12/09/2014 Veela and Giants and Gnomes, oh my!Our information and requirements for Magical Creatures has been updated! There were a few changes made to some of the creatures already listed as well as a few additions to the types of magical creatures you can play in guild! New additions include Hippogryffs, Giants, and even Hogwarts Portraits! We'd love to see some of these roaming the Forbidden Forest and the halls, so feel free to check it out and make up a new character. Another reminder, fifth and seventh years have until the end of December to complete their OWLs and NEWTs. If you need more time to complete them, you will need to PM Devlyn Maycry to formally request an extension. Also, if you haven't already, get your students and professors dressed up and head over to the Yule Ball! The party's in full swing and won't close until December 26th, so there's plenty of time to get your dance on! In light of everything going on in the castle this term, feel free to check out the Marauders Map for the latest gossip making the rounds in the castle, or submit rumors of your own! And lastly, please note that your Vice Captain Violet the Maestro has transformed into a dress-wearing dragon. We have yet to see how this will affect her running of the guild, but time will tell. |

01/04/2014 Aliens... Eating... My... Brains! (Also Summer Updates)Currently Accepted students. This is really important. Please update for the new year, and change the number in your title "~ Accepted (#)" to your current year, as well as the appropriate sections within your profile before January 20th. If you do not update the profile, the Profile Manager will assume inactivity, and move the profile to the Whomping Willow. New sixth years, remember to add in your OWL scores from the previous year. Graduating students, remember to add in your NEWT scores, if you chose to take any. Failure to do so will result in the moving of the profile to the Whomping Willow. Note that if your student is an entering first year whose title is "Pending", you don't need to do anything. So just sit back, relax, and watch chaos unfold. C: If you have any questions or wish to receive an extension, please contact Utsuha Moon. It's that time of year again! Time to choose your class electives! The 2027-2028 elective list will remain unchanged until 1-18-15, that way, it can be used as a reference for which character had taken which elective. But don't worry, if you do forget, you can still request to have your electives double checked by sending a PM to Essy ze Ninja, and she will be able to tell you which electives you previously signed up for. Also, a note to all Magical Creatures! If you wish to keep your characters in this subforum, please post in this thread by the end of this month. 01/25/2015 School's back in session!For those of you unaware, the Hogwarts Express has arrived in Hogsmeade! Go ahead and post your students if they have been marked Pending/Accepted and join in meeting with your classmates! For thirds years and up, if you haven't done it yet, please submit your electives! Those must be submitted before the start of the school term or you will not be able to attend classes. First years! You must be marked PENDING before you can post! If you don't have a student yet, and wish to be in this school year, they must be created and marked pending before the sorting ends. If you join the guild after the 31st, you will be enrolled in the May-June school year instead. Also, if you have not updated your students yet, please do so. Otherwise you will have to go to the Whomping Willow to update them and PM Utsuha Moon with the link to get them moved back. |
