Character's name : Darin Porter
Character's physical description : He is a human male of middle age with thick graying hair and brown eyes. He is usually dressed with tasteful elegance, not flashy. He is generally armed, though weapons are usually concealed. He is a wealthy entrepreneur who can open a portal if needed and supervises all missions from Portal Central. He is married to a very powerful telepath who can sense Power in others. He owns Portal Central from which all missions start and to which all teams return. He has a virtually limitless supply of weapons, radios, food, etc. from which teams can resupply between missions.
Brief Character Summary : Human mutant makes portals, gives mission briefings
Character's Power (from being Mutant) : Makes portals, teleports
When does the power fail? If unlucky (rolls 1-5 on a d20).
Character's Strengths : Very organized. Leadership.
Character's Flaws : Vows to protect the weak, defend the "right" and honor his wife. A tad over-confident. Just a little.
Equipment carried: Radio, 2 guns, multi-purpose knife, stylish clothes made of bullet-resistant material, various currency

Back Story to be added later. Short version: He wandered through a portal one day by accident, and Dawn happened to see him do it and followed him. They fell in love with each other as they encountered adventures and made unusual friends before finally they were able to use the treasures they had collected from various worlds to build Portal Central.

Character's physical description (she looks like) : She's an elf with unusually long ears and limbs, very long golden hair and big blue eyes. She stands nearly six feet tall, but she's willowy and awkward. She usually wears soft shades of blue clothes. She is a young adult of her species.
Brief Character Summary : Awkward elf girl with magical healing and magickinesis
Character's Power (from being a Magical elf) : Can heal others if she has the right components (usually herbs) and is willing to use some of her own life force. Can use her magic to move objects up to her weight (about 100 pounds). If she tries to move an object that is too heavy, nothing moves and she is injured severely. She can use it to "pull" or "push" objects that she could normally pull or push with her hands. Using this magic also tires her out.
Character's Strengths : Neesha understands nature, especially plants and animals (although she can make educated guesses about water paths and rocks, too). She is adept at picking mechanical locks (ones that use keys) and if she is very familiar with her target object and its surroundings, she can remove objects from a person's pocket without them feeling it move. Her magickinesis gives her the ability to manipulate very small parts of machines even at a distance so long as she can see what she is doing. If she tries to move things blindly and attempts to move things through an immoveable object, it will hurt her deeply physically, a hurt she can not heal herself.
Character's Flaws : She is awkward and a bit naive about people, especially non-elves. She is pretty gullible because she is so young and had a sheltered childhood. She is curious and likes to play with things. When she gets alcohol in her system, her magickinesis seems to get a mind of its own, so she avoids alcohol if she can.
Equipment carried : Radio, small very bright flashlight, a tranquilizer gun, a knife, M&Ms, bag of marbles, super fast-drying glue, first aid kit.
Background and personality can be added here along with images, but not necessary. I'll get to this later.

Character's physical description (what she looks like) : brown simian girl with prehensile tail and simple red/gold clothes.
Brief Character Summary (a few words for the Character List): Curious Simian mechanic with prehensile tail
Character's Power (from being Alien) : Alien (Simkin) prehensile tail (although images does not show it, the tail has a few fingers and a thumb on the end). Tail has same abilities as another arm/hand.
When does the power fail? If tail is restrained or restricted it is not stronger than her other arms. She can do some things by touch, but if she can't see what she's doing, especially a new skill, she has the same chance to fail as if she was doing it blind-folded. This includes doing things with the tail completely behind her.
Character's Strengths : lockpicking (even blindfolded), acrobatics, juggling, escape, mechanics, affinity for animals, odd hand-to-hand combat (not karate, but effective with tail and all), sleight of hand (and tail), some jungle/forest survival, can aim gun with tail given an extra moment to bring it around in front of her.
Character's Flaws : Tiki is excessively curious with less common sense than average. She also has less respect for ownership than average (if she can move it, she may move it, including into her pocket). It's not that she won't give it back if asked, but it was interesting! Her odd body-shape and hair pattern and tail make disguises difficult. Gullible. Loves to eat, especially bananas and chocolate.
Equipment carried : Radio, lock picks, tool kit, first aid kit, duct tape, knife, 5 grenades, gun, brush, snack food, backpack to carry it all.
Background and personality: Tiki has a loving family, but they are supportive of her life choices to leave for adventure. "Have fun storming the castle!"
She is not totally absent minded, but can be distracted by shinies or sweets. She doesn't mind getting dirty, but then she wants to clean up again. While not her first choice in fixing a machine, she does believe in percussive maintenance.

She has white-blue hair that she keeps in pigtails and onyx eyes. She generally wears black and grey tactical gear. Karii is considered barely of age on her planet, but is around 26 on most other planets.
Brief Character Summary (a few words for the Character List): Ex-military alien from a polar climate with technological and tactical expertise.
Character's Power (from being Alien, Mutant, Psionic or Magical - pick one) : Desolid (she calls this "phasing") from being alien
When does the power fail? When Karii becomes overheated
Character's Strengths : Karii is good with demolitions and technology, earning her an early promotion in the military back home as a specialist and a sniper. She carries many supplies with her, but is knowledgeable enough to throw something together out of what she has.
Character's Flaws : Karii is very sensitive to the heat, being from a polar climate, and will sometimes lose the ability to phase or even pass out from heat exhaustion unless cooled down. Karii is also convinced that technology can solve any problem and believes that hacking is an art, not a crime (which is how she ended up here, not in the military back home).
Equipment carried : Radio, sniper rifle, hand gun, head set, kevlar vest, wireless keyboard, extra ammunition, quick-freeze ice packs, glow sticks, fuses, 2 blocks of stable explosive and 2 knives (one in each boot holster).
User Image Karii was very young to
be joining the military, but she had an affinity for demolitions with a developed talent for technology. She worked black-ops as a specialist and a sniper for 3 years until she hacked one top secret file too many. Convicted of treason after pleading not-guilty, Karii was exiled for the next 60 years or so. With nothing better to do, Karii decided to join up with Daren for a while. With a childish attitude and a shoot-from-a-distance philosophy, Karii really doesn't care how dangerous it is as long as she gets to play hacker and blow things up.

Ok, let me give this some thought. Here's my first one:

Character's name : Morphena

Character's physical description : Varies. natural shape is a sphere about 22 inches (55cm) in diameter weighing about 120 pounds (55 kg) that changes color with her mood and is soft enough to flatten 10% on a side while at rest in Earth-normal gravity. She can change size to as large or as small as she likes, but her mass remains about the same.

Brief Character Summary (a few words for the Character List): Magical shape-shifter

Character's Power (from being Magical) : Shape-shifter and matter-manipulator. This ability lets her shape matter (physical changes, not chemical ones), including crushing, re-arranging, and knitting together. She can only change the colors on herself, which revert to their natural colors as soon as they fall more than an inch or two away from her touch. Shape-shifting her own self does not impair her functionality at all, nor does it enhance it other than making her smaller or bigger (mass and volume). She does not become stronger or weaker, able to do without food/air/water, able to see better or fly or become desolid. She may look like a cloud, but she can't pass through multiple holes of a screen, for instance. She remains one entity. She'd have to make herself very skinny to go through only one hole. However, as a cloud, she could spread herself very thin and may be more easily pushed by wind, just not able to control it very well.
When does the power fail? When she or what she is trying to shift gets too cold (below 0 degrees Celsius/32 degrees F) or too hot (above 100 degrees Celsius/212 degrees F)

Character's Strengths : Mimicry (works best if her shape has a flexible mouth), ventriloquism, knitting, plays stringed musical instruments

Character's Flaws : absent-minded (especially in smaller shapes), compulsively changes shapes when nervous or excited, must revert to natural sphere at least once per day or take a lot of damage, extremely curious (might say obsessively so). She needs a great deal of water (not as much food) and perspires a LOT so she sometimes needs to find innovative ways to hide the damp trail she leaves behind.

Equipment carried : Radio, chemical heating and cooling packs, large canteen, 10 darts.

Background: Morphena found one of Darin's teams on a pastoral planet and was fascinated by the technology they possessed, so she stowed away in a pack of goods they acquired and joined Darin's cadre when Dawn discovered her. Around Darin and his teams she generally takes the form of a young adult female with long blond hair and eyes that change color with her mood (neutrally gray).

Edit: Added image of her in most usual state of curious (eyes are brown).
Mood -- Color of eyes: (can I change the color of her words with her mood?)
Magenta -- wary
Red -- angry
Orange -- hostile
Brown -- curious
Yellow -- joyful
Green -- peaceful
Blue -- concentrating
Indigo -- sad
Purple -- fear
Black -- grief
Gray -- apathy, neutral
