NAME OF CLASS: First Aid 101
PROFESSOR NAME: Professor Cricket

General information: A general overview on basic illnesses a student might run into, as well as symptoms and quick fixes to things like breaks and deep cuts while on the go!

Each student is given a dummy to work on, though they may choose to partner up in fixing it.

Mechanics:
Roll 1 20-sided dice, what you roll is what your student gets to work with...

Dice Rolls and What they Mean!
1-4 - Broken Bone
4-8 - Fever
9-12 - Heat Stroke
13-16 - Hypothermia
17-20 - Lack of Bodily Function (such as breathing, pulse, etc) - this is unnaturally so.

After this, please roll 4, 4-sided Dice. Take into account their total and any repeating numbers

Total Results and their Meaning

1-6 - You do a rather poor job patching up your dummy, you might not want to try and heal anybody anytime soon!
7-12 - You do an average job, nothing extraordinary, but passable!
12-16 - Extra good work! Your student can now heal surface wounds!, but not repair HP! This means things like cuts and bleeding that might hinder another character can be patched up!

What Repeating Numbers Mean

No Repeating Numbers - You used just the right amount of supplies, good for you! Not wasteful at all.
Repeating 1s or 2s - You didn't use enough supplies, that's rather lazy and Cricket obviously disapproves of it.
Repeating 3s or 4s - You used too many supplies and that's wasteful! Naughty! Cricket might make you earn your supply rights back in a future class!

If you work as a group, split up the dice between yourselves as evenly as possible. So if you're paired up, each person rolls a 10 sided dice and you add up the results to get your dummy!

Then you split up your 4 sided dice to work on fixing it up!

Bonus Mechanics:
For every 3 times you attempt this course, your student may add +1 to their 4d4 dice roll's total to improve how well they patched up the dummy.

YOU LOSE/FINISH THIS CLASS WHEN...

- You are finished rolling both sets of dice and rping out the results. That means you have to START OVER to try again! You may do so in the same thread or a new one if you decide to attempt again at a later date.

Claaaaaaaaaaaaass! First aid sounded really important to Wally. It would be good for a hero to know how to really save someone, right? Not just defeat the bad guys.

So he skipped to the room that was scheduled for First Aid and burst through the door with the confidence of a hero doing his duty to better himself. There were dummies all of the room, each apparently suffering a different ailment.

Wally chose one at random. At first it looked perfectly fine, but when he touched it the plastic skin felt like it was on fire.

Really hot wasn’t good for normal people right? Wally didn’t know what it was like to be affected by heat, but he vaguely remembered his moms getting sick if they got too hot.

What was good for cooling someone down? Water of course! He spotted a sink in the corner of the room and went on a hunt for a bucket. There were some boxes strewn here and there, but those would get soggy and gross. Tiny cups lined one of the cupboards, but they didn’t seem like they’d hold enough water to make the dummy better.

Finally, in a shabby, gross little closet, Wally found a bucket that had probably seen better days. But it still held water, so he filled it up til water sloshed over the sides. Dragging it to the dummy was a little tough, but he was a big strong hero and was able to do it.

He dumped the entire bucket on the dummy, but it just laid there. However, when he put a hand to it, it felt much cooler.

Success!

Pleased with his performance with that dummy, Wally floated on to the next. This one was moving, unlike the other. Just a small, inconsistent vibrations. It took a second, but he realized this was the dummy shivering. That meant cold, right?

Man, it must suck to be so affected by temperatures all the time. Too hot and you got sick. Too cold and you got sick. How was anyone ever healthy?

Cold was easy to fix, though. He just had to find some blankets! That was easier said than done, though. There were all sorts of weird bottles, cups, and syringes in this room, but he hadn’t seen anything like a blanket.

For a second he considered covering the dummy in cardboard from all the boxes laying around the room, but that didn’t seem like it would be enough. Instead he finally found a scratchy, uncomfortable looking blanket in a red box next to the fire extinguisher and wrapped the dummy it in.

Agonizingly slowly, the dummy warmed up and stopped shaking. Good enough for him!

The next dummy was burning hot again, and Wally began to wonder if there were any other ways to be sick. Clearly hot and cold were vicious ailments.

At least he already knew how to fix this problem. He floated back to the first dummy and picked up the bucket he'd left sitting there. It only took a few minutes to fill it up with cold water, and he dumped it all over the new dummy.

Just like the first one, this dummy cooled off quickly. Yay!

However, he realized he was kind of flooding this entire room. That probably wasn't going to get him any bonus points. Before running to the next dummy Wally wondered to the supply closet and took out a mop and bucket. Cleaning was no fun, but he didn't want to leave a mess behind.

Good heroes always helped clean up, that's what his moms taught him.

Wally made a face at the next dummy. It felt hot and feverish like the other two, but a little different. A card next to the dummy helpfully told him it was heatstroke, which kind of just sounded like the same thing to him.

Either way, it was clear he needed to cool this one down too.

Seriously, all these temperate ailments. How did living things survive?

Wally looked back to the bucket for a second, but he shook his head. He'd just finished mopping up the water from before! If he dumped more on this dummy he'd have to come back and clean up all over again.

That meant he had to find some other way to fix this problem. After looking around the room he found what looked like a refrigerator in the corner. Stuff in fridges were always cold! He floated over and opened it, only to find it was a gigantic freezer. Even better.

After pushing aside some jars of questionable liquids, Wally found little blue freezy packs. That would work, right? He carried a few of them over to the dummy and began outlining the entire thing with freezy packs. Dozens of packs and an empty freezer later, Wally deemed that was enough.

The dummy began shaking with shivers, which concerned Wally for a second, but he figured that just meant he'd done a good job.

This healing stuff was pretty easy! He was probably totally done with this class. A master of the art, for sure. He left feeling good about himself.
