7/6/14 - Summer and Hogsmeade~Currently Accepted students. This is really important. Please update for the new year, and change the number in your title "~ Accepted (#)" to your current year, as well as the appropriate sections within your profile before July 29th. If you do not update the profile, the Profile Manager will assume inactivity, and move the profile to the Whomping Willow. New sixth years, remember to add in your OWL scores from the previous year. Graduating students, remember to add in your NEWT scores, if you chose to take any. Failure to do so will result in the moving of the profile to the Whomping Willow. New third years! You are now eligible for electives! Make sure you sign up for all the ones you want! Second years are eligible for Advanced Flying! Please note that all students above third year must also apply for electives, and sixth and seventh years must choose all the classes they will be attending. The requirements for NEWT level classes may be found here. Note that if your student is an entering first year whose title is "Pending", you don't need to do anything. So just sit back, relax, and watch chaos unfold. C: Those with profiles in Hogsmeade should note that profiles skeletons have been updated! Check here for more information! |

7/21/14 - Professor Updates and Class Electives
Attention Hogwarts professors and staff! Skeletons have been updated to reflect the current profile template. The profiles must be updated by August 4th! Failure to do so will result in professor removal under the assumption of inactivity. If you cannot update your profile within the time slot provided or if you no longer wish to be a professor, please send a PM to Essy ze Ninja Attention please! Second years (if you wish to take Advanced Flying,) and Third years and above, if you have not already signed up for your class electives for the upcoming year, please do so! If you think you forgot a certain character, or think you forgot to add an elective, feel free to double check the Class List Roster. If you come across any mistakes, PM Essy ze Ninja right away! And finally! Students! The Hogwarts Express will be arriving in the next *[few days] or so, so until then, why don't you stop by Diagon Alley for some back to school shopping?

The Hogwarts Express has just arrived in Hogsmeade, marking the beginning of a new year! Student may now start posting at the station, and professors may now be posted in the Great Hall. First years, please follow the instructions of the Groundskeeper.

8/8/14 - UPDATES. SO MANY UPDATES.All profiles that were not updated were moved to the Whomping Willow. If you want to reinstate your student, simply dig up the profile from the Whomping Willow and PM Utsuha Moon the link to your updated profile. The Current House Occupants thread was recently updated! Currently accepted first years are added to that list. If your student is in the wrong house, year, or any other changes you wish to be made, please contact Utsuha Moon. Attention 5th and 7th year students! OWLs and NEWTs are open and students may begin testing (if you haven't already). Please head on over to the subforum and start! |

10/27/14 - Ze train! Ze train!The Hogwarts Express has arrived in Hogsmeade! For returning students, please post your characters going to the carriages, for new students, please post them waiting for the professor that will take them to the castle. If your character has not been marked Pending, you will have to wait until your student is looked over before posting them. Also, for third years and up, if you haven't yet chosen your electives, please do so now. Second years have the option of taking Advanced Flying. The form to do that can be found here. Also, if you have not done so yet, please make sure that you have changed your student's age and year in their profile. If they have been moved, then please PM Utsuha Moon to request for them to be moved. Any moved characters can be found in the Whomping Willow, and you must change their year and age before they can be moved back. |

11/9/14 Tick Tock Tick Tock! Don't be Late!Welcome to the beginning of a new year! Professors, it is time to open your classrooms. Keep in mind that most classes are scheduled to update on Saturdays. If you wish to request a different day, PM Essy ze Ninja. Third Years and Up, if you haven't already sent in your Class Electives, please do so! If you're missing an elective or noticed a mistake on the Class List , you may PM Essy ze Ninja to edit it. First years, please update your profile to reflect your sorting. Do NOT change your "Pending" status to that of "Accepted." To notify the Student Profile Manager that the house has been added, simply add "House Added" next to your pending status. For example: "John Smith ~ Pending *House Added*" Failure to add the house before November 15th, 10 AM EST will result in the removal of the profile to the Whomping Willow. If you wish to retrieve your character you may PM Diamond Wales. Quidditch Try Outs are open! All students are encouraged to try out! And last but not least, check out the Marauders Map to soak up the rumors of Hogwarts! |

11/21/14 Get Into The Holiday Spirit!This school year, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is hosting a Yule Ball, open to professors and students of all years. Put on your prettiest gown or your fanciest dress robes, grab a special someone if you've got one (or bring stag back in style if you don't), and come dance the night away! The ball will open on the 25th of November and continue on through to the 26th of December. On an unrelated note! Fifth and Seventh years, remember that you have until the end of December to complete your OWLs/NEWTs. Also, Professor Expectations has been updated, so if you have a professor, be sure to check that out! Also, please feed your chickens. |
