How would all of you respond to this kind of situation...? So I got fired from a job I had over a year ago and found a new one shortly after. So I was working at this job which was a gas station. Okay so everyone shows up at a gas station. An ex-boyfriend showed up a couple months after I started working there and started talking to me like nothing ever happened. He told me personally he didn't want to talk to me so I stopped everything and he shows up a year later talking to me like it was nothing. It gets weirder! I leave this job for another job that is so much better and make more money. He shows up a month later at my work plus I'm engaged now. The first time he showed up he was alone the second time he brings friends. Now this time he doesn't talk to me but his friend does, he looks super nervous too. This friend and I get along pretty good so I don't have a problem with him...the crazy part is I don't understand his reasoning behind this at all. It gets even crazier for me a another month later one ex and one guy I didn't date show up. I'm sure they are trying to check up on me, but why now suddenly and I'm just wondering if they will show up again??? If they do what should I do???

Ask yourself this question: Am I asking why to find a solution on how to avoid a misunderstanding or am I asking why to verify whether I should continue to soak up the spotlight?
I would not wonder if they would show up again, it's a waste of time. Instead know that they may. And when they do... prepare yourself. You mention that you still feel a pull towards them... sad Truly these "random" visits can be a distraction. Something to distract you from work and joy within your current serious committed relationship. When you reside or work in the same area of your ex-relation, randomly running into them could happen. Keep in mind that you moved on! You are gaining experience and getting paid more. You are engaged to be married. Treat your ex and his buddies as customers of the company(go by your job's company policy in dealing with the public). sweatdrop Before you got this new job , they could have easily shopped there before.
