blinked, "Iris?" he didn't understand why Nikky would bring her name up, but when she did his thoughts returned to the night before. He did admit that his view of Iris had changed after the events from yesterday. He shared a nice moment with her and he learned a little more about her which made him feel happy (he couldn't explain why). Still, why would Nikky bring her up? Perhaps she wanted to include her in their activity? They did seem to be getting along well. Marco rubbed the back of his head as he thought about how to best answer her. "We can go on a mission together, all three of us," he smiled at her, "it'll be fun with more people." He stepped closer to her and lean a bit forward so that only she would her him. "But I'd still like for just the two of us to hang out, together," Marco stepped back with a hardly noticeable blush on his face, "is that okay?"
DemiVeemon started playing with his new friend. Since Angel was riding on his back, he decided to act like a horse and started walking on all fours. The little blue digimon was quite the friendly and in his In-Training form he was specially playfully. "Haha, you're a cute little one," DemiVeemon giggled as he stopped walking after getting tired. He stared at the pink baby digimon and rubbed her head.
When Pabumon was poked, he jiggled his whole body as if it was made of jello. Leafmon and Jyarimon laughed since their friend's action was quite funny. Pabumon laughed along with them and he was glad that his action made his friends happy. "Hello," he still only a couple of words, but at least he managed to return the greeting. Leafmon decided to fill in for the rest of them, "It's nice to meet you too," Leafmon hopped over with Jyarimon following right behind him.
Swanmon entered the barn and greeted everyone with smiled. "Good morning, dears," Marco's baby digimon hopped over to her and greeted her with a simultaneous 'good morning'. "What has everyone decided to do?" she turned her attention to the tamers waiting to see what their plans were.
Iris was bagging the last of her stuff when Hanako approached her and Ren. She explained that Marco was staying in the plains while Nikky-meaning herself- were leaving to turn in their completed mission. Iris looked at the two Hanako were talking about but then quickly looked away. They seem friendly...so why did that bug her? Man this was getting annoying. Especially now that Renamon was looking at her looking at them. "We're going to into the city to look for a mission." Iris said as she zipped up her bag. "I feel better about taking on a mission."
"Thanks to Marco." Ren added in, which made Iris give her a dirty look as she started to put her shoes."But as Iris said, we're going to Network city for a mission. Finally!" Ren then leaned into Iris, whispering. "You have to thank Marco since he carry back here after calming you down." Iris in return hissed back. "You're not my mom... and I'll thank him when I want to... can't interrupt his talk with...Nikky. If you wanna do something: get Satsuki and Angel ready."
Ren rolled her eyes as the two of them stood up. Iris was ready to leave....quickly. But it would be safer to leave with Nikky. She could ask if Nikky wanted to walk with her to the city and according to Ren she had to thank Marco. But involved her going there. Her fingers fiddled with her strap as Ren and she was sure Hanako was looking at her. "How about I get going and let Nikky catch up to me." Ren shook her head as she grabbed Iris' wrist. "I swear...." Ren said to herself as she left Iris trying to resist the other's pulling.
The Renamon with tamer in tow approached Marco and Nikky. Did she know what had talked? Nope not a clue but she wanted to leave her mission and the last thing she wanted was Iris distracted or huffy because she didn't do something. "Morning Marco and Nikky." Ren said as she made Iris the center of attention. "Iris wanted to ask you two something."With that Ren walked away to collect her 'sisters'.
Iris was thinking her head how she was get back at Ren but at the moment she had to focus on the two she was in front of. "As Ren so nicely said, I had wanted ask you something."Iris said as she looked at Nikky. "Hanako told me you were heading out to the city. I am too and I was wondering if you wanted travel with me and stuff." Iris then turned to Marco, her arms had now folded just as Swanmon appeared in the barn with them."I wanted to talk to you about something. Can we step outside?" --- Angel laughed as she rode DemiVeemon like horse. She giggled when he rubbed her head after he was too tired to continuing walking around. "I'm little now..." Angel said,"But I'll get bigger...you'll see." She cuddled up to him more.
Meanwhile Satsuki watched as Pabumon jiggled. She laughed at the action lightheartedly with the others. "Hello to you too..." Satsuki replied back as Leafmon and Jyarimon joined in to surround her. Before she could say anything else, Swanmon appeared and the little ones quickly after ran up, saying good morning to the motherly digimon. As the two were looked at the big digimon, they were scooped up by Renamon as she went to the digimon that allowed them to stay here.
