[PRP] Interview Part VI (Golem!Chel & Marzena)

Chel had now begun building a paper boat out of her notes, considering they were absolutely useless. Curse this golem body and its inability to take material objects back to Deus.

"Next!" she called to the hallway. Let's see. Thus far she had dealt with a germaphobic goat-thing, a hysteric fairy bug thing, a bunch of creepy crawling undead. Where were the succubus' and chocolate fairies? Those were things she could get behind.

just to provide some ic context: marzena has been asked by a -random npc teacher- to provide an interview for a local newspaper. She will get extra credit from -random npc teacher- if she participates! This is merely ic flavor, not any sort of ooc reward.

the room is bare, it has one table, two chairs and some small windows.

chel is a 6' male avarice (envy) demon. he has black hair, two enormous black horns, pale white skin and a suit with green/black/pink accents.

[Why her, of all people, was her reaction when she was approached and given the assignment of being interviewed. Marzena had, however, bit back a snippy retort when told that it would give her extra credit. Fine. She'd do it.

Arms crossed, she watched the others scheduled before her leave the room, wondering if there was any sort of connection between them. What was this interview even about? She had no idea and she didn't really care.

All she knew was that this was an invasion of her privacy and she certainly wasn't going to be cooperative.

When it was her turn, Marzena walked into the room and simply sat down in the chair provided.

And said absolutely nothing.

Chel was so happy to see someone who just politely came in and sat down. So many of these crazy ******** had been flying and dancing and complaining about dust and it was just SO NICE TO SEE SOMEONE NORMAL.

She even had cool dyed hair!

"Hey there. What's crackin' little lady?" she asked.

Marzena merely crossed her legs and stared at the boil before her. Small talk, huh?

She was not adept at small talk. Why anyone had even thought that sending her to be interviewed was a great assignment? Maybe the professor had wanted her to learn to be more forthcoming, or even, shudder, friendly.

Marzena sighed.

"So what's this interview about?"

...Maybe this was about her experience with the Game Master.

"Oooh you snappy, I like that," she commented, pretending to shuffle around some papers. "Alright. Well to summarize, it will be about hunters, horsemen and the event in the desert."

She looked to Marzena with a smile and said, "So let's start at the beginning. What do you know about hunters? What is your opinion of them?"

She glowered darkly at the boil, crossing her arms.

...At least this wasn't about the Game Master. It wasn't a particularly pleasant experience to talk about, especially when she had her skin taken from her. And Marzena had not said a word about it to anyone.

And she wasn't going to start now.

"All I know is that they're humans." She said flatly. And her knowledge of them was mediocre, thus so was her opinion.

"Well that is a ... very succinct conclusion," Chel said with a laugh. Her pen was moving and it looked like she was writing down something important, but in reality she was just drawing a picture of Marzena with a D:< face.

Seeing as Marzena was tightlipped about hunters, she decided to move elsewhere. "And horsemen? How do you feel about them?"

It was not as if Marzena like generalizing others by their species, either. After all, she had always been resentful of the stereotypes of a selkie, and sought to distance herself from it. Humans? Peh. Maybe some of them were okay, and some of them were not. It wasn't as if she was interested into getting to know them.

Her eyes narrowed into slits at the next question. "My opinion of them is that their leader, Medea, was it? Seems like a pompous a**."

Chel did a fistpump in her head. ******** yeah. Another student who thought Medea needed to go down! That was progress on her end, definitely.

"Can you tell me more about that?" she said calmly, trying to get Marzena to feed her more information. "Elaborate on what you mean by pompous a**, that is."

Marzena scowled. "She prattles on about how important she and the Horsemen are, but she seems to forget that Halloween Town let the Horsemen stay here when they had nowhere else to go. And then she tried to use others as her puppets." She leaned back in her seat with a huff.

"That's just low." ******** Medea.
