NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!
1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!

Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

There was a lot Mia had been neglecting, and one of them happened to be her schoolwork.
She had, at the very least, finished all the homework and assignments from her previous classes, but as of lately, she had... never really bothered attending new ones. There were things on her mind and... other things to deal with, and after being at a standstill for who knows how long, she decided it was finally time to pick herself up, and get back to being the A+ student she used to be.

And so, the first class she decided to pick up was the first aid one, because after her fight with Andrew, she realized a good defense led to a good offense, and it was totally because her shield wasn't strong enough that she lost. Totally.

At least, the task she was given seemed simple enough. A training dummy, and the first thing she had to cure was a fever.
Fevers practically cured themselves, right?

Looking over the tools given, Mia frowned.
Did one even NEED tools to cure a fever?
Well, maybe, a hot water packet, a towel and... a thermometer, to check their temperature?
Seriously, this stuff was child's play.

Taking the few materials she deemed acceptable, she went to work on the dummy, and after some time, the fever was cured, though it seemed the nurse wasn't happy with her skimping on supplies. It was better using less than more, was it not? And the fever was cured, which was her sole objective.

... well, she supposed just doing it once wouldn't make her an expert at anything, and maybe she should try her hand at other complications.

While the term "practice makes perfect" wasn't one Mia usually adhered to, because after all, she always made sure the first try was perfect, it didn't hurt to get a bit more practice in, in this case. Mia couldn't deny she wasn't much of a fighter, and in terms of strength, she knew she'd lose to those who focused on physical strength.

Besides, healing always had its uses, and despite doing her best to keep out of harm's way, something ALWAYS ended up happening.
While it was sad there was nothing that could heal her clothes from such mishap, she could, at the very least, heal some wounds, maybe. Scratches and scars were something she never hoped to get. Or, at least scars. Scars were permanent.

It seemed, this time, she was going to work on curing hypothermia.
Wasn't this like... the opposite of a fever?

She knew she wasn't an expert in a the medical terms, but... hypothermia was basically when one's core body temperature dropped below normal, and was often caused from extreme cold, while fevers resulted in one's body overheating. All she had to do was just wrap the dummy in a plethora of blankets and they'd warm up. Also maybe a thermometer. Basically, even LESS supplies than needed for a fever. Why couldn't they give her an actual challenge?

So she did just that, but got a weary look from the nurse.
JACK this woman was impossible to please.

Alright, third time.
Part of her wished she had gotten this over with during her first year here. Seriously, so embarrassing for an upper year like her to be doing such simple classes like these, but that was what she got for letting other things pull her away from her studies, and it would have been even MORE embarrassing if she graduated without having taken a single ONE of these classes.

It seemed her pride would have to take a back-burner as she did her best to make up for the time lost, and she grabbed another dummy, hoping to be given more of a challenge this time.

But as luck had it, it seemed she was stuck with fever again.
Maybe she could do a better job and TRY to earn the professor's approval.

Even if Nurse Cricket disapproved of her using minimal supplies, she really couldn't see how it'd be beneficial using MORE supplies. It wasn't like it'd get the job done faster, or something.

By some miraculous effort, she seemed to use just enough to please her, even if Mia didn't feel like it improved the results a whole much.
Whatever, as long as the teacher was happy...

Alright, earning the nurse's approval was the first step. The next was to do familiarize herself with more complications, HOPEFULLY more complicated than fever and hypothermia.
Really, teacher, give her a challenge.

After receiving her dummy and told what she was going to try curing, Mia only stared.
... well, it wasn't either of those, but heat stroke. Really?

Alright, heat stroke.
All that required was... a water bottle. And a towel.
Seriously, only an idiot could get heat stoke. The pumpkin sun was rarely ever hot enough to burn anyone, as well as it was never quite bright enough. Only one who flew directly into the sun or something...
But again, only idiots would do that.

Still, she tried, and while the nurse disapproved, she did what was asked.
An exemplary job too, if she'd say so herself.
