So I made an Attack on Titan parody video a few months ago, but I really want to remake it a lot better this time (make things more on time and make the sequencing better). I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions on how to make the parody. I'll give examples and specifics of what I want to have in my video.

I want to have the opeing part (where it shows the wall Maria symbol), but with something else like how this video puts in the Soul Reaper symbol. And I also want to have the splirted blood on the screen (since it's a huge Attack on Titan feature)
I also would love it if I could add in the Japanese writing like this video does, and I don't care if it's Hiragana, Katakana, or Kanji

Do I need to use any certain software or anything? Because I've just used Movie Maker (definitely not the best) to make my videos since they've never required anything like this. I don't own these videos, they're just made by other people.
