I am currently looking for a couple or a group to provide an adoptive parent like plot for my twin mers.

I don't really mind the breed specifics, so long as they are aquatic in some way.
I would be interested in working with the owners to plot and RP out the following points:

- Finding the shells
-- What happened to cause the shells to be orphans?

- Hatching of the shells
-- How the adoptive parents react
-- How the foals react to parents that are not the same

- Growing up
-- Will the foals try to find their real family

- Family RP
-- As they grow older, the foals realize how much their adoptive parents mean to them

I would prefer to RP some if not most of these points with the parents so if you want to be part of their life, please be interested in RPing with me.

Hey Moxx! 8D I have at least one parent I'd like to offer, possibly two if the owner of his plotted mate is up for it. This is Teague, but he goes by Flurry:



He lives on the outskirts of the Grail Herd (here). He's a healer and takes care of the pirates who come back with wounds, and when he's not doing that, he makes it his duty to keep watch on his section of the reef, looking out for danger and intruders. It's likely he would find them if he was drawn to some sort of commotion near the reef - perhaps some sharks got to the parents after the birth? He'd approach after he was sure all danger was gone and then drag the shells back to the reef, likely with the help of his friends.

The foals would also be raised with the help of his friends, though I think Keeva (plotted mate) would help him the most. He's already had experience raising foals - he did most of the raising of his friend George's foals when their father... well, basically ran off to find himself? XD He had to come to terms with his past and left them in the care of his friends, and Teague and Ilyrana were the responsible ones. X3

So, yeah~ I would love to plot and RP with these little ones. <3 Whether or not they are introduced to the pirate aspect of the herd life would be up to you, if you like this idea - Teague would want them to be careful, but he wouldn't mind if they got caught up in it. n.n Keeva might, though. XD

And yeah, having them be collectors would definitely work out well with the herd, especially since they'd have stuff to trade on the Trading Days, which are a huge part of culture. n.n

I don't mind the quotes. They're actually more helpful than not. smile

Parents backstory: Their mother was alone when she had the twins and placed them in their shells. She hid them so she could come and go to find food for when they emerged, and to sustain herself. While out searching for food, a fast moving current pushed her into some sharp rocks. She was injured, and bleeding. The smell of the blood attracted predators. Some of the smaller ones she fought off, but the fighting took a toll on her. She had lost a lot of blood. Wounded, she wanted to return to her babies, but on her way back, a large kelpi picked up the scent of her blood. He stalked her for a while. She tried to get away but he was relentless. Feeling herself growing weaker, and knowing that if she kept going back to her babies, she would lead the kelpi to his next meal. So instead, she swam as far away from there as she could before she lost consciousness. I doubt the girls would ever know what happened to their mother, unless someone happened across the scene when it occurred.
The father doesn't even know he has foals, and probably never will ((unless I custom him someday...that could make for interesting plots as well))

I guess the next thing to do is either RP or plot out them finding the shells? I doubt the shells could really have much say in the RP so that would sort of be between you two, until they hatch. smile

Hey again. I was wanting to see what you guys might want to do with this plot? Now that the girls are adults, I really want to get their plots going. The childhood/basket ones involve you guys so I don't want to move forward until those are hashed out.

Moxx, I am SO so so sorry for completely disappearing like that. It wasn't fair to your girls and it DEFINITELY wasn't fair to you, and I would like to apologize.

If you'd like to get these plots moving, maybe we can set up an RP? Teague is usually on self-assigned lookout duty, so if Keeva finds them, he'd be right at the edge of the Grail to help her bring them back.
