NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!
1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!

Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

Nim had been thinking lately that she wasn't doing enough now that she was in school. She had barely learned anything. It seemed like a waste.

She did a little research and discovered some open classes she could participate in. First aid seemed the best to start with. With a happy skip she headed to the indicated room.

When she walked through the door she found dummies all over with small notes next to them. She approached the nearest one and read the two words on the paper. Not breathing.

Not breathing. Not breathing. Nim pressed her hands to her cheeks and thought. What could she do if a person wasn't breathing.

Oxygen tank!

She rushed to the closet and found something similar to what she'd seen in movies. It was a small tank with a clear mask on it. That would help him breathe, right? She lugged it back to the dummy and placed the mask over it's face. It took a bit of fumbling to find a way to turn it on, but she managed.

Unfortunately, the dummy still hadn't indicated any kind of success. But she'd seen them do other stuff in movies and shows. Compresses! She wasn't sure how many she had to do, but she mimicked what she'd seen.

After a moment, the dummy indicated success, but she felt like she hadn't done very well.

Nim moved on to the next dummy, determined to do well in this class. She felt like she hadn't done well enough with the last one, and she was going to improve.

She picked up the paper next to the dummy and frowned. Heat stroke. That meant the dummy was too hot, right? So she needed to cool it down.

Nim hummed. She needed to cool down the dummy. She looked around the room until she spotted what looked like huge refrigerators. Maybe, hopefully, they were actually freezers.

She rushed over to them and pulled the doors open (with some struggle, because big metal doors were heavy). Inside were various vials and flasks, all of them looking kind of medical and very much like she shouldn't touch them. With some creative head tilting though she found some ice packs in the very back. She nearly knocked a bottle over trying to reach them, but she managed.

Returning to the dummy she hesitated. Where would be the best place to put the ice? The forehead seemed like what a lot of mom's did, so she put one there first, but when she felt the dummy it felt extremely hot around the torso. She packed a few more ice packs around it's check and neck and then bit her nails, waiting.

It took agonizing minutes, but then the dummy finally indicated success. Yes!

Feeling like she was improving, she moved on to the next dummy feeling a little brighter. She was going to do a few more dummies and learn as much as she could before she left.

She picked up the note by this dummy and frowned. No pulse.

She kind of knew what to do for this one. No pulse meant no heartbeat, so she had to get the heart started again. To do that she needed one of those big shocky machines.

She spent five minutes searching for one before she stopped and slapped her own forehead. She was a storm mage! She didn't need shocky machines! Jack, she was being silly.

She ran back to the dummy and rubbed her hands together, grinning. "Clear!" She shouted loudly to no one, and pressed her hands to the dummy's chest. They sparked with lightning and the dummy's pulse kicked up.

Yeah, she was awesome!

She felt a little amped up from using lightning to heal that last dummy, so she moved on to the next one with a little pep in her step. She felt like she'd really been doing well in this class so far. She'd made it through two dummies now without issue.

Feel high on success she picked up the little note by the next dummy. Fever. She frowned. Fevers were like, normal stuff, right? Shouldn't that just require some medicine?

She reached out and placed a hand to the dummy's forehead, feeling for the fever. She quickly withdrew it when she realized it was burning up. Not a simple fever, then.

She bit her lip and looked over to the heatstroke dummy she'd done earlier. The ice packs were still piled around it. She went and grabbed one, glad that it was still pretty cold. She put that on the dummy's forehead first, and then went in search of something else to help.

She rustled through every drawer she came across. Most of them were things like tongue depressors and rubber gloves, but she came across a dangerous looking draw of needles she didn't dare touch and a few way too detailed pamphlets that she felt a little green after looking at.

Finally, in the last place she looked (as always) she found a small box simply labelled fever reducer. That seemed really convenient. When she flipped the box over it had no instructions.

Not wanting to overdose, she only stuck one pill in the dummy's mouth. It took longer than it seemed like it should have, but then the dummy indicated a success.

She did it!
