8/29/2015 That thing has a name???

All the profile skeletons for Magical Creatures have been updated!

Roleplayers of all current magical creatures will be relieved to know that no, you don't have to update your characters to the new skeleton. However, all creatures made past this point should use them!

If you currently are not aware, OWLs/NEWTs are in session. If you cannot get them finished by the 30th of September, please PM Devlyn Maycry for an extension.

The rain in Spain falls mainly in the plains.

10/27/15 - Took The Midnight Train Goin' Anywhere...



Students! The lesson plan for the following classes have been changed, please update your new List of Knowledge for: History of Magic, Potions 4-7, Mythology.

Third years and up! If you have not already sent in your Class Electives please do so now! The Class List has been updated; to request a reminder of a character's previous electives, PM Essy ze Ninja.

No running now! The train has just arrived at Hogsmeade Station, feel free to post your students if they have been marked Pending/Accepted.

First years! You must be marked Pending before you can post! If you don't have a student yet, and wish to be in this school year, they must be created and marked pending before the sorting ends. If you join the guild after the 31st, you will be enrolled in the February-March school year instead.

In honor of Valentine's Day, Hogwarts is hosing a Masquerade Ball!

Don your finery, cover your face, and prepare for a night of intrigue and enchantment. There will be dancing, refreshments, a date auction, kissing booth, and beautifully decorated gardens if you're inclined to take a romantic stroll. But! Be sure to keep your mask firmly in place until the night's end, or you'll ruin all the fun!

Fifth and Seventh years are reminded that they have until the end of the school year to complete your OWL and NEWT exams. If you are unable to complete them in the time allotted, you must request an extension from Devlyn Maycry before the end of December.

Members are also encouraged to check out the new thread detailing information about International Magical Schools hosted at our sister guild Ministry of Magic and the Wizarding World. It has plenty of useful information for creating characters who were born and schooled outside of the UK.

12/24/2015 The Polls are officially OPEN!


The End of the Year Feast is upon us! Feel free to start posting your characters arriving at the great hall and wait for the unveiling of the House and Quidditch Cup!

And students! Don't forget to run out and vote for this year's Professor of the Year award!

Fifth and Seventh years! OWL's and NEWT's are due by the end of the year! If you need an extension, please PM Devlyn Maycry to request one.

Professors! If you haven't already, don't forget to post any earned house points to the Reporting House Points thread.

New members! If you wish to continue roleplaying during the summer month you should consider joining our Ministry of Magic guild where you can create family homes, go school shopping, and enjoy the streets of the UK!

1/1/16 - Cheers To A New Year


Decisions, decisions! It's time to choose your class electives! The 2031-2032 elective list will remain unchanged until January 23rd , so it can be used as a reference for your character's previous electives. But don't worry, if you're too late, you can still request to have your electives double checked by sending a PM to Essy ze Ninja.

Currently Accepted students. This is really important. Please update for the new year, and change the number in your title "~ Accepted (#)" to your current year, as well as the appropriate sections within your profile before January 23rd. If you do not update, the Profile Manager will assume inactivity and move the profile to the Whomping Willow.

Note that if your student is an entering first year whose title is "Pending", you don't need to do anything. But you can pop over to our Ministry of Magic guild to go school shopping in Diagon Alley!

Professors! This is an important notice! A new policy will soon begin for professor inactivity, more information on this will be released to you shortly via PM.

5/23/16 - Meet You at the Chopping Block


Attention Students! The List of Knowledge has been changed for Charms 2. Herbology 1-3. And Music. Please update your student's LoK with the appropriate changes.

If you have not already noticed, a few changes have been made to the guild. Namely, six classes have been removed from the guild and will no longer be taught as part of the curriculum.

These are the classes we will no longer teach in our guild:

Ancient Studies
Cooking With Magic
Muggle Art
Muggle Music
Muggle Mythology
World Studies

For more information on why the classes are being cut and what to do if your character is attending this class, please see this announcement to hopefully answer your questions. Otherwise, here are a list of links that have been updated.
